First of all, I would like to make a formal apology to @-tbpslays- , she copied most of my ideas in my story and I was extremely frustrated cause all of my hard work went for nothing, but she apologised

and deleted the book and posted an apology book and told her story (go check it out)

So I am apologising if I came off a little mean and rude to you, but I'm really thankful that you did the right thing, and I would like all of you readers to stop harassing her

And it looks like we're alright

Now let's get on with the story of the day 😉

Charlotte's POV :

Ok so I invited two of my friends;
Sarah and Kayla (look at the cast you'll find them, Sarah is the blond and Kayla is the brunette) and Lynn of course

My mom was away for the weekend so the house was all to us, and Dean of course but he will be asleep

I started with pillows and blankets on the couch and the floor in front of it on the rug and put my famous chocolate cookies in the oven, I could make money out of my cookies, and idea for another day

As I was closing the oven's door I turned around and saw Dean walking in the kitchen holding his teddy's hand

"Hey buddy, shouldn't you be in bed it's already 9" I asked concerned, "I'm not sleepy" he yawned rubbing his eyes, I chuckled and took off my gloves off

I went and picked up Dean swinging left to right to his room and on his bed, "tell you what buddy, if I read you a story, will you go to bed" I asked tucking him in, "mhmm" mumbled Dean

I got up from his bed and went over to his desk to grab a book, I went to sit on the foot of his bed and sent him to dream world

Lynn's POV :

alright a sleepover at Charlotte's, it isn't my first time sleeping over there so why am I freaking out

Thoughts were coming and going through my mind while I was recklessly packing my backpack, "why are you recklessly stuffing things in your bag ?" Creeped Lucy behind me, I turned around unfazed, "for your information, I'm sleeping over at Char's I'll finally have a day off getting the creeps form you" I told her turning around to finish packing the bag, I zipped it up and went downstairs, "see you tomorrow dad, see you tomorrow mom !" I yelled out going to the front door

"Tomorrow?" Came mom from the kitchen, "yeah, I'm staying at Char's, is that ok ?" I asked, "Char's ? Oh, alright, you know I noticed that you and Charlotte have been getting a little close these days, like at your father's half birthday" mom said smirking at my hot red face

"mom ! It's not like that, it's just- " I tried explaining to my mom before she cut me off, "honey, it's ok I don't mind you and Char being ... closer, you know"

I smiled at my mom thankful that she isn't against the idea hugging her, I let go of her "oh my kids are growing up so fast !" Mom cried out, making me cringe "God ! Mom ! You sound like one of those 60's moms I saw the other day on Tv" I laughed out making her cup my right cheek, then slapping it softly twice "but no funny business ma'am" mom told me going back to the kitchen making me go hot red again before leaving

Charlotte's POV :

Ok so Dean is finally asleep and everyone is coming and I have my mother's permission of course

I hear the doorbell so I go there to see Sarah and Kayla holding up their bags (their not sleeping over, they just have fun stuff to do in it) yelling "CHARLOTTE"

I let them in hugging them both, "oh my god, it's been so long, how are you guys !" I asked them, "we're great, wait" Sarah stopped talking and started sniffing the air, "are you baking cookies ?" Kayla asked so happy

"Oh yes, but we're gonna wait for another friend of mine that I want you guys to meet" I smiled thinking of Lynn, "ooh what kind of friend ? Is he cute" Sarah asked as we all sat down on the couch while Kayla sat on the floor with the blankets

"It's not a he" I said bluntly, looking at their shocked faces, "Nice, so who is this 'friend' that you straight up smiled just thinking of her" Kayla asked, smugly putting speech marks on the word 'friend'

"Her name is Lynn, and what are the speech marks for ?" I asked a little embarrassed from their teasing, then I heard the doorbell making us all know that Lynn is here

They both turned giving each other looks like this ⬇️ (😭)

Making me scoff and go to see who's at the door, I opened the door and saw Lynn wearing a backpack with her hair in her usual low ponytail

"Come in" I told her linking our arms together taking her to the living room were the girls are at, "Lynn these are Sarah and Kayla, guys this is Lynn" I introduced them standing a bit behind her then noticing the both of them smirking and I knew damn well they'd say something so I lined my thumb against my neck pretending to slit it making them both laugh

"Hi" they all said to each other then there was an awkward silence, making it torture for all of us, but the sound of the bell dinging meaning that the cookies are done saved us all, I went to the kitchen making Lynn put her bag down and follow me

"You didn't tell me that we were gonna have company here" Lynn asked a bit upset, "it's fine they'll just hang out then leave before midnight, but the sleepover is just for you, love" I replied putting my mittens on and taking the tray out of the oven but accidentally burned my arm making me Yelp and drop the tray on the counter

Lynn quickly rushed to me and checked my arm looking really concerned, I took the moment to stare at her, how worried she is, why does she care that much ? Her soft hands holding my arms checking for burns, God, she makes me so nervous, the simplest things she does, twists my stomach on the inside

Then Lynn turned to face me "are you ok, where does it hurt ?" Lynn asked frantically but then we both saw how close we are, how her hands were holding my arms how our noses were centimetres away from each other, I started to stare at her lips making her do the same, she leaned in slowly making me freak out and turn my whole body to where the cookies where, Lynn fixed her position standing straight, "they're probably waiting for the cookies, let's go" I said in a bit of a panic leaving the kitchen, Lynn looked up and grunted, "so close !"

I went to where Sarah and Kayla were and sat in the floor putting the tray on the coffee table, Lynn walked in and sat next to me and turned on a movie, we ate the cookies, and went on to do makeup

Sarah on Kayla and me on Lynn, while Sarah was talking about a boy in her Math class, "Lynn, stop moving, the eye liner will be crooked" I giggled making her grunt softly and try to stay as still as she can

*time skip where they're playing truth or dare*

We all sat around on a circle all having face masks on and Sarah spun the bottle making in turn to Kayla, "Truth or dare ?" Sarah asked, "Dare, I'm no coward" Kayla answered smugly, "I dare you to call your crush and ask them out" Sarah shrieked making me and Lynn look at Kayla to see if she chickened out she didn't, and the game went on but it was mostly all about crushes making Lynn a little pissed off, she just didn't like the subject, and maybe a little scared if someone asked her about her crush who was sitting right next to her

Kayla spinned it once again and it landed on me, "truth or dare ?"Kayla asked, "truth ? No no Dare ! no! Truth" I settled for Truth, "In this room, who is the most attractive one ?" Kayla looked at me smirking, "Lynn, straight away" I answered fast and proudly

In the corner of my eye I could see Lynn smiling at me which made the butterflies in my stomach explode, now it was my turn to spin the bottle making it land on Sarah and the game went on Lynn feeling a little more frustrated about all the crush questions

Lynn sighed roughly and got up, "we're you goin ?" I asked, "I'm going to the bathroom, anyone want anything on the way back ?" Lynn asked walking backwards to the bathroom, 'no' everyone mumbled, I got a little concerned so I went and followed her and saw that she wasn't in the bathroom, I looked around the house and saw her at my room

Lynn was looking around my room admiring my baby photos, "you know that's not the way to the bathroom" I said creeping her out, she jumped and turned to me "I was excited to get a break from Lucy and now you ?" Lynn laughed awkwardly looking everywhere except my eyes

"Hey are you ok ?" I ask walking up to her and pulling her to sit on my bed with me, "I just don't find that questions about crushes really is my thing, I feel left out in the conversation" Lynn mumbled fidgeting with her hands making me put my hand on hers to stop her

"It's ok to feel that way sometimes, if you ever feel a tad bit nervous, scared, jealous, uncomfortable, sick, tired or mad always remember that I will be here, I will always stay around with you, you fell in the whole by being my friend in the second grade so you asked for it" I chuckled at the last part making her look at me

We held eye contact and I put a hair behind Lynn's ear, "I love you Lynn" I told her making her eyes widen, realising what I said I covered it up with, "your my best friend"

I could see the pain in her eyes and how her face fell but why ?

"You the best friend anyone could ever ask for" Lynn told me softly before I left the room to see Sarah and Kayla

Lynn's POV :

Best friend

That really twisted my stomach, in the wrong way, but I couldn't blame her honestly, I would too freak out if my best friend confessed to me, I went to the mirror and pulled my ponytail down trying something knew

Maybe it's the low ponytail, or my bushy eyebrows? What's wrong with me ? What do I have to change

I brushed through my hair then heard someone say goodbye and the door closing making me turn to the clock seeing that it's past midnight, so I got in my pijamas

Char walked in as soon as I was in my pijamas she took her pijamas and left to go change in the bathroom

Charlotte's POV :

I went to the bathroom and got changed into our matching pijamas

But I also happen to notice that Lynn's hair is down, it's been so long since I've seen it down and does she look beautiful, she looked beautiful before but now even hotter

Just the tiniest detail can change the whole perspective of a person, I walked back into the room where Lynn was, "you look so pretty with your hair down, did I ever tell you that ?" I complemented her then noticed her face turning red making me feel proud that I made her a little nervous so I wanted to tease her a bit more

So when she went to sit on my bed, I walked up to her and straddled her lap putting my arms around her neck while her hands were on my waist looking up at me "hey" I asked softly, her eyes widened, hot red face while looking really really scared, after a few seconds I wanted to even tease her more

I cupped both of her cheeks with my hands staring straight into her eyes leaning in but then went to kiss her forehead lasting about 5 seconds, then pulling away looking at her frozen state making me laugh and fall next to her on the bed making Lynn get out of her trance and slap my thigh "Don't ever tease me again like this, because if you are going to you have to do it properly like this" Lynn said her voice sounding a little controlling

She got on top of my both of her hands on the sheets of the bed on the sides of my head her legs around mine staring at me, damn, did she have control over me ? Yes she did, do I like it ? Yes I do

She leaned in towards my lips closing her eyes making me close mine too, I wanted to feel her lips against mine so bad but then felt it on my cheek I opened my eyes to see Lynn looking at me smiling softly

Alright, it's now or never

I lifted my head and grabbed Lynn's face, crashing our lips together, then we turned around and now I was laying on top of Lynn, the kiss got heated making me tug and twirl her hair while she was grabbing my lower waist

I pulled away looking at her beautiful green eyes, our lips slightly swollen

Lynn got up and looked to me, there was no other way to say it, "Char you must know that what you did was a very big thing" Lynn told me referring to the thing

"I know! I'm sorry Lynn I don't know what came over me, I didn't mean to make you uncomf- " Lynn cut me off by pulling me in for another kiss that was less heated, way less heated

"I like you Char, I really like you, I like how you always put your friends before you, how you immediately ditched Theo after he was a threat to us, how you always cared for me.

will you go out with me ?" Lynn confessed holding my right cheek staring through me eyes

I jumped on her pushing her against the mattress "I would love to !" I squealed

I got off and went to lay down Lynn came and laid  down next to me kinda far, "what are you doing, come closer" I patted the empty spot next to me, she giggled and scooted closer my arm holding her waist while she laid her head on my chest, my other hand brushing through her hair

I can't believe that Lynn likes me back

Lynn's POV :

Have I ever thought that this could happen, no

Hearing her heartbeat was somehow comforting, just knowing that she's alive and next to me
and I'm going out with her, can't believe it

I looked at my bruised arm from all of the pinching that I gave myself to make sure that it's not a dream

"Good night Char"
"Good night Lynn"
