Sana rubbed both hands on her eyes. She stretched herself as she walked down the staircase still on her short and fitted night wear. She'd battled the whole night of having herself making advances to her ex wife in her dreams. For months since their divorce,  it'd been like that. It annoyed her that she was she was the only one playing the lover girl's game and getting hooked. As she got finally out of the staircase,  her eyes widened.

"O- oh",  she stuttered unsure of what to say.

"Surprise huh?" Marilyn, Tzuyu's mother said making Sana turn to her with a light smile though flummoxed. 

The family morning table had taken her by surprise, she regretted why she hadn't worn something more comfortable and less showy as her nightie.

"Happy new years my love",  Marilyn said as she approached the young lady who stood somewhat afar off the table, " i must confess Sana, you're just so beautiful ".

Sana smiled and her eyes soon wondered around the large table in search of the one person that meant the world to her. There she was, eating her Thai prawn fish soup like her life depended on it. Tzuyu didn't take a second to glance at her despite her conversation with her mother. It made her a little hurt.

Even her exposure wouldn't get her to stare.

There's nothing to be ashamed of, she's seen me in and out.

Sighing at reality,  she shook her head off her thoughts as laughter roared among them all, except Tzuyu who kept eating calmly like she was the only one present.

"Come to the table Darling",  Marilyn ushered her. Sana had no choice rather than to oblige to the beautiful woman's request.

Sana sat down in between Teresa, her grandmother and Robin, her grandfather. She was positioned in front of the only girl that drives her crazy. But she was still eating! The family continued to eat, dine and wine, they talked on as all they said made no impact towards the young lady.

The urge to leave build firmly in her. She wished she hadn't walked out of her room.

Her eyes stole momentary gaze at the beautiful siren before her until a piece of meat had jerked on her lips, making her lick her lips. This act made Sana uncomfortable, she could remember how power Tzuyu was in her tongue techniques.

Tzuyu stopped eating and took a short glance over at Sana. She'd looked away quickly and eyes glued back to her food.

Sana blushed really hard.

" Well, everyone,  happy new year" Reyrox, Sana's father greeted.

"Happy new year son"

"Happy new year dad!"

"Happy new year sir!"

"Happy new year bud"

Were all the replies he'd gotten simultaneously in response to his greetings.

"Thanks",  he said and smiled. "Well, I and Mr Chou had called for a meeting last night. You know,  it's been like six months of pure work and stuff. We have no time for each other and now, my bud and I have planned to make this month strictly ours. No 'nos' ". Reyrox said making everyone confused.

Tzuyu had her head low eating, listening and praying it wasn't going towards the lane of her thoughts.

"So we've planned to spend the holidays together, we'll all have to spend this holiday at Mr Chou's house",  Reyrox added making both Sana and Tzuyu shocked.

The rest seemed happy as they jubilated.

Was this some expensive joke? Tzuyu thought and stopped eating. She picked up the napkin before her and used it.

Pulling the chair backwards,  Tzuyu got up to move to the living room.

" Tzuyu, were to?" Her grandmother asked.

"Over to the couch"

"Why?" Chung, Tzuyu's grandfather asked,"don't you like the food?" He furthered asked.

Tzuyu smiled at her grandparents,  "the food's good.",  her eyes met Sana's. She slowly looked back at her grandparents.

" I only lost my appetite ".
