Jungkook stared at Y/n who was just walking ahead of her wearing the heels he gave to her, making her smile a little.

“Let's be honest, what Taehyung did is something you and I both wanted to do for years right?” Jungkook exclaimed. Y/n looked at him and chuckled.

“Kinda. I wasn't mad at Taehyung for doing that, but seeing his face and his psychotic look made me scared and worried." Y/n exclaimed. "But I am glad that now I don't have to see her. Even if she asks me, I will not gonna see her. So happy that I am free.” Y/n exclaimed. Of course she felt hurt by his mother, it fcking hurts to know she can't even have a good relationship with her mother. But now she can just focus on her kids.

“Can I keep Jun over tonight?” Y/n asked.

“You can keep his father too, I am free with him.” Jungkook said with a smile. Making Y/n roll her eyes jokely.

“No, thanks. I just want my baby.” Y/n said.

“I am your baby boy too, right?” Jungkook exclaimed.

She stopped as her feet were hurting now, she couldn't stand and she held the wall.

“Are you okay?” Jungkook asked.

“Just your things hurt me.” she mumbled wearing the heels was a wrong decision.

He looked at her heels, and realized that it must be her. “Come I will lift you up,”

“No, don't.” Y/n said and started taking off her heels. Jungkook then took off his shoes and told her to wear them.

“Wear these,” He held her heels in his hands.

“I will not,” She said.

“Then I will lift you up, you choose which one.” Jungkook exclaimed. She stared at him and she wore his shoes.

“What about you? You're gonna walk barefoot?” She asked.

“Don’t worry about me,” Jungkook replied.

Y/n was going back home from work, she was leaving her company building.

As Y/n struggled to pull her head out of the closing door, a sharp pain shot through her, causing her to wince. Her hand started bleeding.

Just in the nick of time, Taehyung, who had been discreetly watching from a distance, rushed over to assist her.

Concern etched on his face, he carefully examined her injury. "You should be more careful, Y/n," he remarked, genuinely worried.

Perplexed, Y/n questioned, "Why are you always following me, Taehyung? I told you not to."

With a faint blush on his cheeks, Taehyung admitted, "If I wasn't, who would be there to help you when you get hurt?"

“I can help myself." She said,

“You can't, come on.'' He took her back to the building and asked the staff to bring him first aid.

As he started to tend to her wound. He could help but think how he got skilled at first aid because of hurting Y/n. This wound was not given to him by her but it was still hurting him.

Her future and past wounds will haunt him forever.

“Taehyung you need to stop now, I will report you.” She said, Making Taehyung chuckled.

“Don't take my reason to live away from me.” He mumbled. “You have a date today that is why I came here. Now come before we get late.”

“A date?” She asked as he held her hand and made her stand up.

He brings her to a restaurant, she doesn't know why she followed him, maybe because of yesterday. She then saw Jin

“Really Taehyung? I said I don't want to date.” She said,

“You are not dating him, you are just gonna pretend. Now come, he agreed too.” Taehyung said.

She came and sat with Jin, who smiled gently as they talked. “I do want Jungkook to learn his lesson, the last time he gave up on himself and was acting like a jerk by calling you and mom both by names.”

“But what if he did that again?” She asked.

“Then what? I am here honey, you can come back to me.” Taehyung said as a joke, Even he knows he can't have her. “Or I can k’ll him if he dared to hurt you again.”

“Then just leave, he doesn't deserve you.” Jin exclaimed.

Jungkook was out with his business partner and he was surprised to see Y/n with Jin in a restaurant. He couldn't go and join them because he was with his other people but now he couldn't stop thinking.

Jungkook was looking stressed and was still thinking about Jin and Y/n. How can y/n move on while he is still stuck and wants to remain stuck.

He tried so much to forget Y/n, and find another mom for Junseok. But he wasn't able to forget her for even a minute.

And he knows he will not be able to forget her or move on from her.

Jungkook's assistant hesitated as she conveyed Hyori's presence. "Mr. Jeon, Hyori is here and insists on seeing you. What should I tell her?"

Jungkook has always been clear about his intentions to every woman but in some way he misled Hyori and gave her hope.

Hyori was feeding him lies about Y/n for years and manipulated Jungkook into believing she is the only one Jungkook can trust and believe.

Jungkook, his expression serious, replied firmly, "Do not let her inside. I told you to send her back an hour ago.”

“I didn't, but she didn't go away.” His assistant replied.

Jungkook decided to call Taehyung and told him to take his sister away who keeps bothering Jungkook.

As Jungkook disconnected the call, he sighed, muttering to himself, "This is getting out of hand."

Meanwhile, Taehyung arrived at the office building and Taehyung approached Hyori, who was waiting impatiently. "Hyori,”

She looked at him with her red eyes, they looked insane. Taehyung felt a little sad and pitiful for Hyori. “Let's go home.” he began, trying to maintain a calm demeanor.

Her eyes narrowed with intensity. "Why won't he see me, Taehyung? I need to talk to him!"

Taehyung sighed, "It's not the right time,  you can't just show up like this."

Hyori's frustration escalated. "I don't care! I love him, and he needs to know!"

Taehyung, choosing his words carefully, responded, "Hyori, this isn't the way. You have to respect his boundaries. Let me help you through this, but we can't force him."

Despite Taehyung's attempts at reasoning, Hyori's fixation on Jungkook only intensified. "I can't help it. I love him too much to stay away. He always used me, and left me. I don't want him to stop, he can still use me. I want him to use me.”

“Don't be ridiculous. Come home.” He held her arm, and pulled him closer, wrapping his arms around her. He tried to understand her, she is his younger sister and he loves her and cares for her.

“Please, please, you love Y/n right? Take her from Jungkook, please he will come to me if you do, he will love me.” Hyori exclaimed.

“I let her go, you should too.” Taehyung said. Hyori shook her head.

“I always watched her in envy, why did she get Jungkook's love? Not me? She doesn't love him even half as much as I do,” She asked. Taehyung tried to ignore her words, as she continued. “I will not let them be happy if I can't be happy, I will not, Jungkook is my everything she took my everything I will take her everything I will k!ll Junseok and Eunae-”

“STOP WITH YOU NONSENSE HYORI! THIS IS ENOUGH OKAY!” Taehyung exclaimed. “Fcking stop thinking like that, and don't even dare think of hurting her or her kids. To hurt her you have to hurt me first, Hyori. Because I will never let you harm her.”

“No one can harm her but you can do whatever the fck you want with her right? Fcking hypocrite.”.

Jungkook and Junseok strolled hand in hand towards Jungkook's mother's house, the autumn breeze rustling the leaves around them.

Junseok, with his bright eyes and infectious giggle, was telling Jungkook about the sleepover he had with Y/n

"And then, Mama made the best cookie ever, and we watched a funny movie together! She can't cook but her baking is good," Junseok exclaimed, excitement radiating from him.

Jungkook smiled at his son's enthusiasm but couldn't help feeling a pang of jealousy. "Sounds great, buddy. Maybe next time, I should join the sleepover too."

Junseok burst into laughter. "Dad, there was no place for you on Mama's bed, Eunae and I can fit, you're too big for mom’s bed!"

“Hmm, only I belong on her bed okay?” Jungkook said.

“No, me and Eunae.” Junseok giggled. “Can I sleepover at her house again?”

Jungkook nodded his head. “Of course you can,”

As they reached the doorstep, Jungkook's mother greeted them with a warm hug.

However, she dropped a surprising piece of news.

"Jin is getting married," she announced with a twinkle in her eye.

Jungkook's eyes widened, and a wide grin spread across his face. "Really? Jin Hyung is finally tying the knot? That's amazing news!"

Junseok joined in the excitement, cheering, "Yay, Uncle Jin!"

Jungkook saw Jin and smiled at him. “That's great Hyung, who are you getting married to?”

“He is marrying mom!” Junseok exclaimed. Jungkook frowned.

“You say ridiculous things sometimes Junseok,”. Jungkook mumbled. “Mom? Who is the girl?”

“Do you want to come over to dinner with her today?” His mother asked.

“Hmm, yeah, I think I can.”

Jungkook sat at the dinner table, with his mother and Jin. “She is here,” Jin mumbled.

The atmosphere was lively until a familiar face entered the restaurant, Y/n, Stunned, Jungkook couldn't believe his eyes.

"Is this some kind of joke?" he asked, turning to Jin and his mother, hoping for a different answer.

Jin grinned, glancing at Y/n. "No joke, Jungkook. In fact, I've been wanting to tell you something." He took Y/n's hand, a gleam of excitement in his eyes. "I asked her to marry me, and she said yes."

Jungkook's heart sank. He looked from Jin to Y/n, struggling to process the unexpected turn of events. "You're getting married?" he stammered.

Jungkook questioned, "Is this a prank or something?"

Jin shook his head. "No prank, Y/n. I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

“Y/n, is this a prank? You are faking right? Because there is no way you are marrying someone.” Jungkook exclaimed.

“I am not faking. Jin is really nice, so why not?” She said,

“Y/n, I know I made mistakes but we deserve a second chance right? Please honey, no way this can be real. I want o
To be with you, and think about kids.” Jungkook exclaimed.

“I am thinking about them, they will be near you too. And Jun already liked Jin, so will Eunae.” She said, making Jungkook believe it's real.

Jungkook's disbelief turned into heartbreak as reality sank in. He excused himself from the table, unable to bear witnessing the union of his love and his step brother.

__

Jungkook's eyes welled up with tears as he confronted his mother. "Mom, why do you want Jin Hyung to marry Y/n after knowing everything?" he questioned, his voice trembling with a mix of confusion and desperation.

His mother looked at him with a gentle yet determined expression. "Jungkook, I believe Jin would bring stability and happiness to her family.”

“What about me? I am your son, not him!” Jungkook exclaimed.

“I know but I raised Jin, he really is an amazing person.”

“Why didn't you raise me huh? Why did you leave me? I would have been a better person too if you took care of me.” Jungkook said. Jungkook doesn't forget his father or the sacrifices his father made for him, but he still wonders if he had lived with his mother, he wouldn't have a harsh childhood, he doesn't have to suffer all his life for money, and stability.

“I wouldn't hate you Mom, I wouldn't disrespect you or Y/n. I would be perfect like Hyung too, if I had a perfect life and parents like him. Does I not deserve to be with the love of my life just because I was imperfect? I am trying mom,” Jungkook added.

“It's easy to put the blame on others. Having a harsh childhood doesn't give you a free pass to do whatever you want.” His mother replied.

“I am not asking for that, I swear I will treat her even better than before, I gave my 100 percent before and now I will give double than that. And how can Jin Hyung marry her? Does he even know what Y/n likes or dislikes? Does he know she doesn't prefer salt in most things, she loves coffees but does he know which type of coffee she drinks? Does he know-”

“Jungkook, he will learn, like you did.”

Jungkook couldn't hold back the pain in his heart. "But Mom, I still love Y/n. I can't bear the thought of her being with someone else," he confessed, tears streaming down his cheeks.

His mother softened, realizing the depth of her son's emotions. "Jungkook, love is complicated. It's Y/n's decision to make. She deserves the freedom to choose her own path."

Unable to contain his emotions, Jungkook broke down, his shoulders shaking with sobs. "I can't let her go, Mom. I really love Y/n, and I want to be with her. I can make her happy, I know I can."

His mother approached him, wrapping her arms around him in a comforting embrace. "Jungkook, love isn't about possession. It's about understanding and respecting the other person's feelings. You need to talk to Y/n and let her decide what's best for her."

Wiping away his tears, Jungkook nodded, determined to express his feelings to Y/n. "I'll talk to her, Mom. I just... I want her to know how much I love her.”

His mother sighed, realizing the complexity of the situation. "Love isn't always easy, Jungkook. Be honest with Y/n, but respect her choices. It's the only way to truly find happiness for both of you.”
