My ears were buzzing with faint voices of growling, yelling, and some cries for help. Everyone was agitated. The atmosphere reeked with a strong smell of blood. Women and children were desperately trying to find a safe place, meanwhile, every man was fighting. Some of them were in their wolf form, while some were still in their human form.

Everyone was fighting for their lives, I looked at Darlene and nodded. She smirked and jumped in the air conjuring a long sword while lunging at a big werewolf slicing its leg. I still couldn't believe the calm and peaceful place I left was in chaos now and people were fighting for their lives.

I looked around and saw Isaac and Ryan fighting some wolf's still in their human forms. I could see the exhaustion on Isaac's face, my heart sank just by looking at him. I wanted to run in his arms but I couldn't, I shouldn't.

I took a deep breath and started visualizing the dust molding together, shaping a powerful barrier between the pack members, and the rogue wolves which were still arriving. The dust started polluting the air, swiftly which made everyone stop fighting, it began casting an obstacle preventing the other rogue wolves from joining the fight. I smiled, at my achievement and looked at people still fighting.

I had to do something to keep the people safe, but I couldn't think of something, "think, think, Bella," I murmured while biting my nails and looking around.

I was looking around until my eyes fell upon two figures struggling to fight, I cursed under my breath and made my way towards them, "need any help?" I looked at Liza and Katie who were desperately trying to fight rogue wolves.

Liza gasped while Katie had the same expression but before they could say anything, I looked at the men who were trying to fight Liza and Katie, "you better leave."

They left them and snarled towards me, "uh oh," I sprint back in another direction while they followed me when I saw Liza and Katie safely running from the fight, I stopped and looked at the men, "now, how do you want to die?"

I closed my eyes and could feel the energy surging through my veins, I opened my eyes and directed the energy blast towards the three men, which made them scream in pain, and they instantly fell on the ground groaning in pain.

"Damn, I just felt how Thor must feel after blasting people with his lightning," I whispered while looking at my hands.

This lightning strike caused people's attention towards me which made me the rogue's target, I looked at everyone who was looking at me and sighed, "who cares, if I might die today."

I closed my eyes and felt my body floating, I was in the air while everyone was on the ground looking at me with their eyes wide. I opened my eyes and looked back at them with my heart hammering inside my chest, but what made it worse was the one set of eyes in which I desperately wanted to look at yet I couldn't. Isaac looked at me with wide eyes yet there was a longing in his eyes, so many emotions were running through them, but the most prominent one was guilt.

"Whoever sent you to fight, you must go back, this pack doesn't have any quarrel with you neither the alpha of this pack wants to commence a fight you, so it's better if you all stand back and leave the land of this pack," I could hear my voice booming while everyone gazed at me, "if you all don't retract back then I don't take any responsibility for what's about to happen to you all."

One man spat, "And who the fuck are you?"

I scrunched my nose but before I could say anything, another voice yelled among the crowd, "the fucking Luna of this pack," I looked in the direction of the voice, Aiden was grinning at me with blood oozing from his forehead.

Before anyone could say something, I closed my eyes and could feel connecting my mind to every rogue which was present there, I could sense it now by their scents, the sharp, vicious scent which was giving me a headache. I wasn't confident about what I was going to do, but I knew I will succeed in whatever I was trying.

I envisioned tangling every rogue's mind with a thread that was connected to mine, I could hear and feel the discomfort, and squabble of every rogue present there which was making me feel drained, but I knew I couldn't stop, now yet.

I pulled the thread which made the rogues be in a hypnotic trance and they stopped struggling and fighting and stood still. I opened my eyes and fell with a thud on the ground, Darlene held me, "what did you do, belle?"

I breathed and closed my eyes, "hypnotized them?"

Before she could say anything, Isaac came rushing towards me with a worried expression and took me from Darlene's arms, "Bella, oh are you okay?"

I looked at him and closed my eyes because I didn't want to look at the face which could make me easily forget what he had done, I sighed, and left his arms while standing up, "the fight isn't over, I don't know for how much time I could keep them at bay, I am not good at this," I said while looking at Isaac's saddened face with a blank expression.

Suddenly, I could feel the rogues struggling which made me cry out in pain, I held my forehead with both of my hands and whimpered because of the pain which had erupted in my mind.

"Leave them, leave their mind, Belle, or you are going to go catatonic," Darlene yelled at me while frantically shaking me and looking at Isaac, "put some sense in your mate and ask her to stop."

"But they are going to start fighting again," I whispered, "I can't let people die."

Isaac held my face with both of his hands with concern plastered on his face, "I know you don't even want to see my face, Bella but please I can't lose you, stop whatever you're doing. My pack can fight."

Tears were running from my eyes, not just because of the anguish in my mind, but also being so closed to Isaac was making twice as much the pain.

"I told you not to die," I heard Nate's annoyed voice from behind, he looked at me and then glared at Isaac, "you, will you leave her just so I can put some sense in her stupid brain?"

Isaac glared at him and stood protectively, "she's my mate, why would I leave her?"

"Huh, she's your mate now?" Nate scowled at him, "she wasn't your mate when you locked her in the room and left her to rot?"

"Isaac, hi I know you don't know us, but we know Belle and just want to help her so please let us," Darlene looked at Isaac, pleadingly and then she grimaced at Nate while hitting him on his arm, "I will stab you with a sword if you say anything, just help Belle."

Isaac and Nate both glared at each other, while Nate came in front of me with concern in his eyes, "I told you not to do anything stupid, if you don't leave the rogue's mind, it will consume you, little witch," but before I could do anything he touched my forehead making me yelped in pain and then the distress suddenly faded and I sighed in comfort.

Isaac looked at me with concern in his eyes, "are you okay, Bella?"

I opened my eyes and could hear the voices filled with confusion and horror, I could feel the strength coming back to me, "I feel good, much better."

Some rogues fled from the fight in panic while some rogues started fighting again with the pack members and the atmosphere which became quiet became more tensed and overwrought.

"You better get your ass up and start fighting again or else I will kill you with my own hands, Belle," Darlene yelled and run to jump at a wolf while Nate nodded at me and started combatting with a man.

I looked at Isaac who was still looking at me with concern which automatically made me smile, "I am okay, go."

He hissed at me, "stop telling me you're okay."

"Then what do you want me to do?" I scowled at him, "lock myself in a storeroom?"

He cursed under his breath, "you didn't even give me a chance to explain myself."

"Are you serious?" I looked at him in disbelief, "it was you who didn't give me a chance to prove my innocence."

Before he could say anything a wolf attacked us, I shielded us with a magical shield and glared at the wolf.

"you asshole, don't you have manners, you can't disturb two people when they are fighting," I conjured a sword and stabbed him with it and glared at Isaac, "I want to stab you right now, so you better go away from my eyes."

"Then do it," Isaac glared at me while coming near me and holding the sword, "I have been being stabbed in my heart from the moment I let you go, I couldn't breathe, I couldn't live because I knew I did wrong to you. I couldn't pull myself together because I knew, Bella, I was the one who had hurt you. Your mate who should have kept you safe was the one who left you all alone when I was the one who promised to keep you protected, yet I was the one who stranded you."

"Please don't do this," I could feel tears brimming into my eyes, I looked away, "please don't act as you care about me."

Suddenly, a loud growl boomed in the air making me shudder in fear. A big grey wolf was in the middle of rogues, but I could differentiate him because of his authority and power. Rogues started getting behind him.

He changed into his human form and my breath hitched in my throat. My heart started thumping against my chest.

"Carl" I whispered.
