CHAPTER FORTY-NINE: YOUR DAUGHTER

"Discipline. That's what you need to learn" Diego said to Stan as they were walking through the hotel hallways "When I was your age, I was up at dawn, all right? I was training, honing my skills. The biggest thing" Diego said before he stopped in the middle of the hallway, turning Stan to him "I was becoming a real man" he said "Right. Is that why you wear those tight pants?" Stan asked.

Then the door to the bathroom opened and Lila stepped out "Lila" Diego said as he walked over to her "Hmm?" Lila asked "You need to take this kid with you" he said as he pointed back at Stan.

But then Five walked out of the bathroom with a briefcase in each hand and with you next to him.

"The hell were you doing in there?" Diego asked him "Bathing" Lila answered "Together?" Diego asked before he looked at you and Five "Are you two trying a threesome now?" he asked "NO" you snapped "Really Five, you are going down with Y/n and then her sister. Both of them, that is a little weird" Diego said.

"Oh, okay" Five said as he rolled his eyes "Diego, we don't have time for this. Lila, Y/n and I have got some important shit to do" he said before you and Five walked passed Stan and Lila followed after the two of you "Wait. What's more important than family?" Diego asked as he walked after the three of you with Stan behind him "End of the world, genius" Five said as you walked down the hall.

Five stopped in front of the elevator and he sat the briefcases down for a moment to press the button "Lila?" Diego asked as he grabbed her arm "What's more important than us?" he asked "There is no us, Diego" she said before the sound of the elevator bell dinged and Five picked up the briefcases as the door to the elevator opened before you and Five stepped into the elevator.

"I'm actually surprise that you didn't ran away" he said "Well, you kinda drag me into this again" you said "You're right. You know me so well" he smiled "And I hate you so much" you said "I know. Hate you too" you glanced at each other before smiling.

"Come here" Diego said dragging Lila closer to him "What do you mean?" Diego asked her "Look, for you, it's been a couple days. For me, it has been over a decade. I've moved on. I've slept with many, many people. Many. The only relationship we have left is the one with our child. So you better not screw that up" she said before she turned around and walked into the elevator where you and Five was waiting.

"Wait! What am I supposed to do with him, huh? I got important shit going on too!" Diego shouted "I doubt that. Figure it out, Diego. Be a dad" Lila said before the elevator's doors closed.

"How many is 'many people'?" Diego asked "Way more than you, Papi" Stan said and Diego glanced at Stan causing Stan to let out a gasp before he bolted off down the hallway as Diego chased after him.

You, Five and Lila agree to meet up in an hour because Lila need to change clothes and Five need to find something better to wear.

"I have told and paid the tailor in the lobby to find something better for you to wear" you said "Why so nice all of a sudden?" he asked "What do you mean?" you asked "Is just, it have being a long time since you ever gave me something" he said and he thought back to that time you gave him the wrist watch that he is still wearing.

"I'm not giving you shit, I thought that maybe you want something else than wearing that old man outfit" you gestured to his clothes "What is wrong with my clothes?" he asked "You look like an old guy" you replied "That is what I am" he smiled "If anyone is old here it's me" you both chuckled.

"Maybe that would be best to find something else" he said before blinking away.

You turned around but then the door opened "Back already---" you stop yourself when you saw Kayla "Hey mom" she smiled "Hey Sweetheart, what are you doing here?" you asked "What do you mean" she tilted her head "Is just you can't be here right now" you said "Why not?" she asked confuse.

"Listen, you need to go back to the Academy" you said "What is wrong?" she asked.

"I found out that the Umbrellas are here" you said and her eyes widened "What?" she asked and you nodded "Therefore you need to go before you get hurt" you said "What about you?" she asked "I can handle myself" you said.

"Mom, you have taught me everything you know, beside if they are here, then it means that Marcus is too" she said "They are not stupid enough to have him here, but I need you to leave" you said as you push her towards the door.

"Why? What is---"

The door opened and Five enter which cause all three of you to widened your eyes while your bodies froze.

"You" Five and Kayla hissed "What the fuck are you doing here?" Kayla clenched her fist "I could ask you the same" Five said.

"Where is Marcus?" Kayla asked "I don't know" Five said but Kayla swung a kick at him causing him to stumble back.

"Alright, ready for a rematch" Five said before he jumped up in air, swinging two kicks at her face, but she bent backwards, dodging his legs.

He spun around again, swinging a kick at her, hitting her in the face.

She swung her fist at him just as he swung his fist at her and they started punching each other.

Five threw a punch at her but she ducked down before she grabbed his shoulder and she give him a knee in the face.

He threw another punch at her but she swung a kick at him, hitting him in the face.

He put his hand on the floor and swung his leg towards her, trying to hit her knee, but she dodged it.

He got up and swung a punch at her but she block it with her arm but then he kicked her in the stomach causing them both to stumble backwards.

"GUYS STOP IT!" you shouted but they didn't listen, they just kept fighting.

"Getting tired?" Five asked "I can do this all day" Kayla smiled.

Kayla and Fives blinked towards each other, but then a bright blue light appeared in between them, knocking them off their feet.

It was like they were push back by each other's powers causing them to fell back on the floor.

The two got up and charge towards each other "STOP IT!" you shouted before going in between them and used your powers to push them both back so they fell on the floor again.

"I said 'Stop'" you said "What? He is the enemy, mom" Kayla said as she got up "Mom'?" Five asked confused as he got up too.

"Y/n is your mom" Five looked at Kayla before looking at you "You have a daughter?" he asked "Yeah, she my mom" Kayla said "Adopted?" Five asked "No" you and Kayla shook your heads "By blood. How do you know her?" Kayla asked.

"Wait a minute" Five glanced between you and Kayla as he tried to put some puzzles together.

"We need to talk" Five looked at you "Like I would let you alone with my mom" Kayla hissed "Kid, this is an adult talk" Five said "I'm eighteen, I'm an adult, asshole" Kayla hissed.

"Kayla. Sweetheart, give me a minute with this guy okay. I know him and he know me" you said "How?" Kayla asked "We go way back" you glanced at Five before looking back at your daughter.

"Don't worry, he is not gonna hurt me. He knows how powerful I am and that I can snap his neck like a twig" you said before you looked at Five "Fine I will be at the Academy" Kayla said before blinking away.

"Is she really your daughter by blood?" Five asked and you nodded "I'm not surprise, she is like you" he said "And she looks like her dad" you smiled "Who is her father?" he asked a little hurt that you have being with someone else while you have being the only woman he have ever being with. He was a hurt that you have moved on and had created a family of your own with someone else, when he never moved on and you have always being the one he wanted a life and a family with.    

"I haven't being with anyone else than you Five" you said "I don't believe you" he said "Come on Five. I never lied to you when it is something about this. Think. She looks like you. She even have your powers. Wouldn't it be weird if she was someone else's. Beside what can happen when you have unprotected sex with someone?" his eyes widened "But the last time we---" "Yeah, in Dallas" you nodded as you both thought back to those times you slept together in Dallas in 63'.

One time when you were both 'drunk' and that time where Five came to you to help him with his other self, you started arguing before you had sex again, more than once, and none of you didn't use any protection all those times you did it in Dallas which mean that you got pregnant one of those times, either Five knock you up that time after the gala where you were both 'drunk' or those times after your argument before Five went to go find his other self.

"That is the consequences of unprotected sex with you which I'm not mad about" you said "So she is mine?" he asked and you nodded "She is your biological daughter" you smiled.

"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked "I didn't knew how" you said "How is that even possible? How is she so young? " he asked.

"After you left, I was in an accident, Reginald found me and put me in a coma to save my life. I was in a coma for over three decades. Because I was so early into the pregnancy. He was able to put the pregnancy on a pause while I was in a coma. I woke up in 2000. Where Reginald beg me to stay and help train his kids. I first refuse. But then I found out that I was pregnant. I asked Reginald about it and he told me that the doctors found out that I was pregnant and I knew that the only person I have being with was you, and that makes me think about all those times we did it back in Dallas. So Reginald saved my life. He saved me, saved Kayla" you said and Five looked down.

"If it hasn't being for him, I would have being dead, our daughter would have being dead before she was even born. Therefore I owe Reginald so much" you said and he looked back at you.

"Does she know?" he asked and you shook your head "No. But I promise you that the plan was that when you came back I would tell you. But after finding that Reginald have adopted the Sparrows instead of you and your siblings. I had a feeling that this version of you didn't exist anymore. So I never told her or anyone else who her real dad was" you said and he looked down.

"Say something" you said and he looked back at you "Are Reginald her adopt---" "NO" you shook your head "I never let him get so close to her, knowing what he did to you and your siblings when you were kids. But she sees the Sparrows as her siblings 'cause they are the only ones that didn't treat her like a freak. They are the only ones that are like her" you said.

"I have to talk to her" he turned around but you grab his arm "No" you said "What?" he hissed "You can't keep me away from my own daughter" he snapped.

"I'm not. But she spend eighteen years thinking that her dad was dead" you said "Why would you say I was dead?" he asked "It was better than explaining the truth" you said.

"I still want to talk to her" he said "Which will have to wait, right now she sees you as an enemy, the people that attack her and her friends, the people that kidnapped her friend. Wait till after you have figure this out, one problem at the time. And when you have fix this, I promise you that I wouldn't stop you from talking to her. When you have figure this out and returned from your trip, the three of us are having a talk" you said and he looked at you.

"I'm sorry for not telling you right away, I just didn't knew how to tell you" you said "No, I get it" he nodded.

"But I'm glad you finally told me, now it's making this goal far more important for me 'cause I have more to fight for now" he said before he grab your hand "When we have stop this and I had returned, the three of us are having a talk, and maybe the two of us can start all over?" he asked "Maybe" you said and he smiled.

"Well, she is beautiful like her mom" he said "But have your personality. Stubborn like us" you both chuckled "I can't wait to get to know her more" he said "And you will, I promise" you said "Then let's go meet Lila so we can figure this out" he said and you nodded.

A/N: So Five knows now that Kayla is his daughter.
