Dynamite

The first episode of AEW Dynamite begins as everyone is pumped that AEW has got a television show on TNT. It was announced a new Women's AEW Champion will be crowned once Nyla Rose goes up against Riho. It was also announced that Kenny Omega will be facing Daikon Black in the main event tonight.

The crowd knew the history between the two, mostly when Kenny was the Third Leader of the Bullet Club and Daikon was enemy #1 at the time. When Daikon retired in 2017 after losing the IWGP Heavyweight Title from Kazuchika Okada, Kenny would claim that HE made him retire. However, everyone called bullshit on that as they knew Daikon retires on his own will, no one else's.

The crowd couldn't wait to see this match, especially with Daikon facing Cody Rhodes for the first time at Full Gear for the AEW World Title. Many would even call Daikon "The Japanese Reaper", to go along with Cody's nickname "The American Nightmare".

Cody faces Sammy Guevara at the opening of tonight's show, with his wife, Brandi, at his side. The two had a great match with Cody scoring a win. Later, Tony Schiavone came to the ring to interview Rhodes.

Guevara comes back and looks as if he's gonna fight Cody, but instead shook his hand in respect, getting a great ovation from the crowd. Suddenly, the lights went out and everyone went silent. Soon some gothic music plays as the arena's lights went red.

?: Cody Rhodes...

The crowd knew that voice as the titantron cuts to an area in ruins. Soon, a figure is seen walking through the destruction around it. The camera fades into a zoom-in, revealing the figure's face.

Daikon: The American Nightmare...quite the name. Yet you seem to have forgotten that I was a Terror in America and many countries around the World before you were even noticed. I conquered every promotion I come across in my life, and what were you doing? Being treated like nothing as an old, washed-up, close-to-dying man pushed you down, simply because of his hatred towards your father.

Daikon: But after you left, you showed the world what you can do. It pains me that your late father couldn't see you or your brother succeed when the ungrateful chairman wouldn't give you a chance. But I know Dusty would've been and will always be proud of both of his sons no matter what and no matter what world he's in. However...

Daikon: As for now, the present, I will show you the true nightmare. One that can kill you in your sleep. At Full Gear, I expect you to show your will when facing me for the AEW World Championship. I am very eager to face you. But until then...

Soon, the lights went out before the stage sets off a pyro. Cody looks on with seriousness while Brandi stood by her husband with fear. Then, a shadowy finger is seen standing on the top turnbuckle near them. The camera moves at the figure and soon it becomes visible.

Daikon then spoke, but he lip-synced to make it look like he's voice was loud.

Daikon: You better prepare yourself for a battle. I despise mortals you are not ready for their souls to be freed from their shells.

He grins as Cody and Brandi stare at him with seriousness and fear. Soon, the lights went out again. Then, they come back on and Daikon disappeared.

*later*

We see a backstage cut of Daikon warming up as his valet, Rosemary stands beside him, holding his Mask and his AEW World Title for him. We can see him on his All Out Gear despite being seen with a different one when he appeared in WWE.

Once he's done, he turns to her as she wraps the belt around his waist for him.

She then gives him a gentle smile and spoke.

Rosemary: We're going to make Omega suffer. His false claims of your departure will be destroyed, just like his body and soul.

Daikon nods to her as she applies the mask to his face. Soon, a pink orb glows on his left eye as he takes a deep breath and cracks his knuckles.

Rosemary: That's the spirit, my Lord. *bows to him* And don't worry. Your disciples will arrive soon.

*later*

Kenny Omega is seen in the ring, waiting for Daikon to arrive. He was nervous as he knew the claims of him making Daikon retire will come back to bite him in the ass one day, and that day has arrive.

Soon, the lights went out as the crowd got ready for the presence of the Divine God of Justice.

The crowd pops as Daikon and Rosemary come out and make their way to the ring.

Justin: His opponent, being accompanied by Rosemary, from Tokyo, Japan, weighing 215lbs, he is the All Elite Wrestling World Champion, Daikon Black!

Kenny looks on with some fear as Daikon stops at ringside. Rosemary takes off his belt as he removes his Gi. He passes it to her then takes off his mask, before going to the steps and climbing on the apron, and entering the ring.

He glares at Kenny as he stretches out. His theme fades as the crowd cheers for both men, mostly Daikon. The bell rings and the two circle the ring, glaring at each other. Soon, they went into a Collar Elbow tie-up, before Daikon hits a few knees on Kenny's chest. He then strikes him with several punches before hitting an Irish Whip.

Omega ducks under a clothesline from Daikon and went for a Sliding Kick, but Daikon jumps over him, avoiding the move. Kenny starts fighting back with punches and forearms, before going for a Running Big Boot.

Daikon caught his leg and sweeps him down. Daikon then grabs his leg, presses his foot on the back of the knee, raised the leg, and stomps on the leg, knee first. Kenny grunts as Daikon brings out his arm and stomps it. He then stomps the other arm and then the other leg.

He then turns Kenny on his back and mounts him, hitting several punches to his head. The ref tries to pull him off Omega, but Daikon quickly turned to him and glared at him, making the ref leave the ring in fright.

Daikon then picks Kenny off the mat and sends him to the corner. He charges at him, but Kenny moves out of the way, making Black collide with the turnbuckle. He starts hitting several strikes before picking Daikon up and hitting a Running Backbreaker.

He goes for the cover, but Daikon tosses him off him, before getting up. Kenny went for a Frankensteiner, but Daikon drops him with a Powerbomb. He then brought him up and starts destroying Kenny with several Judo Throws.

The crowd cringes at each strike as Daikon stops and lets go of Omega. He then steps on him and the ref goes for the count, but Omega kicks out. Daikon grins as he picks up Omega and tosses him out of the ring.

He gets out and approaches Kenny who is standing up. He goes to grab him, but Kenny hits a Superkick, stunning Daikon before shoulder thrusting him against the Apron. He goes for an Irish Whip but Daikon counters and hits his own. Omega, however, jumps on the barricade and hits a Moonsault, bringing Daikon down.

He then poses as he mocks Rosemary, who glares at him. He brings up Daikon and goes for a Body Slam, but was then countered and grabbed by the throat. Daikon glares at him as he brought tight next to a ring post and hits the Hōfuku Otoshi on Omega against the post.

Omega held his head in pain as Daikon glares down at him. He picks him up and sends him back inside the ring. Soon, the crowd started chanting "Cody Rhodes/Daikon Black!" as Black looks around with a small grin. He enters the ring before climbing up to the top rope.

He measures Kenny before going for a Frog Splash, but Omega rolls away. Daikon lands and stands on his knees but gets hit with a Knee by Kenny. Omega then picks him on his shoulders and hits a Rolling Fireman's Carry, then hits a Springboard Moonsault and goes for the cover.

Daikon kicks out as Kenny then applies a chokehold, trying to wear him down. The ref checks on him, but Daikon refuses to give up. He starts to get up and then hits Kenny with several elbows to the chest.

Kenny stuns him with a Knee before going for the Cross-Legged Fisherman Buster, but Daikon counters, and hits a Reverse Frankensteiner.

Daikon goes for the cover, but Kenny kicks out.

*later*

Kenny goes Croyt's Wrath with a bridge and the ref counts. Daikon kicks out and Kenny was shocked by this. He sat there, wondering what he should do next before deciding to end the match.

He brings himself up and then measures Daikon. Kenny went for V-Trigger, but Daikon got up and hits a Flying Side Kick. Daikon poses for the crowd, signaling the end of the match. He brings Kenny up, locks him in position, and hits the Seibai-Nage.

Daikon goes for the cover. Suddenly, the Young Bucks arrived to aid Omega. Daikon stands up as Nick goes on the apron. He went for a strike but Daikon caught him by the throat. Matt went for a Superkick, but Daikon caught his leg with his other arm and shoves him down. Daikon then lifts Nick and chokeslams him onto Matt, dropping both Bucks down.

Rosemary yells and kicks both Matt and Nick, angry that they interrupted her lord's match and cost him the match. Daikon glares at them, but then gets hit with a V-Trigger from the back of his head by Kenny.

Omega then picks him up in an Electric Chair and hits One Winged Angel. He goes for the pin, but Rosemary, deciding to get back at him, stops the count by distracting the referee. The ref tells her to get back down until Kenny hits her with a V-Trigger.

Kenny yells at her and poses. Then...

Kenny felt a chill down his spine as the crowd chanted "You Fucked Up!". He slowly turns and is met with a cold, but pissed, Divine God. He first starts pleading for mercy, but Daikon looks at him and just shook his head.

Seeing that his pleas weren't listened to, Kenny tries to attack, but Daikon backhands him, stunning Omega. When he turns, he was met by...

Daikon glares down at Omega and pins him, but not in a regular way.

Ref: 1, 2, 3!

The bell rings as Daikon's theme plays. The crowd cheers as Black pushes Omega away and poses for the crowd.

Justin: The Winner of this match, the AEW World Champion, Daikon Black!

Daikon leaves the ring and helps Rosemary up. He picks up his title after applying his Gi and Mask and two began to leave. They walk to the stage and then...

The crowd pops as Cody and Brandi come out and faced both Daikon and Rosemary. The four stared at each other. Cody and Daikon stared at each other before Daikon raised the AEW Title up, getting a loud reaction. Cody looks at it and looks back at Daikon.

Cody: I'll be ready.

Daikon gave a small nod as he sets it on his shoulder and the two continued the staredown as the show ends.
