Tsubaki muttered the words. As soon as you noticed it's black color,you felt something biting a tiny part of yourself inside you. You gasped,feeling the small,sharp pain and dropping the scythe. The resonance broke,the large,black blade of the scythe shattering and turning back to it's normal size. The scythe clanged as it landed on the ground. You clutched your chest tightly then fell on your knees,your breathing patterns changing from normal to heavy. Blackstar placed Tsubaki on the ground then let her transform back,then ran to you. "(y/n) ! Are you okay ?! What's wrong ?!" He quickly asked,helping you stand up. Shiori turned back to her human form and went to you,same with Stein and the others. You weren't able to speak,mainly because the pain intensified everytime you tried to. You just choked on air and clutched your chest tighter,before losing the energy and fainting in Blackstar's arms.

"So… You mean that can be just the effect of the resonance ?"

Blackstar's voice asked as you slowly got back to the real world from the dream ones. "Yes. Mainly because she's been partnerless for a year,her soul maybe found it new to resonating with someone else. And maybe she pushed the resonance to the limit,so it gave her some type of pain and brought her into this situation." Stein's voice said. "Then what about the color ? It's supposed to be rainbow-like,right ?" Blackstar asked. Stein just shrugged. "Maybe Shiori's soul color is black. You know,maybe she has this tattered past and made the blade go black ?" He answered. Blackstar just blinked,then gave a nod. You slowly fluttered your eyes open,squinting at the light. Blackstar noticed you,so he went over to you with a sigh. "Finally,you're awake." He smiled. You blinked a few times,recognizing his face first. After seconds,you just smiled,then nodded. "Yeah…" You agreed. Stein patted Blackstar's head,twisting the screw in his head. "She'll be fine by tomorrow,if she gets enough rest." Stein said. "Oh. After you talk,please meet me outside,Blackstar." He added then left the room. Blackstar just nodded and grabbed a chair and sat beside you,scratching his head. "So… Really… What happened back there ?" He asked. You blinked,looking at him.

"Well… After that resonance… I felt something biting a part of me inside,which I guess my soul is." You shrugged. He sighed. "Stein said that it may be just an effect of the resonance,mainly because you didn't resonate with someone else for a long time." He explained. You just nodded. "I see…" You shrugged again. Blackstar smiled,then stood up. "Well,I'll just go meet Stein. See ya later." He placed a kiss on your forehead,making you smile. "Yeah. See ya." You nodded. Blackstar went to the door,then stopped when he held the door knob. "Take a lot of rest,okay ?" He smiled. You just laughed,then nodded again. "Yep." You smiled. Blackstar just grinned then went outside. You just watched,then yawned. "I just slept…" You mumbled,then shifted and closed your eyes.

[Outside]

"Sup ? Anything wrong ?" Blackstar asked as he got outside. Stein sighed,taking his cigarrette and blowing out the smoke. "Not really wrong. There's just something I want to warn you about." He shrugged. Blackstar stretched,placing his hands behind his head. "What is it ?" He asked. Stein adjusted his glasses. "Well… I just want to warn you about (y/n)'s feelings." He said. Blackstar blinked,confused.

"Feelings ?" He asked. Stein nodded. "She's been upset since Haruto died. Making you the only person she has as a family now. Shiori has this small amount of madness inside her,and it can give itself off to (y/n) if they resonate to the limit,like earlier. The more they resonate,more madness going it's way freely to her." He crossed his arms. "It's not that dangerous. (y/n) can control herself with those kind of things,mainly because she won't give up with you around. So I think that if you do something to hurt her,there will be two,negative outcomes." Stein pointed out,taking a puff on the ciggarrette and blowing the smoke out.

"It's either she'll kill herself,or let that madness take over her."
