((This is back when Mayura was first a goddess, now since I'm lazy to tell her beginning in the story, might as well do it here. Mayura was indeed a child once except her name was originally "Macy", but she was the only person in her family that was born with powers and all sorts of magic of a goddess. Her parents were shot but the person that killed them, didn't kill her. She was left as an orphan and was eventually found by Louis and Markus. The two boys were indeed brothers, and they were Mayura's age. Years later, the boys have been close friends with Mayura. And then later on, they met Shad, Arex, Malum and eventually Crimson Fox.. I will shut up now and continue with the story.))

~Mayura's P.O.V. ~

I can't believe it's my birthday already. The years go by so fast. I sure hope Markus doesn't make me embarrassed like last year. Arex has been nothing but a pain in the a** these part decades. Someone needs to teach that kid some respect, I swear. I was just entering the Louis's mansion when I heard a bloodcurdling scream from the second floor. I rushed up there fast to see what was going on. "Louis!! Markus!!" I called out to do them. But no response. I started walking around to see if I could find them, but I couldn't. Bit I heard the faint sound of footsteps behind me, then a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and growled at the person. It was just Malum. I stopped growling and backed away from him. "Hey, no need to be scared Mayura, it's just me." Malum said. I was so scared, I couldn't even speak. "Mayura.." Malum started to say, but I quickly teleported away from him. I have never been this scared in my life.

Flashback....
~Macy's (Mayura's) P.O.V~ (still her POV. In this flashback, Macy is 10)

Walking home with my mom and dad after visiting a friend. It was really late and really cold outside. I could hear footsteps behind us, then I heard the sound of a gunshot... right behind us. I looked at my dad, his head was blown off. Blood stained the concrete and it was extremely messy. My mother screamed in fear. You see, a lot of people hated my family, but my parents never told me why. My mom took my hand and ran away quickly down an alley. She told me with tears in her eyes, "Macy, be a good girl and listen to me. Whatever you do, DO NOT use your powers to revive any of us, run away and hide. I love you sweetheart." She kissed my forehead and she ran out of the alley. I heard a gunshot... then nothing... no sounds.. nothing.. it all went quiet...
