Tris's POV

"I still say Batman is better." Uriah says. Zeke shakes his head.

"No! Batman is just some rich buisness man who had the money to build his weapons. He ain't got no real super powers. Spiderman is defiantly better." Zeke defends. We are currently sitting in our spot out side of the school just as we do every morning before school starts. The entire group is here, all but one person. Tobias. I'm starting to get worried. He is usually here by now and if he doesn't come to school he texts me.

"Holy crap." Zeke says staring at something in the parking lot. I look over there and see a beaten and battered Tobias. He has deep cuts all over his face which is a mixture of black, blue, and purple. He is walking with an awful limp and with every step he takes he winces. He is wearing glasses but I can tell that his eyes look just as bad. This is really surprising. Usually when he gets hurt he uses cover up and no one ever notices, but anyone with eyes can tell that he is injured.

Everything is silent and everyone is staring, but he just ignores them. When he gets over to us I get up and slowly help him sit down. He tries to give me a smile but I can tell it hurts. I stare at him for a couple of seconds then take off his glasses. We all gasp at what we see. Tobias's eyes are blood shot from what looks like lack of sleep along with bags under his eyes. They are also a weird shade of black, blue, and purple just as his face, but that's not the bad part. He has cuts around and even some inside of his eyes which just adds to the redness.

"Tobias!" I gasp out quietly.

"What did you do to piss him of this much?" Uriah asks his voice filled with shock and anger. Tobias sighs and puts his glasses back on.

"I was how he put it 'disrespectful to my mother'." Even his voice sounds bad. When he speaks his voice is hoarse and he takes a deep breath after every word.

"I thought your mom was... you know... dead." Christina says hesitant about the word but Tobias doesn't seem affected from it.

"She is." He says. We all look at him confused. Why would Marcus say that then? He seems to get that we are confused because he speaks again,"He is getting married." My eyes widen. Marcus, married?

"Who would marry him?" Will asks

"Jeanine." He answers. We all gasp in disbelief.

"Your joking." Lynn says

Tobias sighs,"I wish I was."

"You can't live like this." Shauna says.

He shakes his head,"I have to. Justin doesn't know this but I made a deal with Marcus. If I stay here until college he won't lay a finger on Justin and Hannah. We have only couple more months of senior year then I can get out of here, but until then I have to make sure they stay safe."

"So are you still going to Chicago University with your scholorship?" Christina asks

Tobias shakes his head,"Actually I don't think I am."

"What!? Why not!?" Zeke exclaims.

"Well I got a offer for a record label." Tobias says.

"No way really!?" I exclaim. He smiles and nods.

"With who?" Marlene asks

"Dauntless Records."

"Oh my gosh! That's the best recording company ever!" Christina shrieks.

He grins,"Yeah it is! So if I really go through with this then I won't go to college but now that I think about it I'm not to sure." He says

"No! You have to take this offer. I know all of your life you have dreamed about going to Chicago University on a football scholarship, but this is a one in a lifetime chance. Not everyone gets the chance to work with a world famous record company. I say you take this offer you really do have an amazing talent that needs to be discovered." I say. Everyone agrees with me and Tobias thinks for a couple of seconds and then nods.

"I think I'm going to take this offer. Thank you Tris." He says

I smile and gently kiss him,"Of course."

"So when are you going to start?" Will asks

"Oh that reminds me. Yesterday I set up a meeting for today at noon with Amar. I completly forgot we had school today." He says

"Then go. You can leave school for a day." I say

He smiles at me,"I love you so much."

"I love you too."

"Tell ya what. Come over to my house after school. No one is going to be home tonight." He says.

"I would love to." I reply. He gives me one last, soft kiss and walks or should I say limp back to his car.

"Love you too buddy!" Zeke yells at Tobias sarcastically. The bell then rings. I roll my eyes at Zeke and walk to my first class.

*Time lapse*

"Have fun tonight." Christina says wiggling her eyes brows. I roll my eyes and hop in my car. I decide to go to my house first t let my parents know where I'm going.

"Mom dad, Caleb anyone home!?" I yell when I step inside.

"Beatrice honey we're in the living room try looking before you yell." My mom says. I throw my bag on the floor and walk into the living room where my mom, dad, and Caleb sit.

"Mom how many times do I have to tell you to call me Tris." I say

"Hey kiddo." My dad says ruffling my hair as I sit down next to him.

"What do you need Tris?" My mom asks

"What makes you think I need something?" I ask innocently

Caleb rolls his eyes,"You were yelling looking for one of us you obviously needed something."

I sigh,"Fine. Can I go over to Four's house?"

"Of course sweetie!" My mom exclaims,"Next time bring him over here we haven't seen him in a while!"

I chuckle,"Ok mom will do. See you later guys!"

"Have fun with your little boyfriend!" My dad says in a sing-song voice.

I stick my tounge at him,"See ya!" I run over to Tobias's house and knock on the door. The door opens to a smiling Tobias. He steps out of the way.

"Come on in ma' lady." He says in a fancy accent.

"Thank you kind sir." I say in the same accent as him. He holds out his arms and wrap my arm around his.

"Right this way." He says still in the accent then leads me into the kitchen. He pulls out the chair at the island.

"Are you hungry?" He asks and right on cue my stomach rumbles. He laughs,"I will take that as a yes. I'm gonna make you some dinner."

I shake my head,"No no you don't have to do that."

He gives me a look,"Yes I am. How about your favorite?"

My eyes light up,"spagetti?"

He chuckles,"I thought you would be happy."

I nod excited,"Yeah! I always try to make it but it never comes out right." I pout.

He leans across the counter and kisses me,"Yeah I heard."

I make a face,"Who told you?"

"Your dad." He answers

I roll my eyes,"Of course."

Tobias smiles,"I think it's cute. Come on I will teach you." I grin and jump out of the chair running over to where Tobias is standing.

*Another Time lapse :p I know you love these*

"This is so confusing!" I exclaim

Tobias rolls his eyes,"How is it confusing? All you have to do is put the meat that is on the plate into the pot with the sauce in it."

"But how much of it do I put in?"

"For the a hunderth time all of it." I slowly nod and hesitantly pour all of the meat into the pot.

Tobias slowly claps in a mocking way,"There you go."

"Hey! That was really hard!" I defend

"Wow you really are a blonde." He retorts (A/N: This is not in an offensive way. I'm a blonde and I have to admit I am really slow like a blonde.)

I slap his arm lightly,"Hey!"

He chuckles and kisses me,"You know I love you."

I smile and put my arms around his neck,"I know." I lean in closer and our lips connect. We kiss for a while then I pull away and he makes a puppy dog face which I have to admit is the cutest thing in the world.

"Your such a tease." He pouts

I laugh,"Your sauce is gonna burn."

"Oh rightttt forgot." He draws out then turns off the stove.

"Ok you hungry?" He asks

"Heck yeah I am!" He chuckles and makes the plates then puts them on the table. I take a bite and instantly moan.

"Oh my shizzle! This is amazing!" I exclaim and start shoveling more in my mouth.

He makes a face,"How lady like."

I smirk and open my mouth,"It's good look!"

Tobias rolls his eyes,"Your such a child."

"You know you love me!" I exclaim in a sing song voice. He grins and nods his head.

"That I do." When we finish our food we wash our plates.

"Wanna watch a movie?" He asks

I nod my head,"Let's watch Frozen!"

He rolls his eyes but takes it out,"You are obssessed."

"That I am." He turns on the movie and I snuggle up to his side. He puts his arm around me and kisses my head.

The movie was soon forgotten and we were sitting on the couch making out. Tobias's shirt comes off and I snap back to reality. I pull back and he looks at me concerned.

"What's wrong?" He asks

"Nothing. It's- it's just that-I'm afraid of doing that." I say hesitantly.

He sighs and hugs me,"Tris you could of told me. You know I wouldn't make you do something that you don't want to."

"What if I want to?" I ask my voice muffled by his chest. He pulls away and looks at me.

"Are you sure?" He asks

I nod,"Positive."

*Sorry last time lapse! This is a week after!*

I groan and lean against the bath tube. All morning I have been puking my guts out and I have no idea why. All I know is that I feel like crap. My phone starts to ring on my bathroom sink. I climb over to it and Christina's name pop up.

(Tris is normal Christina is bold)

"Hello?"

"Oh thank goodness your alive! Why aren't you at school today?"

"My mom made me stay home. I woke up puking and my mom claimed that I can't go to school like that."

"She's right. Is she home with you?"

"No she had to go on a bunch of erands which will probably take all day."

"So no one is home with you?"

"No."

"Ok I'm coming over."

"Wait what?"

"I'm coming over. You can't stay home alone like that. Quick question last week did you and Four... you know."

"Yes." I mumble quietly.

"Ok that's all see you in a couple of minutes."

After about 20 minutes Christina walks into the bathroom.

"Oh Tris." She sighs. I know what she means. I am leaning over the toilet puking. She comes over and pulls my hair back.

"Thanks." I mumble then lean back onto the bath tube.

"Tris I need you to take this." Chris says throwing me a pregnancy test. I look up at her confused.

"But why-"

"No questions just take it." She says walking out and shuts the door.

I sit on the counter waiting for the test. From what the directions says you have to wait 5 minutes for the results to show up. Finally the long five minutes are up. I take a deep breath and look down.

"Tris you done?" Chris asks

"Uh- uh- y-yeah come in." I say staring at the test in shock.

"So what are the results?" She asks. I slowly look up and stare at her.

"I-I'm pregnant."
