3:12 am

Lynn's POV :

I was awoken by movement from the bed, I turned around and saw Dean shaking Char trying to wake her up

"Buddy, no no no don't wake her up" I mumbled rubbing my eyes getting up

"I can't sleep, I want char" Dean whisper whined, "I can help, want a cup of milk ?" I asked

Dean shook his head, "I want my sister" he replied, "well your sister needs to sleep, tell you what, how would you like for me to read you a story ?" I said getting up and sitting on the edge of the bed

"Lynn, do you like my sister ?" Dean asked tilting his head, "yes, yes I do" I answered him smiling,    "When she looks like that ?" Dean cringed looking at char

Char was having both of her arms above her head, some hair in her open mouth with a leg out of the blanket, softly snoring

I chuckled looking at Char, smiling softly, "especially when she looks like that, alright buddy, let's go to bed" I got up holding his hand leaving the room and closing the door behind us

I put Dean in bed and got him a glass of milk and put it on his nightstand, tucking him in, I went to his bookshelf and grabbed one and read it to him, I must have been really tired cause I fell asleep on the end of his bed as soon as he slept

Charlotte's POV:

I got up not finding Lynn next to me, I looked everywhere then found her sleeping next to Dean, I leaned against the doorframe smiling at them

"You know it's creepy staring at sleeping people" Lynn said her eyes still closed, I jumped then brushed it off "come on, I'm making breakfast" I said walking out of the room, I heard bed shuffling knowing that Lynn is coming

I grabbed a pan and three eggs, cracked them and started mixing them making scrambled eggs, as I was mixing I felt warm arms wrapping around my waist, Lynn laid her chin on my left shoulder

I sighed softly still scrambling starting to hum, Lynn still hugging me from behind, "Lynn can you grab Kiri cheese please, for the eggs" Lynn grunted upset about letting go and went to the fridge getting the cream cheese, she tried opening the lid but struggled (surprisingly)

I went to her tried taking the jar out of her hands but she pulled back and insisted on opening it, after multiple tries and a few grunts and frustrated groans  here and there she stopped looking at me who was smiling smugly at her and holding my hand out

She handed me the jar disappointed, I taped the jar from the bottom and the top then opened it easily looking at slightly jealous Lynn

I chuckled and went to grab some baby tomatoes (I don't know why a lot of people hate tomatoes, it's the most delicious thing ever) and started cutting them in half's since they're already too tiny and placed them on slices of bread, with the breakfast ready i went to wake Dean up and everyone ate quietly, peacefully quiet

*time skip to an hour before the date*

Lynn's POV :

Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit

If you can't already tell, I'm freaking out, it's my first date and my first date is with the literally the best person ever, I called a meeting in the living room for all my sisters since Lincoln is busy trying to impress a girl I don't know who has it worse, me or Lincoln

"What's with the fuss ?" "What's going on ?" "Another 2 hour meeting" everyone were mumbling loudly as they sat on the couch, I stood there tense looking at them, them looking at me, I took a deep breath and told them calmly

Well, not really

"Imgoingonadatewithsomeoneandineedyourhelpcauseidontknowhatimdoingandimfreakingoutandireallydontwanttomessthisup !" I jabbered out

Everyone looked at me confused, making me take another longer deep breath, "I'm going on a date with someone, and I need your help cause I don't know what I'm doing and I'm freaking out and I really don't want to mess this up" I told them more slower

They were all frozen then they ran over squealing and squeezing me "oh my god !" "Who is he ?" "do we know him ?" "I can already tell that he's handsome !" "Sigh"

The whole situation was uncomfortable, "him" ? "he" ? no, I can't tell them that it's char, I don't know what their reaction is going to be

After 10 minutes of tips and questions that I didn't answer I finally went to Luna's room since it's her turn to help

I walked in her room and close the door behind me, Luan wasn't there in the room so Lynn could tell her, "It's char" I told her straight up still standing on the door with my hands on the handle

I felt like I could tell Luna, I think she's the one that will understand me and help me a lot with her knowing who it is

"Char" Luna conformed, "finally took you the guts to ask her out ?" She chuckled standing up, "huh ?" I let go of the door, "you can't possibly think that I don't know what's going on, I see how you look at her, I see how you smile when you talk about her, how your always try to include her when she's left out, how you always look at her for confirmation before doing something stupid and she usually doesn't let you, and don't think that I forgot about what happened at dad's half birthday"

I sighed then pulled Luna's collar roughly, " help me !" I whisper yelled then slid down the floor dramatically

Charlotte's POV :

I walked down the stairs ready for the date, late, worried if I'm doing something wrong, going out with Lynn, I'm definitely gonna mess things up

(Replace the earring with normal pearl earrings, with a black leather coat)

I heard laughing coming from the kitchen, I followed the laughter only to be seeing Mom with a guy, with wine and Mom was dressed up, I should be the one thats pretty this night

Mom spotted me staring and cleared her throat, "sweetie, this is my friend Joe, Joe this is my daughter Charlotte" Joe smiled at me, "pleased to meet you Charlotte"

(Cutie)

I fake smiled "yeah, you too, Mom" I raised my eyebrows leaving the room signaling her to follow me

"Who's he ?" I asked, "I just told you, his name-" "No, Mom, who is he !" I cut her of furious this time

Mom took a deep breath, "he's my boyfriend" I chuckled sarcastically "and when were you going to tell me about this boyfriend, Mom ?" I asked crossing my arms

"Soon" Mom sighed out not looking at my eyes, "soon" I mocked "when is soon ?"

She looked at me straight through the eyes and I got my coat and left

Why am I mad, you may ask, I'm mad at how my Mom didn't tell me about him, I mean, I didn't tell her about Lynn but it doesn't matter cause I'm a kid, she is an adult with two kids, maybe she should care about her kids a little more (relatable 😭)

Lynn's POV :

She's late

I was sitting at Jean Juan's French mex, waiting for the past 20 minutes, it's really frustrating the waitress

"are you ready to order ?" The waitress asked me glumly, I looked around the table and grabbed the empty bowl that used to be for free bread, "more bread please" I fake chuckled

All I could hear is my nails tapping on the table the noise of all the plates

I heard the door open, I swing my head to see if it's Char, no

15 minutes later

Now it was really frustrated me, if she really didn't want to go on a date with me, she could've just said so

As I was grabbing my stuff ready to leave I heard the door open behind me

"Lynn !" I froze and turned to see her, "oh my god, I'm so sorry I really didn't mean to be late" she told me out of breath, she was clearly running but still, I grabbed my stuff and headed to the door

Char fast walked to get ahead of me to stop me from getting out

Charlotte's POV:

"Please Lynn, I really am sorry, I had drama at home with my mom, please don't leave" I practically begged her

(Btw there isn't anyone in the restaurant except for the waitress, she's in the kitchen)

Lynn looked at my eyes to see if I was lying, put then started looking at my lips, I got major butterflies, my reflexes acted before me

I grabbed Lynn's cheek and pulled her into a kiss, it was soft yet meaningful, she slid her hands on my back, while I held an arm with my left hand and held her cheek with my right hand

I pulled away and looked at her, she looked way less tense, "how about we sit down and enjoy our date ?" I ask

Lynn smiled softly and kissed my left cheek, "of course"

I don't take full credit, the winner gave me this idea, really really good ideas you got there

I hope you liked the little mom drama, but I mostly liked when asked Luna for help
