Chapter one : A little bit of space.
Shallow lights flickered across Galvin's window. The little boy had been struggling to sleep; taking turns on side, here and there. Groaning became a language as all he tried to do to drift into a deep sleep, proved abortive.
Soon, a seem-to-be high pitch and the most cheerful sounds of laughter, cascaded throughout his whole room. The voices sounded happy.
They are still awake? Then why am i struggling to fall asleep?
The little boy thought and jolted out of his king sized bed, turning off the Christmas song that he'd played and hoped it played the lullaby role. Though it failed, he wasn't interested to listen any further. With a quick stum-out, he got to the living room only to meet his sisters watching a holiday series. He sighed and walked out of the last step.
"I though you both were fast asleep", he begun, making both ladies turn backwards, giving him a momentary glare.
" Nope, not when January 1st 2020, says today it is" Alice, the blonde haired teenager said while keeping a keen look at the TV.
"Huh?", Galvin muttered and folded his lips, " right. Where is mom, dad, grandpa and grandma?". He furthered asked.
Handling a bucket of popcorn, Galvin watched as Alice threw a bunch into her mouth. He was interrupted when Rosemary spoke up.
"They're off to gwarts. You know gwarts right? The biggest shopping mall in Texas", Rosemary, the second child of the Minatozaki announced to the little boy's dismay.
"And what are you still doing up by this hour of the clock?" Rosemary asked, eyes now graced the TV screen.
Galvin sighed and walked up to one of the couch and sat comfortably holding his tab as he began to operate the device. "I guess insomnia visited". He deadpanned.
"Seriously?" Alice inquired, eyes still glued to the TV screen.
Galvin nodded his head, "seriously".
Rosemary shrugged and was about to say something when a red button had sounded.
"Sana did that!"
"She's back!"
"Yay!"
The three siblings left everything they were doing and ran upstairs to Galvin's room. His room was a better view to the large estate and it's beauty. It was like a culture for the three of them to always run up to his room in order to see who'd dropped their sister off. All this have been going on for years without Sana noticing.
"Woah! Is that Taehyung from the marshmallow firm?!" Alice whispered yelled almost combusting. "Oh please, let it not be him or I'll cry".
Both Galvin, Rosemary and BJ, Galvin's dog had sighed in unison. They could tell how much Alice rooted over the young flourishing business man named Kim Taehyung. His beautiful looks and attractive features had secured a sensitive part in Alice's heart.
"Please, Not. Not. ot. Not"
"Ugh", Rosemary had enough and growled, "can you just shut up?"
The dark haired turned off the car engine, swiftly looking at the beautiful lady beside him.
"Thank you", Sana said and got off the car.
Having his plans all designed, he brought out her wrist watch and quickly got off his car, "Sana", he called on her.
Sana who had been so stressed out from the day's activity turned to look at the cheerful smile plastered on this young man's face as he waved her wrist watch. That was a gift she would always cherish. It was a gift that her ex wife had bought for her on her birthday. Somehow, out of all things that reminds her of her ex, she'd couldn't recon why the wrist watch seemed so precious. There were times she would purposely leave it in places she went but, she most of the times, she found herself going back to get it. Other times, people get to return it back to her.
"You forgot it last night in your office", The young man said.
Sana smiled and walked back to where he was, " you're so kind Taehyung. Thank you for returning it", she said wholeheartedly, though exhausted, she still tried to look stable.
"Omg!!! It's taetae! Oh em gee!" Alice went about the room, fangirling. She rolled on Galvin's bedsheets. The little boy watched at his sister with growls. He'd arranged the bed before leaving and now, Alice was arranging his bed, her way.
"How interesting" Rosemary said as it only attracted the attention of Alice and Galvin, making them return back to the window.
"Thank you Taehyung", Sana said and watched as the young handsome man wore her her wrist watch and smiled charmingly at her.
"You're welcome my fair lady", he said making the lady in black cooperative suit and skirt blush hard. Now, how about a mixture of black and red. Cool. We call it Blackred.
Without easy steps, Taehyung approached Sana. When he'd gotten close to her, he pulled the strides of her hair sideways making their eyes meet. The air was so cool and pleasurable. Taehyung couldn't get his eyes off the young lady's lips. He'd always aimed for it and probably the night seemed the perfect one.
Slowly, both closed their eyes, seizing their breathes and giving out long inhalations as they drew closer to each other.
Alice almost flinched and panicked.
" Like i knew this was gonna happen someday", Rosemary mocked and grinned evily.
"Are they gonna kiss? No please. Mother nature curse the rain to fall". Alice caused a nuisance as they all watched in anticipation.
Sana drew closer to Taehyung, having her eloquent and curvy body pressed on his firm own. He'd held her like he owned her. Both, from afar, seemed like true lovers who wanted to take things slowly.
Alice had both her hands together. Rosemary never seized to grin. Galvin held on tight to his puppy who watched from the fairly opened louvres.
Taehyung was almost getting his long awaited desires met when Sana placed a finger on his lips. Her eyes flickered open. "I'm sorry for the inconveniences", she deadpanned and stepped backwards making Alice sigh.
"Thank goodness", Alice said and fell on the bed.
"Yay! They didn't kiss! Woohoo! Tzuyu wins always!" Galvin had screamed making Alice jolt up from the bed at how loud he'd seemed. Rosemary felt like she would go crazy. Without wasting time, she covered his mouth and sighed on knowing that both hadn't notice. Just then, BJ barked victoriously.
"Oh no" Rosemary growled and quickly closed the windows.
Taehyung heard the sound of a dog bark but just as he was about to look, the window was closed. He turned to her smiling still. "Happy first 22" he said everyone's usual slang in Texas as relatively attached to the new year. Sana watched as he drove off the estate and then, she smiled to herself.
Well if you ask her, 2020 would be a beautiful year, even without the presence of her ex.
