Taehyung grinned, "Y/n, I got that watch because I wanted you too.”

“It was not cool, Jungkook was asking me all types of questions.” She said,

“He doesn't trust you?” Taehyung asked.

“No, he doesn't, but it is weird you know. You didn't even tell me before exchanging the watches.’

“But I like the one you bought, it's elegant and simple.” Taehyung said, she saw that he was wearing the watch that Y/n bought for Jungkook.

“Taehyung, you can buy way better watches, don't embarrass me.” She said.

“I am not, I really like this watch, in exchange you can keep the Cartier one.” He said.

“Gosh Taehyung, you can keep that, you have to take this back.” She said she placed it on the table.

“So I can keep this as a gift?” He asked. He already forcely took the watch she bought as a gift.

She nodded her head.

Taehyung said. "Thank you, Y/n. I'll treasure it. But you're keeping the watch, okay?"

“Taehyung no,” she said.

“Okay, okay. Thank you for this.”

Jungkook glanced at the notification on his phone, a confirmation for an order. Curious, he tapped on the link and was met with an image of a sleek watch. A watch he hadn't received yet.

Puzzled, he furrowed his brows. It says it was already bought. He sighed, remembering the exchange.

He went to the kitchen, where he saw Y/n who was preparing cookie dough, while humming a tune.

“Y/n did you return what's the deal with the company?” He asked.

“Oh, yeah, I'll return it. I will buy another for you Jungkook. Forget this one.” She said,

He nodded his head. "Jungkook, I'm so happy for your job, I need to give you two gifts now.”

He got selected by one of the companies. She turned to face him with a wide grin.

Jungkook smiled, “I hope I don't lose it again.”

She leaned in, giving him a warm hug,

Meanwhile, Taehyung learned about the news.

~He dialed Seulgi's number, a puzzled expression on his face, "Seulgi, I thought I told you not to hire Jungkook. You said you will not, What changed your mind?"

Seulgi chuckled on the other end, "Well, Tae, I found Jungkook not just qualified but also... quite attractive and hot. I couldn't resist hiring him."

~Taehyung, surprised by her response, could only laugh, “He is married,”

“I don't mind that, really.” she replied, “You think he will cheat?”

~ “Don't seduce, seduction will not work on him” he replied.

“Hmm, then what will?”

Jungkook was in no mood to come here, but he had too. It wasn't like he had to meet Y/n’s friend everyday. The wedding was huge as expected.

Surrounded by friends at a lavishly decorated table, laughter and clinking glasses filled the air.

He was fine, until Taehyung came, he was not expecting him, and he drew everyone’s attention.

“Oh my god Taehyung!” They all get excited. It looked like despite him being back in Korea for almost a month now he didn't meet anyone other than Y/n.

He greeted Y/n with a hug, making Jungkook a little jealous as he hugged Y/n the longest. But he shrugged it off and Taehyung sat beside Y/n.

Jungkook noticed Taehyung's wrist and the watch he was watching, it looked the same like the one Y/n bought for Jungkook, what if she didn't buy it for Jungkook. But what if it was for Taehyung?

Taehyung always wears luxurious stuff, why would he wear it unless Y/n gave it.

Jungkook shook his head, maybe he was thinking too much.

Y/n left the time as Lisa called her. She went to him, leaving Jungkook alone with his friends.

“How's Jun, you didn't bring him?” Taehyung asked Jungkook.

“His name is Junseok.” Jungkook replied coldly.

“I know, Y/n told me that she likes to call him Jun.” Taehyung said. “I am quite sad how you are keeping her,”

“How am I keeping her?” He asked.

“You are giving her an average life, at this rate don't be surprised if she leaves you for someone richer, like your mother did.” Taehyung said. Earning the chuckles others on the table.

Jungkook is not a teenager, who doesn't get triggered, but people mocking him. “She will not, giving her an average life is better than giving her everything but being abusive and hurting her. Like someone else's mother suffered.”

No one understood it except Taehyung and Hyori. They didn't tell anyone, but Jungkook unintentionally witnesses it.

Taehyung clenched his fists, he was not fine with him making a joke about his mother.

The wedding continues. Jungkook was glad that at least Taehyung has shut his mouth, Y/n came back, and he and Taehyung started talking.

However, the tone took a darker turn when Jisoo brought up the past, steering the conversation towards Taehyung's previous connection with Y/n. “You both look so good together.” Jisoo said.

Making Jungkook roll his eyes, he knows whenever she is gonna open her mouth, she will try to mock Jungkook.

“Taehyung, remember when you and Y/n were inseparable?" Jisoo that.

Taehyung said, "That's in the past, Jisoo. Let's focus on Lisa's big day."

Jungkook took a sip of his drink, it doesn't matter, he and Y/n and married and Y/n wear his ring on her finger.

“How can you not, you both were perfect together. You were even each other's first, before someone else ruined it.” She said

Making Jungkook choke on his drink, he never asked her, but getting to know her first was her former best friend in front of a table full of people, which was quite a lot.

Y/n was surprised, “What are you talking about?”

“We remember Y/n, how he broke up with you and you went to Taehyung and told him you want to be with him now. Until Jungkook gain your pity through his father's de*th.” she said.

“I don't know who gave you this information but it's not true,” Y/n said.

“Let's not talk about it now. It’s in the past.” Taehyung exclaimed.

Jungkook was hurt, if it happened after he and Y/n met then how could she not tell him?
