"Hey Pearl! " Pearl turned at the high pitched voice calling her name. She saw the small boy Steven running towards her.

"Hello Steven." She patted his head. He held a small white object in his hand.

"I lost a tooth. " Pearl patted his head again.

"Oh, hey there Pearl." Greg said, walking up. He had age so much in the five years since-

"Steven, I thought today was special, I don't know why..." Pearl challenged.

"It's my birthday!" Steven said, jumping up and down.

"Garnet and Amethyst have a surprise for you, just go up to the temple."

Steven ran away, and Greg sat down with Pearl.

"I'm gonna start the beach house soon." Greg said.

"Greg, it's been hard without Rose. But I think Steven can help us make a life on Earth, and-" pearl was cut off by Greg kissing her shortly.

"Oh, sorry Pearl." He said, scratching his head. "I guess I just-" That time, Pearl kissed him.
