Amber's Point of View~

I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing. I groggily woke up as I blinked for a few before slowly sitting up on my bed and checking the time to see it was seven in the f***ing morning! I swear whoever was calling me better have a good reason or I am gonna break someone's legs today.

"Hello..." I said still tired.

"Hey Am. You good?" He asked as I blinked.

"How is this motherf***er awake after a long flight yesterday?!" i thought to myself as I scrunched up my face in slight annoyance.

"Oh yeah I am totally fine. Totally didn't wake up to you calling me and finding a good reason not to break your legs." I said deadpanning.

"Oh... uh... well... sorry?" He said sounding slightly scared and confused as I sighed.

"Anyways I can't even stay mad at you for many reasons I am not gonna list cause I am too lazy to." I said but tone stayed indifferent.

"Does one of the reasons have to be that you love me very much that you can't stay mad at your own boyfriend?" He asked laughing a little in the end making me smile.

"Yeah that works." I said sighing as I continued.

"So why did you call exactly?" I asked yawning a little.

"Well I originally called you to ask if you wanted to go to Jocelyne's diner with me to have breakfast. Though if not it's fine-" i legit cut him off there.

"Hold the phone enderboi! Who said I was rejecting up that offer? I am coming get ready!" I told him.

"Okay that was fast. See you outside my house I guess." He said as I hummed.

"Yep see you!" I said cutting the call and getting up.

I quickly went to the washroom to freshen up. After that, I walked over to my drawers and picked out a good but simple outfit. I quickly brushed my hair and tied it up in a loose ponytail as usual and quietly went down the steps and to the front of the house and quickly wore my shoes and headed out after locking the door room behind. I always had an extra set of keys with me.

I jogged down the street to Mark's house. It was a little cold outside today. I was glad to be wearing a jacket. I reached Mark's house in a matter of minutes. I stopped and stood just to catch my breath and right at that moment I saw the door open which revealed Mark coming out of the house as he locked the door behind him and turned around to see me.

"Did you just come here now or..." He asked walking down the steps as I nodded.

"Yeah I legit came running." I said standing up straight.

"I guess we're both on time." he said making us both smile in the process.

"Now let's get going! Breakfast waits for no one!" I said as he laughed.

"I agree." He said grabbing my hand and intertwining it with mine as we walked towards the diner.

((A/N: Not me listening to Like I Can by Sam Smith while writing that part :'D))

"Remember the first time we went to that diner together early in the morning?" I asked smiling as I saw him nod.

"Yeah. I remember asking you about it and of course you had agreed to come. In some cases, it was the best decision I ever made." He said laughing a little.

We continued walking while reminiscing somethings. After a while, we had reached the diner. It felt like an eternity we have come here even though it was two months ago. Mark released my hand and went forward and opened the door and stood by the side motioning me to go first.

I smiled and rolled my eyes because of he was legit being a gentleman in this case which i didn't mind at all. I walked inside as he followed from behind. I looked around the place to see things have not changed one but other than the New Years decorations.

Right at that moment, I saw the doors open to reveal Jocelyne coming out from the back. The minute she came out, she saw us and had a huge smiled formed on her face as she came towards us.

"Well I'll be! My two favorite people in the diner!" She said as she hugged us both making us smile in the process. I really did miss her.

"It's great to see you too Jocelyne. It's been days." Mark said after pulling away from the hug.

"Yes it has." I said chiming in.

"I am really glad to see you two really. I missed both your presence here." She said and then she looked at us two and her eyes seemed to light up.

"Is it just me or is there something different about the aura around you two?" She asked us both as I looked at Mark and smiled.

"I guess you could say the aura has changed around us both." I said still smiling.

"Oh my goodness. Congratulations you two! I knew you two were a good match." She said hugging us one more time.

"I guess you were right all along." Mark said smiling.

"Yep. Now I don't want to keep you two standing and not eating so please take your seats and would you two like the usual?" She asked us as we nodded.

"Sure." Mark said as Jocelyne nodded and headed off to the back.

Me and Mark both sat down at one of the booths. The one specific place we sat for the first time we had come here. I remember it very well and by the looks of it, he does too. It was the best moment both of us had even if we were just friends back in the day. It still feels like we have been together for a year than a month.

"What's on your mind?" I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard Mark ask as I noticed him playing with the ring on my finger as I shook my head.

"It's nothing serious. Just remembering the first time we had come here together. We shared a lot of memories together and it made me feel like we have been dating for a year but it's only been a month." I said laughing a little in the end.

"I feel the same. You already know that I am what people call a 'hopeless romantic'. I wasn't sure about my feelings for you at first after a two months had passed. But then after a few days I figured out that I liked you." I heard him say as I smiled.

"It was the same for me as well except my feelings were just all over the place." I said giggling a little.

"I am really glad that fate had brought us together at last or we'd have to go through the pain of calling each other a friend." He said chuckling as I laughed a little.

"Yeah you're right. I wouldn't like that happening." I said silently laughing as i put my other hand over his until we heard the back door open.

"I hope I didn't make you two wait for long." I heard Jocelyne say as I shook my head.

"You didn't." I said as she put down our breakfast in front of us along with our usual tea and coffee.

"Enjoy you two." She said leaving for the back one more time as we both started eating and shared a few bites from each other's breakfast and then Jocelyne came back to her counter.

"You know what I like most about you two coming early? It means i can talk to you two before people start piling in." I heard her say as I gulped down my food.

"It's basically the best time for us to come as well." Mark said to her as he glanced outside for a moment.

"Speaking of which, how was your Christmas Jocelyne?" I asked.

"It was great no doubt about that. I visited my daughter who was living in Tampa with her girlfriend. My daughter is pan." She said as I smiled.

"That's really great!" Mark said happily as I nodded.

"I agree." I said.

"They are very good for each other. I remember my daughter was very scared to come out to me about her sexuality but of course I would support her no matter what." She said sighing.

"She must be happy to have a mother like you." I said as Jocelyne laughed a little.

"Please you flatter me too much. I am just doing what a good mother should do." She said as the both of us continued eating and a few customers had already arrived.

"Well I guess that's my cue to leave and here's the bill." She said leaving after giving us a smile and heading towards the other people.

"Jocelyne is a very good person." I said as Mark nodded.

"In my defense, I would say she's the best." He said as we continued eating and drinking our tea or coffee.

We eventually had finished and Mark paid the bill which I let him cause I gave up. We both got up from the table and handed Jocelyne the bill and I helped her put the plates on the tray. After that, we got ready to leave.

"See you Jocelyne!" I said waving at her.

"Bye you two! Have a great day!" She told us as we exited the diner and came into the open.

Ranboo's Point of View~

I decided to stretch a little as I looked up at the sky. The sky was partly cloudy today and I checked my watch to see it was 8:15AM right now. I wasn't sure where to go other than go home and maybe start streaming in a few.

"Is there any specific place you're wanting to go?" I asked her as she shook her head.

"Nope! Not anywhere besides going home. I may or may not have left a message to my brother about my whereabouts." She said snickering a little as I sighed nodding.

"I legit did the same with my parents. I hope I don't get grounded for this." I said laughing a little as we walked home hand in hand.

"So... what do you wanna study in college?" Amber asked as I pondered for a bit before answering.

"I did always want to study in computer engineering. I always had an interest to make things really." I said answering before looking at her.

"What about you?" I asked.

"I guess it's the same as you but I have also been thinking on taking up science at the same time." She said as I chuckled.

"You legit sound like a nerd." I said jokingly as I was jabbed on the side as I let out an 'ow'.

"Funny coming from a guy who gets straight A's in all classes. Doesn't make you less of a nerd." She said in a sassy tone as I laughed.

"I was just kidding." I said as she rolled her eyes.

"So are you gonna stream later once you get home?" She asked as I nodded.

"Yep! Only if I don't get grounded by my parents. What about you?" I said and asked her.

"I'll probably stream after you're done cause I wanna watch your streams." She said smiling at me.

"It makes me happy knowing you're watching my streams really." I said smiling.

"Good to know. Though I've been thinking of playing Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach for a while! I might stream it tomorrow after school." She said as I controlled my laughter at the memory of me playing it.

"That's cool! Let me know cause I wanna help out and talk if needed." I said to her offering her some help.

"Sure. I was going to anyways." She said as we continued walking until we reached my place first.

"Well I guess we'll part ways here." I heard her say as I looked at her.

"I really wanted to walk you home you know." I said to her before she could leave.

"I could tell but I don't wanna keep your parents waiting so you can walk me home another time. See you later." She said running off.

I stared at her before looking back at the front of my house and entering. I was legit praying that I don't get grounded or in trouble just cause I forgot to tell them I was going out for a bit. I sighed and opened the door with my extra pair of keys and walked in.

I took my shoes off first and walked in and saw none of them were in the living room. I guess you could say I was hoping that they would still be asleep but I didn't think so, cause I could smell breakfast being cooked in the kitchen. I I walked in their to see that everyone was seated and my mum was making breakfast.

"Good morning." I said casually as I saw my mum look at me along with my sister and father snapping their attention at me as my mum stopped doing whatever she was and came up to me and hugged me.

"You have no idea how worried you made me this morning!" She said hitting my arm a little.

"Sorry mom. I kinda forgot to leave a message or a note in the morning." I said apologizing while rubbing my arm. She hits twice as hard as Amber does.

"Where were you and it better be a good reason." She asked me making me slightly nervous.

"Oh I was out having breakfast with Amber." I said but was son interrupted.

"Wait who's Amber?" She asked me as I looked at her.

"Oh uh she's my girlfriend actually..." I said as I heard my father nearly spit out his coffee while my sister just looked at me in surprise.

"Oh my god!! My baby has a girlfriend!" My mom said as I sighed.

"Mom please don't make it weird..." I said feeling slightly embarrassed.

"I am sorry dear but this is big news to me! How did you two meet? When did it happen?" She asked me.

"Is it that blonde girl that came to our house once so you two could walk to school?" I heard my sister ask as I sighed before answering.

"I met her on the first day of highschool here and we started dating last month of December and yes it is that blonde girl." I said sounding slightly annoyed at the last bit cause my sister legit knew she was right.

"Knew it!" She said as I deadpanned at her.

"You have to let her meet us! She's always welcome to join us for dinner anytime!" My mom said as I nodded.

"I'll talk to her about it. Am I still in trouble though?" I asked as she shook her head.

"I'll let it slide for now but you better let me know next time." She said as I let out a breath of relief.

"Okay will do. I'm gonna go and get ready to stream. See you guys later." I said walking out of the kitchen and walked upstairs to my room and quickly messaged Amber.

Me:
Good news! I am not in trouble! Bad news! My parents know about us lol!

My wonderful girlfriend:
Oh that's good to know! Both my siblings and Sapnap were still out cold when I came home!

Me:
Lucky you!

My wonderful girlfriend:
Yeah I am currently preparing breakfast for them so they can eat when they wake up :^

Me:
Must be nice for them to have someone as you in the house to take care of things ^^

My wonderful girlfriend:
I mean I don't mind really!

My wonderful girlfriend:
Oh and I am gonna be streaming at 6:30PM today!

Me:
Why so late?

My wonderful girlfriend:
Cause I am more of an evening person lol!

My wonderful girlfriend:
Also my mom may or may not have called me this morning the minute I entered my house-

Me:
Oh that's cool!

My wonderful girlfriend:
Yeah and I told him about you cause I was told to like she asked me how my trip was and all and then asked me if I had a boyfriend so uh yeah she knows and probably the entire household too lol-

Me:
Glad to know I am not the only one though my father nearly spit his drink out lol

My mom just squealed through the phone and it nearly made me throw it away!

Me:
At least the phone lived another day! God knows what will happen if the phone cracked-

I looked at the time to see it was 10:30PM right now. Plus I have to go to sleep cause highschool starts up from tomorrow which is the a pain. Can't wait to get out of their with Amber. Right now I was trying to fall asleep but I couldn't.

I guess it's just the time zones or my once in a lifetime ADHD acting up. That was when I heard my phone go off as I slowly got up and reached for it to see a text message from Amber as I quickly clicked on it to see.

Hey Mark! You awake?

Me:
Apparently I am! Can't sleep?

My wonderful girlfriend:
Sadly yes I can't! Which stinks! ;-;

Me:

With that, I put my phone away after waiting to see if she would reply. I turned the other way as I pulled the cover over me and looked out at the window. After a while, I closed my eyes to slowly drift off to sleep.

Tomorrow is gonna be a long day for the both of us...

Yeah okay I'll be honest, the big crap is gonna happen really later! :D
