Mitti

Nandalala Krishna
Made Yashodha's heart boil
When one day, quietly
He filled his mouth with soil.

There he was, Krishna.
On the banks of Yamuna.
While at it washing clothes,
Was an oblivious Yashoda

She beat and beat her drapings,
On the rocks. She beat it as a snake.
Why our Nandalala
Eating Dharti's soil.
How much his mouth can take?

"Krishna, Kanhaiya!" She caught him in his act.
"Lala why you have eaten soil? You are full of mischief and tact."
"I haven't, maiya. I haven't."
"Well Laala open wide.."
But this had boiled her heart and mind,
When she looked inside.

Krishna's mouth held the universe!
Billions of stars!
Planets, stardust, comets more.
The Brahmanda from afar.
There is SuryaMandala
There is Prithvi, Chandra lok
All that was perfectly described,
In the sacred slok.

Krishna has his marvel,
To reveal ultimate truth.
Questionable feats,
He started in his youth.
He is Radha Ramana.
Brij ki makkhan chor
He is a great guide to Arjuna
During Kurukshetra war.
