Jungkook stood by the big window in his fancy New York Building.

In Korea he didn't have the freedom, he was blocked by all good companies but here there was no one who could stop him, and  He worked really hard, and in just five years, he became a billionaire he made all by himself.

He took a sip of his coffee, while the girl‘s piercing screams echoed off the walls.

“Assh*le stop ignoring me.” She exclaimed.

Jungkook stood there, no caring about her at all. She can scream at him all she wants he doesn't care.

"Why are you calling me an asshole?" Jungkook questioned.

“Because you told my husband I slept with you!” She exclaimed.

“I didn't tell him, I apologized to him, why didn't you inform me that you were married before? If I had know I wouldn’t have slept with you,” He exclaimed.

“You ruin my marriage, he wants to divorce me now!” She exclaimed.

“You ruined your marriage, Your husband deserved to know the truth." He replied.

She scoffed, hands on her hips. "Deserved to know the truth? How could you? Why did you have to tell him about us?"

Jungkook sighed, Maybe you should've mentioned you had a husband before things went that far. I don't like women who cheat, and he deserved to know."

"You had no right to interfere! This was between us!"

Jungkook's gaze hardened. "No right? If you had been honest, none of this would have happened. I won't apologize for doing what I believe is right."

“You have to marry me now,” she said, and he chuckled.

“Marry you?” He turned to her and laugh, “Look Amelia just because I slept with you once or twice don't mean we were something,”

“My name is Alyssa!” She exclaimed.

“I don't even care what your name is, why you think I would be interested in marrying a cheater like you? Leave my office.” He said.

“I will not,” she exclaimed.

“Security!” Jungkook exclaimed and the guards came inside. The girl looked at Jungkook before storming out, of his office.

Jungkook stepped out of his modern office building,His assistant, Sarah, hurriedly caught up with him.

"Mr. Jeon, your evening meeting is confirmed," she informed, her tablet in hand.

Jungkook nodded, adjusting the collar of his tailored suit. "Alright, Sarah. Make sure everything is in order. I'll be there."

“You got an email in you old account, do you want to check?” She asked. He knows it's Y/n, she is the only one who has his old email and she emails him asking about Junseok there.

Because Jungkook cut all the connections with her.

He ignored his assistant. As he strolled towards his luxury car, Sarah hesitated before asking, "Are you heading back to Korea tomorrow, sir?"

"Yes, I am.” he replied.

“Okay, I will confirm all the booking,” she exclaimed.

He sat in his car. The car glided to a stop in front of a prestigious private school. Jungkook stepped out, greeted by the
who held guard the door open for him.

He made his way through the elegant corridors, familiar faces acknowledging him with nods and smiles.

As he spotted Junseok, Jungkook's face lit up, the stresses of the day melting away in an instant.

Junseok noticed him and grinned, his eyes lighting up with the unique connection they shared.

"Hey, Dad!" Junseok exclaimed, embracing Jungkook in a tight hug.

"Hey, champ," Jungkook replied, ruffling Junseok's hair affectionately. "Ready to roll?"

Junseok nodded eagerly, and the two headed towards the waiting car. Junseok talked about his day and shared stories and then asked Jungkook, “We are going to Korea?” He asked

And Jungkook nodded his head. “So that means we will meet grandma!”

Junseok had been in touch with his mother and Jin, and they visited Jungkook whenever they came to New York. Jungkook nodded his head.

“And we will visit mom’s grave too right? You said it's in Korea.” Junseok said.

Jungkook lied to Junseok saying his mother passed away. It was easier for him to say that then explain why they are not together.

And Jungkook didn't want to fill Junseok's heart with hate towards his mother. He knows it's painful for a child to hate his mother, and be furious at her for the rest of their life.

“Tell me we will, right?” He asked again, Jungkook smiled and fixed his uniform.

“We will,” he said. “But I told you to find a new mom for me?”

Jungkook doesn't want to remarry, but if he did, he wants Jun to decide who he wants his mother to be like.

Jun made a cringing face, “No, I don't want anyone to be my mom. You said you loved her too, right?”

He doesn't even like seeing Jungkook with any girl.

Jungkook nodded his head,  “I really loved your mother a lot.”

Junseok's eyes widened with interest. "Really? What was she like?"

Jungkook chuckled, "She loved to bake cookies. I remember coming home to the smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. And she had this magical ability to make any day better with just a hug."

Junseok's face lit up with a mix of awe and longing. "Wow, she sounds amazing. I wish I could've met her. Too sad she died.”

Jungkook's smile remained, masking the truth that lingered beneath. "Yeah, she was truly special. You would've loved her."

He wanted to shield Junseok from the harsh reality, the painful memories that he himself had buried deep within.

Taehyung sat with a proud smile, watching 4-year-old Eunae engrossed in solving math problems.

Her bright eyes focused on the numbers, her small fingers swiftly counting on her tiny hands.

Taehyung can't believe that he tried to k’ll her at one point. Because he loved her a lot despite her not being his own blood.

Maybe it was because Eunae is autistic. She has a different case of autism than Taehyung’s mother, Eunae has severe autism and difficulties in verbal communication. Still she reminds Taehyung of his mother.

“She solved all the equations, she is truly incredible," Y/n remarked, joining Taehyung on the couch.

Taehyung smiled. "Yeah, she's amazing at math. Definitely not like her mother, who couldn't pass highschool math after so much struggle,” Taehyung joke, reminding her how she was in highschool.

She chuckled, “As if you could solve math,” she fixed Eunae hair with a smile, “She got her intelligence from her father.”

Taehyung's expression changed, as she mentioned his father, because Taehyung knows it's not him and she is talking about Jungkook, who would top every subject.

Taehyung turned his gaze to Eunae, he is really gentle in front of Eunae, he doesn't want tl traumatize her.

Taehyung's father walked in, a playful grin on his face. "Where's my favorite math wizard?"

Eunae looked up, a shy smile spreading across her face. She said, "Grandpa!"

He chuckled, ruffling her hair. "That's right! The smartest grandchild in the world."

Everyone adores her, especially Taehyung's father. Eunae is a loving child it was natural for everyone to love her.

Taehyung went to his room, Y/n noticed his behavior, she decided to ignore him. Which just fuels his anger. He called her.

She went to the room and he shut the room. “Are you serious? Why were you mentioning him?” Taehyung exclaimed.

“When did I mention him?” She asked. Taehyung hardly pushed her to the wall.

“Comparing Eunae with her real father, Why do you like to remind me that Eunae is not my child?” He exclaimed.

She didn't reply, why would she? She doesn't want to be with Taehyung either, but he is the one who doesn't lets her leave.

He held her face with his hand and pushed It against the wall. “What do I have to do to get him out of your head huh? Why do you always think it's okay to mention him?”

“I didn't even mention him,” she said while tears scrolled down her face.

He doesn't hit her, but he throws her around, pushes her against stuff etc do everything.

He touches the surface of domestic v'olence but he thinks he is a good husband because he never enters the zone of hitting her physically.

But he has terrified her so much, she can't say anything against or which Taehyung doesn't like.

“Try taking his name, I will rip your tongue out of your mouth,” He exclaimed, he pushed her bed as he took her his shirt. “Stop crying,”

He got on top of her, she was still crying. He wiped her tears. She pushed him. “Taehyung, stop right now.”

“You can't fcking say no to your husband Y/n!” he said and pinned her hands over her head as he kissed her lips.

Jungkook carefully hugged the sleeping Junseok, his peaceful form cradled in his arms.

He lifted her gently, making his way through the unfamiliar space that was now their home.

He remembered when he lived in a small place, but now he has this big house in Korea, which is empty.

He laid him down on the bed, tucking him in his new bed.

After ensuring Junseok was settled, Jungkook retreated to his own room.

He stared at the ceiling, wrestling with emotions that threatened to consume him.

"I'm over Y/n," he muttered to himself, a hollow conviction in his voice. "I don't care about her anymore."

Yet, Jungkook found it impossible to escape the haunting memories of Y/n.

He clenched his fists as he tossed and turned in his bed, Jungkook couldn't deny he was still in love with her and he can do anything to be her once again.
