"So many have died, some are injured badly," Ryan notified Isaac "the pack doctor is having difficulties dealing with everyone"

"Can we ask for another pack doctor from other packs?" Isaac asked looking at Ryan. We all were sitting in the living room of the packhouse. Except for Liza and Katie. They were in Katie's room.

"I can ask them" Ryan got up and started going out of the room.

"stop, wait," Darlene interjected, "we can help."

Ryan stopped and looked at her, waiting for her to say something else "I can heal some of them, and even Nate knows spells."

"We can ask for a doctor. You don't have to do anything" Ryan said while furrowing his eyebrows. Isaac was sitting, quietly.

"I will help, too," I glanced at Ryan then looked at Nate and Darlene, "it would be much faster than a doctor tending to patients."

"Okay, Aiden and Ryan can join you," Isaac said while looking at Darlene and Nate, "Bella, will you please stay for a moment?"

I sighed and nodded while putting my hand over my chest feeling my heart beating against my palm.

Aiden looked at Darlene and coughed, "I will show you the way," he hurried outside the door with Ryan leaving everyone confused while  Darlene mumbled something and followed him

Nate looked at both of them and then he mouthed while looking at me before following both of them 'what is the matter with them?'

Isaac coughed, "are you okay?"

"I guess," I sighed, "I have to stay okay, this is just the start."

Isaac stroke my cheek and looked at me with concern, "everything will be okay."

"Why did you put yourself in danger?" I laughed, bitterly, "why did you have to go to such extremes that you put yourself along with the pack in danger?"

"For you, I needed to get you back," Isaac exasperated, "I couldn't sit idly while you were in danger."

"I wasn't in danger, you put yourself in danger because of me," I said while putting my hands up in the air, "you shouldn't have put yourself in danger."

"What are you talking about?" Isaac yelled at me with disbelief in his eyes, "you're my mate, I couldn't imagine the thought of you being hurt."

"How can you say that?" I stared at him, "when you were the one who had hurt me, I trusted you."

"No, you didn't, that's what the problem is, Bella," he pestered, "you didn't trust me enough to tell me everything."

"You are still going to justify your behavior by blaming it all on me?"

"No, I accept. I accept I was the one who did you wrong," he took a deep breath and looked at me with a broken expression, "that's why I am sorry, I am deeply, terribly sorry for what I did. I shouldn't have doubted you, I shouldn't have let you go."

I stayed quiet for a moment and then put my arms around him making him froze, "can we please pause this fight for some time, I am tired of fighting for my life," I whispered while holding him tightly, "I can't fight with you, too, I don't have any energy left."

He nodded while kissing the top of my head and wrapped his arms around me tightly not leaving any space for me to escape.

When I entered the hospital, I could feel the distress people were in. My heart was clenching. So many people were laying on the bed, with injuries and wounds covering their bodies.
I saw Darlene in front of a bed holding a book and concentrated on a girl's arm while Nate was at the corner of the hall mumbling something. Aiden was standing at some distance from Darlene while glancing at her from time to time while Ryan was helping the pack doctor.

I saw a boy whimpering in pain "where does it hurt?" I asked he pointed to his bloodied leg.

I put my palm on his leg and heard a crack of bone along with a whimper.

The boy was looking at me, astonishingly "thank you," he cried. I stroke his cheek and started healing people one by one.

I mended bones, healed wounds, and eased the pain of a lot of people. I was happy for helping people but my head was spinning, badly.

I leaned towards a bed and held the wall by my hand for support. Aiden rushed towards me with a worried face "Belle, are you okay?"

"Yes, I-uh-" I couldn't complete my whole sentence because of the dizziness.

"She must be exhausted because of, today. She hasn't used this much magic before. Perhaps, that's why she is feeling light-headed" Darlene's soft voice said.

'Isaac' I said in my mind. My eyes started getting closed and I fell into darkness.

My eyes opened but I blinked profusely to adjust the vision of my eyes to come back. I was in a white room with the scent of medication around me. Isaac was holding my hand and his head was rested on the side of my bed. He was sleeping, peacefully.

I put my hand over his head and started stroking his cheek. He groaned but then his eyes fluttered open.

"Bella, you are awake" He wrapped his arms around me, "I was so scared when I saw you unconscious."

"I am okay" I smiled while looking at him, "I was just tired."

"You shouldn't have come here when you were tired" he hugged me again "Don't you fucking dare to pull something like this, again."

"I can't promise" I smiled "where is everyone?"

"At home"

Home, I forgot the meaning of this word, I never thought I would hear this word again. I stopped calling the place I've lived 'home' because no place felt like home until Isaac. My home was never a place but a person.

"I want to go home, too"

"Let's go, the doctor said you can go when you wake up"

We walked out of the hospital in a comforting silence but Isaac broke the silence by asking "are you okay now that he is dead?"

"Would it make me a bad person, if I say I am?" I asked, looking into his eyes.

"No, it would not make you a bad person" he stroked my right cheek "he deserved it"

"I killed him, Isaac" I whispered looking at the floor "I am a killer"

"You saved us" Isaac pulled my chin up staring at me "and you are a Saviour"

I wrapped my arms around his neck. Tears started spilling from my eyes and my body started shaking because of loud sobs. Isaac didn't utter a word, he just rubbed his hand on my back in a comforting manner.

After my body became exhausted because of crying. I looked at Isaac "I am not even sorry for ruining your shirt," I mumbled, "you should thank me, it's just your shirt, not your pretty face."

He chuckled "I don't mind you ruining my shirt" he stroke my hair, "at least my face is pretty in your eyes."

"Your face is ugly, I was just kidding," I smacked his chest, "Let's go. I want to see everyone" I pulled his arm and started moving towards the house.

After entering the home, we entered the living room where Katie was sleeping on the sofa, peacefully. Ryan was sleeping beside Katie with a napkin on his face while Aiden had his head rested on Ryan's knee. Liza was laying down on the ground, while Nate and Darlene were nowhere to be found. The scene in front of me was amusing.

"WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP" I yelled. Ryan got up, abruptly in resulting Aiden fell to the ground, he groaned. Liza woke up rubbing her eyes, and Katie jumped from the sofa in Ryan's arms.

"What the hell?" Liza yelled while looking at me, "Belle?" Liza ran towards me and engulfed me in a hug while tears were streaming from her eyes, "you're back, I missed you."

I laughed and hugged her back, "I missed you guys, too."

"I thought somebody attacked us, again," Ryan said while running his hands in his hair holding Katie.

Katie was looking at me in disbelief but when she understood what was happening, she jumped from Ryan's arms and rushed towards me, "it's you,  even when the fight was happening and you saved us, I thought it was someone else but it's you."

"Yes, it's me," I held her tightly while closing my eyes, "I am glad you both are safe."

Aiden took me out of Katie's arms and wrapped his arms around me, "I am so glad you're okay, Belle. I was scared that something bad might have happened to you."

Isaac snatched my body from Aiden and glared at him, "that's enough."

"you better put him up on leash from now on." Aiden rolled his eyes, "I had a good nap" he yawned like a toddler.

"Stop flaunting your good naps in front of me" Liza hissed at Aiden.

"I am gonna go and sleep on my bed" Liza stomped off.

"I am going to go and have another great nap" Aiden yawned and moved out of the room.

"I am going to go and tuck Katie in bed, too," Ryan said, flatly. Katie was gaping out on Ryan's chest.

"Where are Nate and Darlene?" I furrowed my eyebrows and looked around.

Isaac flopped on the sofa, "they said they have to go back to tell your mother and Darlene's grandmother about what had happened here."

I touched my jeans pockets and cursed, "can I please get your phone?"

Isaac frowned and handed me his phone, but I couldn't remember their numbers, "I don't even remember their numbers, and my phone, I don't know where it is."

Isaac looked at me for a second and then strolled out of the room leaving me confused, but then he came back with a mobile in his hand, "Nathaniel gave it to me, to give you," Isaac looked at the phone with his nose scrunched.

I took the phone and dialed Nate's number and heard a gruff voice, "what do you want?"

I rolled my eyes at Nate's behavior, "what do you mean what? Where did you both go?"

"Good God, I was sleeping, you disturbed my sleep for this," He sighed, "and we came back because we needed Selena to know everything about what happened there."

"You could have woken me up," I complained.

He chuckled, "your dog mate had his alpha gaze on everything surrounding you, he would have started biting people if someone would have disturbed your snow-white sleep."
