Everything that had been clouding her
smokey eyes was now gone. All the rage,
and sadness, and regret had faded away
like the thick fog quickly dispersing
on a sunny day.

There were no more clouds or thundering
rain. It was silence and peace once more.
The one thing that she had died trying
to get back.

Perhaps it was all worth it, she was
finally.. normal. It was surreal. A feeling that
she never thought she would get to
meet. Pure and unfiltered content.

Turning the young Knight into a lost cause. Or at least that's how she felt. All she wanted was to feel normal.. be normal. Unfortunately, that was a luxury that friend's of the Velvet Spider did not get.

And so that is how Hades came to life. A villain that no one could trace. No one could defeat. Someone who no one knew the identity of. Seeking for vengeance on her soul.

▅ i'm not even kidding when i say that this is one of my ( if not my number one ) favorite plots- like i made this the morning after i saw nwh and i was so proud! and yes this does have spoilers.. obviously. but yes, i love the way that peter treats mercury and i just love writing her in general! i really do hope you guys enjoy this book because lord knows that it's one that i'm actually genuinely proud of.
