After a whole lot of arguments with him ,annika finally agreed to accompany him in car to reach her hostel.Is it really possible for him to leave his love alone ?Obviously no .

A- aunty,It's getting late mein chalthi hoon .

P- arey ,how will you leave alone?It's too late (she asked being worried )

S- mom ,I'll drop her

P- teek hai beta , Annika I'm very happy you came .I don't know why , it's just been few days we've met but still I feel very attached with you . I always wished to have a daughter,you know a small sister for shivaay  and now I feel like I've actually got one in you .

S- Mom! She isn't my sister (he reacted at once )

P- kyun,kitna pyaari bachi hai .

S- nahi mom ,ye meri behan nahi hai

He argued with a grumpy face watching which annika bit her lips to cover up her smile .She was enjoying his reactions though .

P- acha baba teek hai ,she isn't your sister .Ok

S - good .

Then he left from there with annika .

P- ye shivaay ko  kya huwa ?(she thought being confused )

In car

A- Dinner kitni karaab tha (she continued her displeasure regarding the food making wierd faces)

He let out a silent chuckle appreciating himself for his mischievous act.

A- shall I ask you something?

S- hmm bolo .

A- as far as I've noticed .OM is really a luxurious palace ,and you seem to have been living an affluent life .Then how did you manage to adjust with a normal life in Delhi ,mera matlab hai ki...

S- yeah I understood ,Shall I tell the truth?(he asked while concentrating on the road )

A- hmm.(she responded immediately)

S-About luxury,I was never a guy who would prefer a rich environment. I just  adapt to things .  And as you knew ,I had my own reasons to stay in Delhi,and to be honest I closed your father's case within a year .But I didn't  leave Delhi.

A- why ?

S- I didn't want to stay away from you .

He paused and looked at her to find her to have been  gazing outside with a stern face already .She is really a tough one to handle he thought .Taking a U -turn ,he stomped the brake gradually to slow down to get  thrilled the next second .There was a  brake failure ,his face was hell stricken by now .Without telling anything he looked whether she had passend her seatbelt through the corner of his eyes .

A- shivaay ,slow down na .Itna fast kyun...(she complained )

S- ani ...ani hold onto something tightly.

A- kyun,kya huwa

S- plss don't ask me anything,just do what I'm saying.

Annika noticed his tensed face and his legs trying to force the brake harshly. She understood ,what was going on .Immediately she held his hand which was clutching the gear,and wrapped her other hand around her stomach .

A- shi...shivaay ...(her voice shivered in fear )

S- ani ,kuch nahi hoga .Don't panic ...it's going to be fine soon.(he assured her placing his palms on her face )

She just closed her eyes,holding his hands tightly. He then somehow managed to release  the accelerator slowly which helped to balance the speed and the car just halted when it got hit with a tree .It was not a very forced hit,just a slight one to hit an obstacle. As soon as the car stopped he removed his seatbelt and neared her .

S- hey ani teek...,teek ho na tum (cupping her face with one hand while his other hand was placed on her stomach)

But he was shocked to find her struggling to breathe  .She actioned him to give the inhaler while taking deep breaths. As soon as he gave one,she inhaled it until her breath was controlled. By the time ,his eyes had already teared up as he was scared for her .He continued rubbing her back for sometime  ,trying to make her normal.Since it was an unexpected situation suddenly ,she got an attack which does occur sometimes. But this time it wasn't the same as always because it clearly showed that she did get feared too much today ,how can she not?.The moment she came to know that there is a brake failure ,the first thought which hit her mind was only him and  the small life growing inside her.

S- ani ...ani

A- tum...(taking deep breath )tum teek ho ?(she asked slowly still capturing air to breathe with her hands moving over his chest )

S- mein fine hoon (he assured),tum teek ho na ?(his voice was shaking)

She just nodded .

S- chalo hospital chalthein ,

He was about to get down ,but she stopped him by holding his hands indicating him not to go.

A- not needed shivaay ....thodi der sath raho ,that's enough .Dar gayi thi mein ,(she traced her fingers through her forehead )

S- don't worry annika ,I won't let anything happen to you and our baby .(he spoke enclosing her both hands within his )

A- for what your crying now ?(she scolded )

S- nahi ,tumhe aise dekkar ...(he wiped his tears )

A- I'm fine ...kaise huwa ye ?

S- pata nahi ,I service the car regularly  but I don't know how this happened.

And suddenly there came a notification sound from his mobile,it was a voice message from an unknown number .

The message started with a devilish laugh "kya huwa Mr .Shivaay Singh Oberoi ?dar gayi ?Don't worry ,your life won't leave you so soon .I will gradually pick everything from you and then ,at last you yourself  will beg to take your life .Until then ,we will have to play these type of small games in between .What to do Mr .Shivaay ?for whatever you have done with me .....killing you at once won't suffice me ever ,So wait for my next move"(it was a female voice )

Annika was shocked by now ,

A- shivaay ,ye kya hai ?(scared)

S- pata nahi ,

A- shivaay ,there's someone who wants you killed !(her voice trembled as tears already made their way from her eyes)

S- ani ...(wiping her tears )I've seen too much of these in all my cases ,It's nothing to worry .Plss tum tension mat ho ,now it's just you about whom I'm worried .Ye problem ...mein dekloongi ,

A- par...

S- I'm telling you right?

Having reached her hostel ,still her mind was occupied with fear because , if it was an accidental mistake it would have not been serious but the thought that there's someone who wants shivaay's life was something too terrible for her to even think of  .This very thought didn't let her sleep all night .

On the other side ,he made a note to find his hidden enemy soon because while listening to the message  he himself was aware that the person wasn't just lying .Her voice had some power with determination ,which depicted that she will definitely shoot out her next move.Before that he had to find the person ,she not only wants shivaay harmed rather she has declared to take away everything from him which is actually haunting him .

Next morning

Annika was getting ready ,when she heard a knocking sound .Opening the door she got a great surprise the next second.

A- maa ,papa!! aap ?

M- andhar nahi bulaogi?

She dragged both of them inside and crushed them in a warm hug .

G- are you even eating anything ?you look like a stick .(complained her mother  )

A- maa ,don't start now itself. Papa aap kaise hai ?

M- I'm all fine annika .We just thought of giving you a surprise that's why we didn't inform about our arrival .

A- baiya bhabi ?vo nahi aaya hai kya ?

M- he actually wanted to come with us but suddenly there was an unavoidable work so ,don't worry I'll definitely ask your brother to meet you soon .Happy?

A- hmm(she nodded happily )

M- arey ,pehle tum kaisi ho ?And your health condition is good right?Did you go for check up to the gynecologist?

A- bas papa bas !! Let me speak now.

G- annika you won't believe me ,from the day you left home. He has been thinking only about you ,did annika call ?did she eat ?Is she having her medicines without fail ? Are the only words from him throughout the day ,he will be bombarding your brother with these questions. Don't worry Mukeshji ,now you have met your daughter right ?Aaram se baath kijiye apni beti se .

M- vahi tho karunga mein .

Annika who was listening to all this ,just hugged her father again. She knew ,whatever happens ...her father's love for her would never decline because she knew he isn't attached with anyone other than her ,not even with Arnav .

G- Annika ?ye area safe haina ?Neighbours kaisi hai yahan ?

Soon something striked her ,what if her parents see shivaay here ?

A- maa ,I'll just come back.

She rushed to the restroom and dialled his number .

S- hello ani ,

A- kahan ho tum ?

S- (chuckling ) with ....you in my.... dreams (he stretched his words   )

A- shivaay I'm serious, where are you ?

S- flat mei, where else will I be .

A- you should be in OM na ,there is a function today right ?Then why you're here ?

S- what are you even asking me annika?Tumhe yahan chodkar mein kaise jaa saktha hoon ,tumhe mera zarooarat hoga tho ,tere paas hona chahiye na muje .

A- God...(gritting her teeth )

S- what's the problem now ?

A- ok listen haan, don't come out of your house today ok?

S- kyun ?

A- plss shivaay ,

S- arey plss kyun bol rahi ho ,I won't leave the house,but tell me what's wrong.

A- nahi vo ,papa and maa is here .If they come to know about you being here then ,it will lead to a big problem .

S - ok ,I understand your situation .Mein nahi aaunga, don't worry .

G- annika ,I've brought some of your favourite food .Baito yahan,kao kuch

She pulled annika to sit beside her and started feeding her  .

A- hmm !! Bahut tasty hai maa .

Savouring it happily she looked at her mother who seemed to be lost somewhere.

A- kya huwa ?(shaking her )

G- plss,return to Delhi annika. What's the necessity for you to stay alone? Plss come with us .

A- Maa ,just few days .Aajaungi phir tumhare paas... fine ?

G- everytime it's your decision which is finalized na ,never listen to us ok?(she scolded)

A- maa ...

G- chodo ,let's not speak about this. Vaise ...I wanted to tell you something.

A- hmm

G- your papa is arranging for your divorce .

A- what ?(shocked )

G- he wants you to divorce shivaay .

After  a long pause .

A- teek hai.

G- matlab?

A- If papa thinks it's good for me to get divorced then ,I'm fine with his decision. (She spoke with null reaction in her face )

G- are you sure ?

A- ji.

Evening

A- papa ,can't you stay here for two more days ?(grumpy face )

M- beta next time ,I'll be with you for a whole month .Now ,give me a smile .

She smiled and pulled him in a hug .

When her parents were about to leave they saw pinky who  had just come there ,

P- hi annika ,don't be late for today's function haan .Gauri pestered me to bring you soon .

Then pinky noticed her parents .

P- ye  log kaun hai annika ?

A- aunty ,they are my parents .

P- ohh my mata ,aap log annika ki mama, papa hai!! Very nice meeting you ,I'm pinky ...annika ki neighbour.

G- ji ,mein gayathri .Muje bhi bahut acha laga aapko dekke.I'm glad that there is someone here with my daughter .Plss take care of annika ,she's very careless ...

P- annika bahut hi achi ladki hai ,aap bilkul jintha mat kijiye .She is my daughter

G- that's so kind of you .

P- actually  there's a function in our house today .I'll be very happy if you come

G- nahi vo ,I'm sorry pinkiji .....but don't worry definitely we will visit your house next time.

P- teek hai.Don't worry about annika ,she's in safe hands  .(hugging annika sideways )

G- thank you so much .And haan ,annika you might have to come to Delhi within sometime. Vo teri divorce...

A- ji maa ,I'll let you know when I'm free.

In shivaay's flat

P- achi family hai ....(she was murmuring to herself )

S- mom? Why are you so late ?you said that you have reached here when I called you ?

P- I had already reached here shivaay ,vo kya haina I  was talking with  annika's parents , pata hai ...bahut ache log hai vo.

S- you met them ?(shocked )

P- haan kyun ?

S- you didn't refer anything about me right?

P- why would I speak about you with them ,

S- thank God!

P- what happened to you  ?

S- no ,nothing .What ...what did they tell?

P- they are very much worried for annika and her life.I think they are planning for her divorce.

S- kya ?(he shouted in shock )

P- why are you shouting shivaay ?

S- what were you saying ?

P- I don't know anything,I just heard annika's mother talking about divorce that's it . Annika jaisi pyaari bachi ke saath ye sab....pata nahi kya bolun.Her husband must really be an unlucky person ,matlab ...how can a person even hurt such a sweet girl like annika?(she spoke to herself while folding the clothes )

Here ,shivaay felt extremely terrible listening to his mother's words.Is annika going to divorce him ? He is ready to do anything to bring his love back into his life ,but divorce is the worst thing which he could ever think of . Is it the end of his love ....his life ?
