You will wake up and join the crew above. Cedar is the only one absent.

"Where's Cedar?"

Rand: "He's still in his room. He said he would join us later. But we need to get into you. You can't always stay in our aid. So we'll be looking into getting you set up with a team to go."

Cedar *After arriving*: "Huh? How'd you get up before me?"

"Do you really want that answer?"

"I have no idea."

(Both answer will lead to one solo reply)

Cedar: "Anyways... what's happening?"

Midnight: "First! Report?"

Cedar: "Hm? Oh! Uh... from what I got from the small Narturid, it looks like the problem is striking the whole universe."

Malov: "We can't have that! What should we do?"

Chris: "We can't all go. We have to keep people here for protection and reports."

Rand: "And plus, the Chairperson will try to replace our spots. We need at least a semi full team."

Zaulen: "So we're badly limited..."

Parchment: "There has to be a way that we can-"

Midnight: "HOLD! WAIT!"

Everyone falls silent as he sits down and grabs his ears. It takes him about a few seconds to calm down before he stands back up.

Midnight: "Best option... send one to aid this. (Y/N) here for reason. So one shall join help."

"Are you sure?"

"Then... who?"

(Option 1:)

Midnight: "(Y/N), thing happen before Cedar find you in water. That thing be danger in universe. Might hold you memory."

(Option 2:)

Midnight's eyes lit up.

Midnight: "That i you choice. But limit... pick one crew."

(This is your biggest choice. You have the option of 7 people, which will affect mostly dialogue. But for this, I will be picking Cedar because that is how I preplanned most of the story. So if you want the dialogue for the other characters, let me know.)

Your options:

Midnight: has a huge pokemon availability, a combo with Pichu, and has a large variety of magical abilities.

Parchment: will have the lands at her command, will be able to get to places both faster and easier, has more options in dialogue.

Rand: minor light skills and will be great in dark areas to light it up.

Chris: best in overly extreme places and can quickly warm/cool off team.

Malov: will have several huge affects for the team and will keep everyone in battle ready.

Zaulen: will keep everyone up to full health and will provide constant regen even without being in the front.

Cedar: will have a large skill set and combos, can take over the battle if your team is too wounded, has the most interesting dialogue, can support the team in most ways.

You can only choose one.

(Like I said, I will be choosing Cedar because of his interesting dialogue. But I will star Parchment's other options.)

Cedar: "M-me? Uh..."

Parchment: "Cedar, it'll be a good choice. Plus, you can gain your first bond."

Cedar: "I... guess... but that means you all can't get damaged!"

Malov: "Me and Zaulen will make sure of that! We won't let this team fall in your absence!"

Cedar: "Thanks..."

Rand: "One more thing, (Y/N). Dragonair can't fight alone. I say we drop by my house and see Nema. She's always ready with team help."

A small house awaits as the ship docks. A small girl awaits.

Girl: "Dad! Crew! Welcome!"

Midnight: "Nema!"

The others laugh as the small kids hug.

Rand: "Never going to get that out of our heads.... Nema! Come here for a sec!"

Nema: "Ok! What is it?"

Rand: "This is (Y/N). They are in need of some help with a team to sort out a universe problem. We will be back for lunch later. Can you help them out?"

Nema: "Sure! Come on!"

Nema: "Hm..."

"What?"

Nema: "Got it! Two things! One, let's get you a starter. These might help you out."

(This is sorta limited. But this is because I don't want you to entirely have full reign. So you will have this.)

You will choose one type and then you'll have to choose one pokemon. You will not be able to choose more than one pokemon or one type.

Water Types

Squirtle, Totodile, Mudkip, Piplup, Oshawott, Froakie, Poplio, Sobble

Fire Types

Charmander, Cyndaquil, Torchic, Chimchar, Tepig, Fennekin, Litten, Scorbunny

Grass Types

Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treecko, Turtwig, Snivy, Chespin, Rowlet, Grookey

Others

Eevee, Pikachu, Pichu, Plusle, Minun, Foongus

(I will be choosing Squirtle because it's awesome and I like the water types the best.)

(A side note would be in the future choosings. I'm choosing Squirtle because it has the most neutral effect on all of the choosings. But if I were to pick Charmander, there is a teammate choice you CANNOT pick in the Fiore Sector because you will not be able to use that character and Charmander's final evolution together. Be careful of that.)

Nema: "Squirtle? Not a bad choice. It's very friendly. I'm sure you'll get along. Now to the other thing. I made this recently and it might help you. It's called a Ufxoid and it's built to help people with their teams."

She quickly straps a glove like item on your wrist area and attaches the device to it. She puts something else on the other side.

Nema: "And done! That should help you out!"

"You have successfully lost me."

"Um... ok?"

Nema: "Don't worry. I'm not just going to make you leave without explaining it. Here, I'll have this Pichu help."

(This is the biggest tutorial because you stop the entire storyline to do it. Basically, she will be showing you the Dex function, the PC function, the Team Changer function, the Setup function and other functions. She will also show you how to scan a pokemon/object, switch your team around and how to check your inventory.)

Nema: "Got that?"

"I hope so..."

"Yeah!"

"Not really..."

Nema: "In case you forget, I made sure to put the manual in this pocket. Hope that helps."

"Thanks, Nema. You have been very helpful."

Nema: "No problem! Now let's see if the others are there."

Cedar: "Hey. looking sharp there, (Y/N)."

"Are you trying to be a flirt?"

Cedar: "No... I'm just... wait what!?"

Nema: "Relax you two. Besides... don't you have a girlfriend, Cedar?"

Cedar: "Huh? Who told you that?"

Nema: "You did! Wasn't there a girl in Fiore?"

Cedar: "Uh... you... can sorta say that... but not entirely..."

Nema: "A Boy?"

Cedar: "Uh..."

His face gained a deep red as he thought about it before he winced.

Cedar: "Oh no you don't little girl! You ain't pulling anything outta me!"

Nema: "Tee hee! I'm going inside to make food!"

As she leaves, Cedar sighs.

Cedar: "Annoying little girl... oh well... oh! We should do some bonding. Y'know, training and getting to know each other's skills."

"I like that idea. C'mon."

You and Cedar quickly do some quick training and bonding. Squirtle kept tension away while Dragonair kept the group mostly safe.

Cedar: "We make a great team... thanks for letting me join."

"No problem. You seem like you're having fun."

Cedar laughed slightly as Squirtle and Dragonair cheered.

Cedar: "You guys..."

"Why are you so down all the time? Brighten up! You are ten times better when you smile and show true happiness."

Cedar's eyes flashed as a smile crossed your face. He seemed lost until he smiled.

Cedar: "Hey! That's not fair! But... you got me..."

A roar followed, spooking the group.

Cedar: "W-what was that...?"

No answer came as the group was attacked and Cedar was almost thrown off a cliff. You grabbed him just before he got too far.

Cedar: "(Y/N)! Go! I can handle myself! I'll meet up with you later!"

(This is the first plot twist choice. Whatever you choose will slightly change the plot.)

"... then be careful!"

"Sorry but..."

* "No! We're fighting together!"

(option 1)

(This option will lead to a losing battle that will really affect your bond with you and your pokemon)

Cedar nodded as you let go and turn to the attacker.

(Option 2)

(This option will affect your bond with Cedar and you will trigger several more options)

Cedar yelped as you pulled him back up and you tumbled off.

"Be safe!"

Cedar panicked as he tried to grab for you, but was unsuccessful. He trembled as he sat down.

Cedar: "(Y/N)..."

He growled as a dark aura encased him and he turned to the attacker.

Cedar: "That... is... it... NOW YOU'RE DEAD!"

(Option 3 will result in you pulling Parchment up and you two will fight together against the problem. She is one of the only one with this option. Also, most of the rest of this scene will not happen)

(Most of the following scenes will be altered depending on who you actually chose. If you chose Parchment and chose the third option, almost none of the following will happen.)

You woke up to Squirtle and Dragonair shaking you awake.

"Ow..."

You looked around and remembered that Cedar was still above. Instantly you get up and start working to rejoin him.

(In a game version, you will be working through normal pokemon game problems; wild pokemon, trainers, and wildlife obstacles.)

When you finally make it up to the cliff top, the battle is cleared up and Cedar is on the ground.

"Cedar!"

He remained quiet and his head stayed down. You pause as you carefully went over.

"Cedar?"

Nothing happens as he shifts only slightly. Squirtle goes up to him and is able to hug him. Cedar relaxes slightly to that as you pick him up.

"Squirtle, keep him calm. Dragonair, keep the path clear. Let's go!"

(If you picked option 2, you will finish the fight and will be waiting for Cedar to rejoin you. He will be extremely tired, in which you'll have to help him back.)

Midnight: "Hey! How'd- Cedar!?"

The others get to your side almost immediately. Cedar still hadn't moved from his frozen/tired position.

Malov: "What happened?"

You quickly explain what happened before Zaulen takes him.

Zaulen: "I'll get him checked immediately. Everyone stay calm."

Silence followed as you and the others waited. Zaulen came up with a frown.

Zaulen: "He's physically ok, which is good. But something we're missing must've happened that is keeping him down."

Midnight: "But... Cedar k?"

Zaulen: "For the most part. I think rest will determine that."

You relaxed near Cedar until he woke up later.

Cedar: "Hm....?"

"Cedar?"

"Hey..."

His eyes met yours.

Cedar: "(Y/N)..."

He shook his head before he smiled.

Cedar: "You're ok..."

"You gave the whole crew a heart attack. What happened?"

Cedar lowered his head, avoiding your gaze.

Cedar: "I..."

"Was it something on the cliff?"

"Were you that concerned?"

"Cedar..."

Cedar sighed faintly...

Cedar: "Multiple things... first you going over the cliff... then the attacker... then..."

He falls silent as he pauses.

"What happened?"

Cedar: "..."

Chris came in and smiled.

Chris: "Ah... you're ok... good to see you awake."

Cedar: "Chris..."

Chris: "Let me guess... you snapped."

Cedar says nothing as he lowered his head.

Cedar: "Not... snapped... per say..."

Chris: "Cracked?"

Cedar looked away with a soft noise.

Cedar: "Sorry..."

Chris: "Oh come on, Cedar. You can't be sorry if you did a good job."

Cedar says nothing as he pulls the blanket over his head and hides.

Chris: "Oh boy..."

"Split it up you two."

"Is there something I'm missing?"

(Option 1)

Cedar makes a soft noise in reply as Chris laughs.

Chris: "Come on, (Y/N). You have to loosen him up. He's either too tense or is struggling to find a source of a smile. And I mean a real one, not whatever he has with him."

Cedar poked his head out of the blanket briefly.

Cedar: "Chris, no one asked you."

Chris: "If you're going to threaten me, why don't you do your damage out in the open?"

Cedar falls quiet before going back under.

"What do you mean by that?"

(Option 2)

Cedar: "No! Don't you even!"

Chris: "What are you going to do? Strike me down?"

Cedar says nothing and motion comes.

(Both options will lead here)

Chris: "Cedar... is very unstable. He can't control most of his needs or his instability. While some people can sometimes handle how they act during a breakdown or just pure anger, he can't, leading to mass destruction and chaos to those around him. One small crack could lead to buildings going missing. The bigger the crack, the worse the damage. But he's been controlling his snaps for limited reasons."

Cedar pulled his head out of the blanket as he sat up.

Cedar: "I never mean it... but-"

He sighed.

Cedar: "It's never been easy to control such a power."

"You're afraid?"

"That won't make a difference to me."

(Option 1)

Cedar: "You could say that... I just... don't want you to be a victim..."

"You've done so good though."

Cedar stayed quiet.

(Option 2)

Cedar glanced at you.

Cedar: "Are you sure? I don't want you to be too hurt..."

"You didn't hurt me the entire time I was trying to get up to you and you didn't attack me once I got to you. I have full confidence that you can keep going."

Cedar went quiet before smiling.

Cedar: "In that case... I'll... keep going!"

"That's the spirit!"

(Both choices will lead here.)

Chris: "Well... you two should leave as soon as possible. (Y/N), if you need to shift Cedar out because of something, we'll be here."

"Got it. Take care of yourselves."

You and Cedar will leave the ship with faint mutters from Cedar.

(Best option is whatever matches the last option)

"Are you serious?"

"What?"

(Option 1)

He blinked.

Cedar: "What?"

"You're muttering."

Cedar: "Hm? Oh sorry. My head is still at the snap..."

(Option 2)

Cedar: "Hm? Oh... my bad. Just... thinking about what could happen."

"If you don't relax, I'm going to smack a smile on your face and run for the hills."

Cedar: "Huh!? Oh no you don't! I'm not being played again!"

"Hm... how about this... who's the special person that has my teammates heart?"

Cedar's face warmed up before he flinched.

Cedar: "(Y/N)!

"Aw... someone's in love!"

Cedar: "Trickster!"

"But you're adorable!"

Cedar: "N-no! Uh... let's just go! We may be limited, but we can see if another sector has ideas."

"You're trying to get out of embarrassment."

Cedar: "No!"

"Wait a minute! Just now you were muttering about your heart's soulmate, weren't you!?"

Cedar: "N-n-no-! Hey! Stop that!"

"We know what's happening when I find the other half!"

Cedar: "Huh!? On no you're not!"

"Come on! Let's go!"

Cedar: "Meanie!"
