Charlotte's POV:

After getting ice cream with Lynn, she offered to walk me home

The walk was silent, not the good type of silence, the awkward tense one, "ok, stop" I spoke up

Lynn turned to me confused, "you haven't given me the silent treatment since the 5th grade, what's wrong ?"

"There's nothing wrong, I'm fine, alright here's you, I'll see you tomorrow" she referred to my house turning around to leave, but I stopped her by grabbing her hand making her turn back to me

"You can tell me, you can also trust me, don't keep it in"I pleaded looking her in the eye while she was struggling to do the same but eventually did

"please" I know that when Lynn is quite, it's probably bad

"I just, I don't see Theo as a good guy, for you, I mean, I don't know what you see in that giraffe" Lynn said a bit rude, crossing her arms against her chest looking at me straight in the eye's

I was taken back by the sudden rudeness, I was trying to see if there was any regret in her eyes,

none

"Well at least someone is Interested in me, and no one has ever asked you out have they " this came out the wrong way, cause this seemed to trigger her

"Oh my god Charlotte !, you're so naive ! you have no idea of what life is, you expect that just because you saw a guy and you got his number you think that your just going to marry him and live a happily ever after ? He will crush your fragile heart and I won't be there for you when you crawl crying to me !" Lynn cried out storming off

I guess that hurt me the most since I felt a tear roll down my cheek, I wiped it off and ran to the front door opening it and rushing to my room, thank god no one is home yet

I sat on the edge of my bed recalling everything that happened a minute ago realising how mean I was, she should have a say in this, she should have a say in my choices in life, I was wrong but it was too late now to apologise

Lynn's POV:

So this is how my friendship with Charlotte end, what a great ending to this Cinderella story

I walked in my house sitting on the couch next to all my siblings, but I couldn't think of that right now it was time to take dad to Jean Juan's French mex

But Charlotte was supposed to be with us

I slapped myself in the face

"Get a hold of yourself and forget about her" I accidentally said out loud making everyone turn to look at me confused, I just got up and went to my room laying down thinking about how to get Char back

*time skip to midnight cause I'm tired and it's 3am*

Charlotte's POV :

I'm on my way to the loud's cause Lincoln called me and wanted help planning his dad's half-birthday party with Clyde before his dad, mum and sisters come back from dinner

As soon as I got there, I got straight to baking, making the easiest chocolate cookies

(I always do this cookie recipe since it's so easy and only three ingredients everyone has in their kitchen)

I put the cookies in the oven and went to help Lincoln and Clyde with the decorations and had a special surprise for Mr. Loud that I have practiced a week ago

As soon as I heard the ding I went to the oven and put them in 2!trays, and since they've a lot of family members, I made a lot, like literally a lot, but then heard the door open and Lincoln and Clyde yelling 'surprise' meaning it's my que to come out

"I'm here too !" I chuckled holding the trays trying to squeeze through them to get to the living room to face them

"wait wh- what ?" Mr. Loud exclaimed making Lincoln and Clyde sign to the sisters to play along saying 'surprise' that came out more of a question

"It's your surprise half birthday party, I had to get you out of the house so we could decorate, right guys ?" Lincoln announced "AND so that I could bake you my cookies since there wasn't time for cake " I added on making everyone say 'yeah'

"Wait, so the whole story about Lincoln's plan, and Charlotte being sick ?" Mr. Loud questioned

"It was all part of our bigger plan, right guys ?" I urged all of the to agree, which they did

Mr. Loud turned to them and asked "Wait, you were all in on this" they all agreed and nodded

"It's like you said dad, in the loud house it is all for one and one for all" Lori quoted him

"And..." Lincoln turned to me making me put down the cookies on the coffee table and grabbing a guitar "we have another special surprise for you" Lincoln continued

"I wrote you a half-birthday song" I exclaimed, "I don't think this could get any better" Mr. Loud said speechless

"And I'm going to kick it with a little cowbell" Lucy announced creeping up behind me again almost making me pass out again "it just did" cried out Mr. Loud

In the corner of my eye I think i saw Lynn a little worried when she saw that I lost balance a little but I didn't think of it much, though I need to apologise to her after this

"My real birthday was just a couple weeks ago, and nobody remembered" Ms. Loud told Lily

"I know your not my real dad, but i always felt like you were to me, so I hope you don't mind me calling you dad " I said before playing with the guitar making Mr. loud put his hand on his chest looking at me

"You know what ?"

"What !"

"Let's just rock this thing"

"1, 2, 3, 4 !"

"You thought we didn't listen"

"Yeah Yeah !" They all yelled and started dancing and bobbing their heads to the song

"Listen you thought wrong !"

"Yeah !"

"We've got news for you Dad, your not just great, YOU'RE RAD"

"Happy half birthday !"
"Happy half birthday !"

"Happy half birthday to the best dad in the world, half birthday from your house full of GIRLS"

"And boys" Lincoln and Clyde sang

"Ohh oh ohh oh, happy half birthday"

"Big fun is our goal"
"Yeah yeah"

"That's just how we roll"
"Hey !"

"Hope you like this song"

"And so you know, you're way cooler than Jake strong !"

"Happy half birthday !"

They all yelled out "we love you dad !"

"Thank you ! that was- that was perfect" he turned to me, "where are Leni and Lana ?"

"What would a half birthday present be without a big present ?" Lincoln said making his dad look at him suspiciously

Everyone left the house leading their dad to their backyard while he keeps mumbling "please be a pony"

Until they revealed their eyes and when we saw his car fixed he gasped "VANZILLA, you're beautiful !"

"She's purring like a kitten" Lana said handing her dad the keys, "vanzilla !" Yelled out lily

"And I combined all my ribbons from my ribbon collection, to make that pretty bow" gestured Leni to the design

Mr. Loud walked to the van and hugged it, it was pretty weird but no one said anything, "this is the greatest night of my life ! And I am the luckiest dad in the world, because I have the best kids ever, wait, Linc what about your midnight marathon and your macho man badge ?" He asked

"I don't need a badge from Rip Hardcore to prove that I'm a real man, because a real man is a guy who loves his family and always does the right thing" Lincoln said earning a shoulder pat from Clyde

Luna and Lucy looked at each other and started playing the song again, I looked at Lynn and saw her already staring at me, i gestured for her to follow me into the house, which she obediently followed

As soon as she got in the house I jumped on her hugging her, wrapping my legs around her waist, making her hold me so that we both don't fall

"I'm so sorry" I whispered repeatedly against her shoulder "what I said was rude and mean and horrible and- " "it's fine, really, and I should be the one apologising, I shouldn't interfere with your love life, it wasn't any of my business" I pulled my head back and looked down at her since she practically lifting me off the ground grabbing my thighs

"No but it is your business, everything new that happens to my life is your business, I have to get your opinion on everything, and if you think that Theo isn't good for me than I won't see him"  I smiled to her, I can't believe that one guy almost ruined what we had

"no, you don't have to- " "yes I do, if this guy is a risk to us then I don't want him in my life, and now that I think of it, I just met him and I don't really feel a spark when I think of him anymore" I cut her off

There was a moment of silence making us have strong eye contact and leaning in slowly, I don't know what was a bout to happen, but then I saw her staring at my lips making my stomach do a backflip

Our foreheads were glued together staring into each other's eyes my hands around her neck, with her hands holding on my thighs

But then we heard someone clear their throat making us both spin our heads to the door seeing that everyone was staring at us and our position

Lynn dropped me on the ground turning her whole body to her family and putting her hands behind her back

"Oww Lynn ! what the heck" I rubbed my head getting up standing next to Lynn and looking at everyone else

The tension was horrible so I just yelled "who wants my cookies ?" Making everyone run to the coffee table to eat except for Ms. Loud who smiled at me and walked to the table and fed Lily

Both Lynn and I sighed and turned to look at each other "don't you want to try my famous cookies, Love ? " I asked smugly laughing a little at her relieved face, "oh yes I do ! " Lynn kissed my cheek and went to the cookies

I stood there trying to understand why my stomach feels weird but then it hit me
