"Welcome to initiation," Six shouted across the room. "Possibly the hardest five weeks of your life."

"Three weeks will be spent on physical, pushing your body to breaking point. The next two will be mental. Pushing you even further onto the edge of insanity." Four concluded.

We started out with punching bags. Too easy, I've been doing this since I could walk.

After lunch we came back in to find we were knife throwing.

They showed us the basics then something that nearly gave me a heart attack.

"Six," Four shouted. "Let's show these idiots what it means to be Dauntless."

Six whined. "I always have to do it! Why can't you?!"

"I promise I won't get your ear this time."

"You say that every time." Six groaned before standing in front of the target.

Four brought a knife up to aim and was going to let go when-

"WAIT!" A voice cried. All eyes turned to me. It suddenly dawned on me that it was my voice.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and walked forward ever so slightly. "I'll do it." Six's eyes lit up.

Six stepped away from the target leaving an empty space for me to stand.

I gingerly take her place and look at Four. Six stands beside him.

They look proud. I'm glad it was me who made them look like that.

My eyes lock on Zaid's. I smile at him as a knife comes flying towards me.

I don't move. Just look at Zaid.

Then another knife comes flying.

"What happened?" Six asked motioning to the bandage still wrapped around my fresh tattoo.

After the whole knife throwing saga Four announced that we had finished early today but asked for me to stay behind.

"Oh, I got a tattoo. That's all." Six nods but Four looks sad.

"Can we see?" Four asks.

I carefully unwrap the bandage shwoing them my inked up skin.

Six smiles. "They're..."

"They're like your birds. But I have 5."

"What do the five represent?"

"One for you, Dad, Tobs, Tay and Tori." Tears prickle Six's eyes.

"That's beautiful Tessa." She wraps me in a hug. "I'm so proud of you. We both are."

Four looks happy but sad also. "My baby girl's all grown up."

I laugh. "Have another baby girl, or boy."

Both their cheeks go fifty shades of red. (A/N I just had to.)

"Ew. Go before you end up making babies in the training room." This makes them blush harder before they leave in an almost run.

I think this is worthy of a vomiting moment.
