I was panic stricken for Emerald. Why had I sent her there?!?! How could I message her? I can't go to Earth, some gems could check on me at any moment since I'm a mechanic. Jasper left to go tell some more gems about the news. She may seem gruff, but she isn't that bad. I wonder what Peridot found it since there are so many, just so we can use them as walking archives.

There goes my alarm to go toYellow Diamond's temple to see if she needed anything fixed, which is quite a lot because of her anger issues. I walked out of my room and out into the rocky square of Homeworld. Homeworld was very simply laid out: in the center of the planet was the large square that had no building sites so we could use it for our weekly briefings, the were scattered temples or just plain rooms off of the square, after the living areas were the mines which is where we harvest and create new gems. Lastly there is the mighty Diamond temple, home to the Diamond Authority. All authorized gems were aloud access to the massive place. It was where we made battle plans, broadcasted announcements, and set up colonies.
We haven't set up a colony in a few thousand years, when the war against Pink Diamond and the rebels started and ended. During that time, White and Blue Diamond disappeared. No one thinks that they were popped, but instead enslaved. Since they were mainly in charge of colonies while Yellow Diamond ruled Homeworld, our empire has not expanded.
  I had managed to get a temple right at the Square since I was head mechanic. As I made it across the Square to The Diamond's temple, I noticed something odd. There were no other gems. The Square was deserted.
