It's been three years or so since I started this story, and I know, despite my on-and-off writing, I want you - my fave people on earth - to know that I couldn't have gone this far without you. 

To be honest, nobody in my family knows that I write — aside from some of my friends, but I never really had most of them read this. 

This is a shout-out to my first couple of readers who've reached out and gave me the encouragement I needed, and to the two persons who have judged and reviewed my work in contests and review shops, I've entered.
