Taehyung hesitated for a moment before gathering the courage to speak. "Dad, why can't Y/n have custody of Jun? I love her, and I'd love Jun as my own too. And Y/n will be happy, her happiness matter the most.”

His father sighed, a heaviness in his voice. "Taehyung, if Jun lives with us, she'll be reminded of Jungkook every day. It's not easy for her, and I want to spare her that pain. And even if you love Jun as a father he will never look at you as his father."

Taehyung frowned, determined. "But Dad, you treated and love Hyori too, Why can't I do the same for Junseok?”

His father looked at him, “Don't mention that again and again and Hyori had my brother's blood, which is same as mine. And Junseok is a Jeon, he will never fit in with Kim and I don't want him to. You tell me, do you want Jun to live with Y/n?”

Taehyung shook his head. His father nodded his head, “Good, It would be a different topic if Junseok's father was death, but he is really much alive. It's better to keep her away from Jun and her ex husband. If you don't want to lose her.”

Y/n paces nervously. Taehyung stands beside her.

“I can't believe it's come to this. I just want what's best for Jun.” Y/n whispered.

She never wanted Jun to be in a place like such. Y/n’s father died when she was young, but she wanted to grow up in a family where both parents raise the child. At the beginning she thought her step father cared about her, but later she found out about his intentions.

“We've got a strong case. Just trust the process.” Taehyung squeezed her hand gently.

As Y/n tries to calm her nerves, she notices Jungkook across the room. Their eyes lock, but instead of warmth, she is met with a cold, piercing glare.

Jungkook approaches, “It's sad, you guys didn't inform me before going for your honeymoon? I would have gifted it to you,”

Jungkook said in mocking, he still remembers how Taehyung ruined wedding and honeymoon just by a gift.

“No, need. We still had a lot of fun.” Taehyung replied and kissed her forehead.

Jungkook clenched his fists and nodded his head, “I can see that.”

“Oh I have something for you,” Taehyung said, making both Jungkook and Y/n confused. He took out a ring from his pocket, it was Y/n’s wedding ring that Jungkook gave her. Y/n didn't know Taehyung had it. “Here, my wife wears bigger diamonds than this one tiny one, did you buy it from sale?”

Y/n was surprised, she was about to take the ring from Taehyung but Jungkook did.

No matter what, the ring was special for both Y/n and Jungkook. And Jungkook worked so hard to buy it. He spent extra hours working to buy her that ring.

And she wasn't the one to even ask for an  expensive ring, Jungkook was the one who gifted it to her.

“I will give this to someone who values it,” Jungkook replied, he patted Taehyung's shoulder, “You know she will leave you if she finds someone who is even richer than you right?”

“Save the drama for the courtroom. This is about Jun,” Taehyung replied.

Jungkook shoots Taehyung look before they head towards the courtroom.

Y/n sits anxiously beside her lawyer, fingers tapping rhythmically on the polished wooden table.

Taehyung held her hand. “Don't worry,”

She shook her head. How can she not worry?

The judge was about to close the case but Jungkook's lawyer started showing Taehyung and Y/n articles, saying she is a bad mother because she cheated on Jungkook.

“She doesn't deserve to raise her son, she is the one who neglected her child and cheated on her husband,”

“I can't believe they're accusing me of cheating. It's not true!” Y/n whispered, tears filling her eyes. She really didn't think Jungkook will try to insult her like this.

“We'll address it. Stay calm, Y/n.” Her lawyer whispered back.

“We've reviewed the evidence presented, and accusations have been made regarding fidelity. Mrs. Y/n, we need to address this matter. The court takes such allegations seriously.” The judge said.

Y/n's heart pounds as her personal life is insulted in front of strangers.

“Your Honor, we have witness testimonies and messages that raise questions about Mrs. Y/n's commitment to her marriage.” The prosecutor said.

The lawyer swiftly rises to counter, but the judge raises a hand, signaling a halt.

“Save your defense for the proper time. Mrs. Y/n, the court will take a short recess to allow both parties to gather additional evidence.”

The lawyer glances around nervously, aware of the intensity of Jungkook's anger.

“I was just trying to create doubt, make her look unreliable.” The lawyer said.

“This is about Jun, not attacking Y/n's character.” Jungkook exclaimed.

Tears stream down Y/n's face as she exits the courtroom, emotionally battered by the accusations. He took her to waiting area, they need to wait for 45 minutes.

“Y/n, stop crying please.” Taehyung said.

She shook her head as her voice trembled, “It's just... I never thought he'd stoop so low. Accusing me of cheating, using that against me in court.”

Taehyung pulls Y/n into a comforting embrace, letting her pour out her emotions. “He's desperate, Y/n. Don't let his tactics break you.”

“It just hurts, Taehyung. What he says to me in private is one thing but insulting in a room filled with people, I was always faithful to him.” She said. Taehyung stroked her hair.

“I know,” he mumbled and kissed her forehead. “ Stay strong, Y/n. Jun needs you at your best.”

“I feel so bad, he is such a cheap man Y/n” He cupped her face, and kissed her lips.

She started crying more. As Taehyung continued to kiss her softly, she hugged him. Taehyung smiled and caressed her back.

“In light of the evidence presented, custody of Junseok will be awarded to Mr. Jungkook.” The judge announced.

Y/n's heart sinks as the reality of the decision hits her. Taehyung places a hand on her shoulder.

Jungkook, now granted custody, glances at Y/n. Ignoring her tear-streaked face, he leaves the courtroom, leaving Y/n devastated.

She followed him out, “Jungkook, please... let me see Jun. I beg you.”

Jungkook stops but doesn't turn around, his tone firm.

“There's no need, Y/n. I'm moving away, and Jun doesn't need a mother like you.” Jungkook said.

Y/n's eyes widen in shock, and she takes a step forward.

“But he's my son! Please, let me be a part of his life. You can't take him from me.” Y/n said.

“He's better off without you. I won't let you ruin his life any further.” Jungkook said.

Jungkook walks away, leaving Y/n standing alone.

What does he mean he is leaving? That can't be happening, she wouldn't be able to live with Jun.
