You stuttered,looking up at the tall,black figure of Lord Death. He just sighed. "It's still small. But it's growing. Every time you get sad,worried,or anywhere depressed,it slowly grows." He said with a serious tone. "So you have to be careful,(y/n). You can't let yourself go mad around here. You know you're also an ice witch,and that's an advantage when you're with us. But if your soul snaps,Death city may turn into a frozen city in just an hour." He sighed. You looked away,balling your hands up. "Curse my mom…" You thought. You just looked back at him,then sighed. "Yeah… Okay…" You mumbled. "Stein is telling Blackstar about this at the moment. And with everything we can,we'll try to stop it's growth. And if possible,erase it from you." He explained.

"I can take care of myself. I won't go mad." You said with a reassuring nod. Lord Death replied a satisfied nod,before clasping his large hands together. "So… Other than this,I heard your partners soul is—" "Yeah. It is missing." You sighed. Lord Death tilted his head. "Well,I placed a mission about it in the missions board,so students can take it and go look for around Death City. I'm sure the culprit is still around here and I know she's planning to use little Haruto-kun's soul." He said with a shrug. You smiled,then nodded. "Good to hear."

"Well,time to go back to classes,(y/n) ! Don't take problems seriously,okay ? Have a good day !" Lord Death said with his comical voice. You just giggled,nodding and bowing before turning around. You then left the Death room after.

[To Blackstar's]

"I told you about (y/n)'s state,right ?" Stein said,twisting the screw in his head. Blackstar leaned against the wall,arms crossed and nodding. "I'm doing anything to make her happy. It's not like I won't,anyway." He replied. Stein sighed. "Really,huh ? What about that time when I saw you with Shiori in that arcade center one time ?" He adjusted his glasses. Blackstar looked startled,blinking. "How did you—" "I was on my way back here because I left my scalpel. And I saw you. Alone. With some other girl without your girlfriend's permission." He smirked.

Blackstar sighed. "I was forced. Besides,I didn't mean to do that." He grumbled. Stein sighed. "You lied to her,right ?" He asked. Blackstar just blinked,before looking away and scratching his head. "W-well… I had no choice… S-she's scary when she's jealous…" He mumbled. Stein crossed his arms.

"And it'll make her upset once she finds that you lied with a simple thing." He adjusted his glasses again. "With that small amount of madness inside her,being upset and depressed will make it grow. Do you want your girlfriend to snap and kill everyone here—" "Hell no. And she won't ever do that. She's too kind to do such a thing." Blackstar interrupted,slightly proud of your kindness. "Yeah. But when she snaps,you'll never like it. She's an advantage in this academy because she's useful for defense,mainly of her inherited magic. If she turns her back to us,we'll be the one in trouble." He seriously stated. "Plus,you'll lose her as your girlfriend because she won't even think of loving you when she goes all out." He sighed,looking at him with a serious stare. Blackstar got startled as he thought of the scene.

"So tell me,do you want (y/n) to turn into a monster ?" Stein asked. Blackstar gritted his teeth,clenching his fists and looking back at him seriously.
