Official Tip #6 - Up and on Display

So what I've learned throughout my years [16 to be exact] that it takes a lot of practice to do what you love. Most of you reading this book know just as well as I do, that hopefully by reading this you will achieve that. I believe you will like all of these lovely people who have participated in my Cover Contests book:

Keerthana19

Kingsheri

Emotions_Revealed

Stormy_HS

Now I'm not saying to do this now, but I think when you believe you are ready to put your work up I think you should be part of a cover contest. I'm not even saying to be part of mine, [i kinda am]  you can be part of anyone's!

Believe me it's sooooo much fun! I have to admit, I've lost a few contests myself but it makes it so much worth it when you actually win.

I'm just any other wattpader, who also isn't perfect but I encourage you to put your work up against some one else's. I know you can do it! If you've made it this far in my book then just do it...you never know if your work could get noticed!

[Hopefully one day if my book teaches you a lot I could become a Wattpad ambassador😉]

A/N: Story Time!

When I was 10 years old I signed up for a Christmas Drawing Contest. I was so nervous because I thought I wasn't good enough. If you won you would receive a $500 check and your drawing would be displayed throughout the state that I live in during Christmas. So obviously I wanted to do a good job. Kids in schools across the state competed and when it came time to have one kid to represent my school, I became nervous.

There was this girl in my grade that always represented my school, and deep down I knew she would win because she was really good. But no matter what I thought, I pushed myself and worked on my drawing for three weeks straight; and when I found out that my drawing would represent my school I couldn't contain my excitement.

It felt so good to beat that girl in my school, but then I had to compete against many others in the state finals. To make a long story short, I won second against 50 others.

Even though I didn't win first place, it still felt good to prove myself.

It ended up that the girl who won actually had her parents do it, which wasn't completely fair but I soon got over it. (Not really, I'm still kinda pissed)

So once you prove yourself, maybe just even to yourself that you can achieve what you've always wanted it may actually come true. I've been making art for as long as I can remember, and like I've said before its gonna take some practice, but don't worry I know you can do it.

Hope you liked it!

As always,
