Lana vs Buttercup

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLEEEE!!!!!!"

The audience was roaring with cheers as they were ready for tonight's match! And whoever was gonna win this match, would face off against Mabel in the DNCN Championship Match! Tonight, it was gonna be either Lana Loud or Buttercup Utonium who advances to the final match of the year. 

"TONIGHT WILL BE ONE OF THE GREATEST BOXING MATCHES OF ALL TIME! THE CROWD IS ROARING AND READY FOR TONIGHT!!! LANA LOUD AND BUTTERCUP UTONIUM WILL BE BOXING FOR A CHANCE TO ADVANCE TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND AND FACE OFF AGAINST MABEL PINES!! TONIGHT, WE WERE ABLE TO GO BEHIND THE SCENES BEFORE THE MATCH TO SEE WHAT THEY BOTH THINK OF EACH OTHER!!"

The camera then cuts to a gym, with Lana Loud training on the punching bags, hitting them with very good speed. She was wearing a dark blue sports bra to cover her chest, and some dark blue shorts. She also had her long hair tied up into a ponytail, mostly because hats are allowed to be worn during a boxing match. Her boxing gloves were a fusion of blue and brown and had a wrench on it as well. As she was training, there was a reporter there as well, interviewing her.

"Lana Loud, what do you think about Buttercup as an opponent?" He asked as Lana continued to punch the bag.

"Buttercup is a very strong fighter, one of the strongest in the league. But in order to get a good chance at beating her, you have to be quick on your feet and hands. If not, she can hit you from anywhere, and she's pretty fast as well, so don't underestimate her."

Cuts to Buttercup

Meanwhile, Buttercup was in her gym doing bench presses to increase her strength for her fight against Lana Loud. Another reporter was in her gym, interviewing her as well.

"Buttercup Utonium, what do you think of Lana as an opponent?" The reporter asked her. This made Buttercup stop and re rack the bar first before sitting up.

"Lana Loud. I think of her as an unstoppable boxer, almost as good as her sister Lynn Loud. She's fast, strong and can take down anyone when she needs too. I need to increase my strength and speed in order to beat her." Buttercup stated as she flexed her biceps in excitement.

Cuts back to Lana

"So Lana, What's your strategy for your fight against Buttercup tonight?" The reporter asked her.

"My strategy is to use skill over athleticism against her. She likes to use her athleticism in a fight against anyone, and wins most of them. But she has incredible skills as well, and I need to watch out for when she uses her skills. You never know when she can break out into a punching combo." Lana explained as she took a drink from her water bottle.

Cuts back to Buttercup

"What's your strategy against Lana tonight, Buttercup?" The reporter asked her as she gulped down her bottle of water.

"My strategy against her is to use my skill more than my athleticism. I know Lana's fighting style, and she only lost one fight to someone who uses pure athleticism against her. Basically, I can't just use brute strength against her. I have to use my creative fighting moves." Buttercup explained to the reporter as she wiped her forehead with her towel.

Cuts to Lana again

"Any last words for tonight's match Lana?" He finished up with her as she went to leave her gym.

"Give me your all tonight Buttercup!" Lana proudly stated as she puts her fist in front of the camera and taps it before leaving the gym.

Cuts to Buttercup one last time

"Any last words for tonight's match Buttercup?" The reporter asked Buttercup as she was about to leave her gym.

"I'm coming for you Lana! And I'm coming for a match against Mabel!" She proudly finished off as she left her gym as well.

Weigh In

Now at the weigh in, Lana and Buttercup are having their weight taken first and then following up with a couple of boxing poses and photos taken of them posing. They both took glances at each other every once in a while, but they weren't scolding at each other or anything, they were flashing confident looks at each other. Physically, they didn't speak. But mentally, they told each to go their hardest in the match, no holding back at all.

At the fight

"IN THE NORTH CORNER, WITH A RECORD OF 79-1-2! BOXING, OUT OF ROYAL WOODS, MICHIGAN, LANA "THE ROYAL FLUSH" LOUD!!!"

The camera had cut over to where Lana was. She was doing a little stretching and shadow boxing before her fight.

"AND IN THE SOUTH CORNER, WITH A RECORD OF 76-5-1! BOXING, OUT OF TOWNSVILLE, NEW JERSEY, BUTTERCUP "THE GREEN GRAZER" UTONIUM!!!"

The camera then cuts over to Buttercup, who was in the opposite corner that Lana was in. She was doing a little stretching and shadowboxing herself, getting ready for her fight.

After a few minutes, they both were ready for their match. DING DING!!

ROUND 1

They both went over and tapped their fists together, giving off confident looks at each other. Then they backed away and began to go around in a circle, both looking for an opening to attack with. After a few seconds, Buttercup was the first to find an opening and went with a right hook first. Lana saw this and blocked it quickly, which made her have to go on the defensive first. Buttercup continued on with multiple jabs to her guard, trying to break it. But Lana wasn't just blocking it with her arms, she was maneuvering around the jabs as so she wouldn't leave an opening for Buttercup.

ROUND 4

"GAAAHH!!" Was what Lana stated as she got punched in her abs a few times by Buttercup. She had stumbled back a little and was being forced back up against the ropes by Buttercup's punches. That's when she dodged an incoming punch and swung around to use a left hook on Buttercup. It connected, and it made Buttercup stumble away from her, almost losing her balance.

"Oh! And what a counter by The Royal Flush, preventing the Green Grazer from continuing her onslaught!" The main commentator yelled as Lana had moved away from the ropes. The counter had also caused Buttercup to go on the defensive, waiting for any incoming attacks by Lana.

ROUND 7

"OOOOFFF!!" Buttercup had stated as her guard broke from Lana's endless attempts of punching her chest. Lana had been on a hot streak with her hits, and began to punch Buttercup's large chest, making her back up to the ropes. And it seemed that Lana was going to trap her into the corner. Buttercup knew that as well and, seeing an opening on Lana, did a simple right hook in the obliques and abdominal area, making Lana stumble away from her as she grabs her stomach. 

"GAAAHH!!! NOT AGAIN!!!" She exclaimed as she backed up a bit to prevent Buttercup from attacking her any more.

"Oh! And the Green Grazer strikes back! Lana better watch out for those counters!" The commentator yelled out as Lana and Buttercup went back to the center of the ring to continue their fight.

ROUND 10

They both were panting heavily as they were circling around each other, trying to look for an opening. Buttercup then tried to charge at her with a cross to the face, but Lana dodged it. She them tried to go after Buttercup with a swift one two combo, but Buttercup blocked her attacks. They continue to go on back and forth as the seconds wind down in the 10th round of the match. And as Lana went to punch Buttercup, that's when the bell had rang, signaling the end of the round.

DING DING

Lana and Buttercup had stopped fighting and were both sent to their corners, where their seconds were giving them their towels and their bottled waters. They were breathing heavily, this match having the crowd going wild after the first 10 rounds of nothing but hard-fought amazement was being shown to them.

ROUND 12

The final minute of the last round, and both Lana and Buttercup were both on their last leg, literally. Their fight had left them bloodied, bruised, amd brutally injured. The crowd was roaring for both fighters, everyone amazed at what might be the greatest postseason fight in DNCN History!! Everything was on the line now, this was their last chance to either match against Mabel, or go home and start their offseason.

"IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS!!! ONE MINUTE LEFT FOR THE WIN!!! WHO'S GONNA ADVANCE TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH?!?!?! LET'S FIND OUT OURSELVES!!!" The announcer stated proudly as the timer went to 1 minute left in the round. That's when Lana made the first move by trying to go for her face with a 1 2 combo. Buttercup blocked the attempts and went for a jab to her core, which connected and made Lana stumble back from the hit, going on the defensive instantly. Buttercup them went on to throw a barrage of jabs at Lana, trying to hit anywhere on her body. Most of the hits connected and made Lana fall on one knee, the timer going to 30 seconds now. This was her final chance to win, to advance this match and be only one fight away from winning the DNCN Championship Belt!! And so, as it looked like Buttercup was gonna finish her off, she had done the impossible. She dodged that hit and went for Buttercup's core instead. Not expecting her to counter back, Buttercup had left her stomach open for an attack to come at her, and Lana delivered it to her first hand. The hit connected and made Buttercup stumble back herself, giving just enough space to let Lana get up and finish the match. After that, Lana went on the offensive side and began to do her combo of strikes that would hopefully finish Buttercup off. She did a blur of jabs, and to her surprise, Buttercup was blocking all of them. It wasn't until there was 5 seconds left on the clock, that Lana had pulled the greatest move that anyone could have ever done. She went for a jab to the stomach, and she knew Buttercup would go and block it. But instead of going to hit it, she did a pump fake and, with incredible speed, went to punch her in the face instead. She was so fast with it that Buttercup didn't expect it at all and Lana successfully punched her in the face. She used so much force that Buttercup's mouthpiece flew out of her mouth and she did a 180 spin before falling on the floor, with no chance of getting up. The ref went over to look at her and saw that her eyes was closed and she was breathing slowly. He then went over to Lana, who was breathing slowly as well, and raised her arm up.

"WINNER BY KNOCKOUT!! LANA "THE ROYAL FLUSH" LOUD!!!!" He stated, sending the crowd and the commentators into absolute chaos, filled with screams and cheers of the match that Lana just finished. Even though her face looked badly injured, she was still shown smiling as the crowd was still going nuts. The commentators were yelling back and forth about the amazing match. And in all of this, Lana had taken off her gloves and went over to Buttercup, who had her gloves taken off as well as she was being helped up by her trainers and her assistants.

"Thank you, for this amazing match Buttercup." Lana spoke to her as she held out her hand to shake. Even though Buttercup was brutally injured, she showed no hesitation in grabbing Lana's hand to shake it as well.

"I'm glad we both went all out. This was the best fight I've ever been in my entire life." Buttercup had told her back as they both shook hands and flashed their smiles at each other. They both knew that this was the start of a great friendship together.
