CLOVE'S POV

I'm trying to focus on making a fire when I hear a loud ripppppp!!! I spin around and scan the room.it seems the rope Cato was  climbing on was faulty and had snapped! I run over to him. He must have just fallen somewhere between 20-30 feet! He is making low groaning sounds  he needs to get to the hospital right away. The first phone I try is dad...No answer! shit! I try asking Cato for his parents number but he is unable to speak. I try phoning the hospital and a young woman answers the phone "district 2 hospital what can I help you with?" "a boy just fell around 20 feet at the training center he's losing consciousness" I say in a shaky voice "well I'm sorry miss but all our ambulances are at an avalanche at the stone quarries can you get him here? "she says. I sigh and say "ya I'll try and get him there"and with that I hang up and look at Cato he's nearly unconscious shit shit shit! I can't carry him alone but no one else is here.so I walk over to the spear rack and throw the spears on the floor and wheel the rack over to the boy. On the way I grab some rope  and when I get there I'm filled with guilt its all my fault anything that touches me gets hurt like my loving mother even the people who mean nothing to me get hurt like the girl I sparred with last week. right after I won she hit her head so hard that she couldn't come to training for 3 days now this! I'm a walking disaster zone! I try to lift Cato on to the rack boy is he heavy. after many failed attempts I finally get it and tie him on. Then I'm pushing him as fast as I can down the road I get more the 1 weird looks. On a normal day I would tell these people off but I have bigger things to worry about. I burst through the hospital doors untie Cato he falls on my shoulder and again I'm interduced to his weight . the nurses come and help me lift him on to a hospital once we get to room 253 they open the door and tell me that one of them will halve to ask me a few question's I say "ok" one of the nurses  place Cato in the room and step in themselves she turns to me and motions for me to sit I sit on the end of Cato's bed then she starts "is he your brother?" I reply "no" "is he your boyfriend?" I think about the last time I was here my friend had broken his arm and I was asked these same questions and I replied no to both and they didn't let me stay. I think about replying brother but that wouldn't work because I already said no so I sigh and say "he's...my boyfriend? "she says " ok just one more. his name? Your name?" I say "he's Cato Hadley and my name is Clove kentwell" "ok that's all " she says and walks out as soon as the door closes a raspy voice says "boyfriend eh?" aaaaagh!! he heard!! "shut it Hadley" I say "oh come now clover just toying with you" he smirks. "what about a thank you CLOVE for saving my ass" he says "ok ok Clover thank you for saving my ass" "your welcome Cato also the nurse says you halve to stay here overnight do you want to call your parents?" he frowns and says "not really I don't want my mom to worry " I say " oh ok well then you can call if you need anything" I turn to walk away but he speaks "clove please don't leave" and the guilt is back so I say "ok I'll stay but I need to call my dad" he smiles and says "ok"

CATO'S POV

my head hurts so bad.IT IS THE WORST!!but I try not to complain to much to clover [that's my nickname for clove]I'm so happy that clove is staying with me it would be so boring without her. "do you want me to get you something from the store I'm going to grab some lunch" she says  I say "actually soup would be nice clover" "kay see you in a couple minutes" she says as she walks out of the room .about 3 minutes after clover leaves the doctor comes in and says "Cato I have your painkiller for the headache" "thanks  doctor" I take my pills and almost right away the pain subsides. the doctor leaves and clover arrives with the blessed soup. I gulp down the soup in less then a minute. After I finish my soup clove tells me to sleep and I don't fight her she's right I should probably sleep.
