You and Blackstar were on your way to the classroom now. Yep,he woke just in time,much to your liking. While walking,you both passed by Stein and Marie,who were talking to each other. "Good morning !" You cheerfully smiled,slightly bowing. They both stopped,then Marie gave a smile. "Good morning too,(y/n). I heard you found a new partner already." She patted your head,making you shyly bow. Blackstar just chuckled. "Of course. It's (y/n) so it's normal for the crowd to talk about her the way they talk about me !" He bragged. You blinked,then just shrugged with a small laugh.

Stein was quiet for a while,noticing something strange in your soul. Of course,being the best meister in the academy and having the ability to read souls like Maka,he noticed that small (but growing) madness amount inside you. You noticed that stare of his,making you look at him. "Uhm… Is something wrong…?" You asked. Blackstar and Marie looked at him,blinking. Stein just adjusted his glasses,putting a smile and shaking his head. "Nothing. Well… Classes are about to start. You both should go to the classroom now." He said. Marie nodded. "He's right. See you kids later !" She giggled,before going away with Stein and mumbling how cute you and Blackstar were.

"Let's go ?" Blackstar asked,placing an arm around you. "Sure." You laughed. Blackstar just grinned,then walked with you.

[Meanwhile…]

"Don't you dare tell me you never noticed that." Stein said,glancing at Marie. She nodded,looking worried. "(y/n) is one of the best meisters in this academy,along with Maka's team… If that small amount of madness grows and takes over her,it'll be a mess." She sighed. Stein nodded in agreement. "She's also a half witch. Her mother was the ice witch Blackstar took on over a year ago. And since she won't be in her control once that madness takes over,I have a feeling we'll be frozen for some time…" He shrugged. Marie sighed. "Does she know ?" She asked. Stein shook his head. "No. But I warned Blackstar about it already. I hope he listened,but I think I should remind him again." He sighed,twisting the screw in his head. Marie looked at him. "Should we tell Lord Death ?" She asked again. Stein nodded. "Of course. We can't let that madness grow." He looked over her. "Go tell Lord Death about it. I have to teach classes and tell Blackstar about this case." He quickly said,then ran off. Marie just sighed then nodded,before going to the other way.

"Okay,class,read pages 188-195. We'll have a lesson about that and you better know anything written in those pages." Stein said,twisting the screw in his head. Everyone groaned at the page length,except for Maka cause she loved reading. "In the meantime,(y/n),Lord Death wants to see you. Blackstar,we have to talk about something." He looked up at their seats. You and Blackstar blinked,exchanging looks at each other and back at him. "Huh ? Did I do something wrong ?" You asked. Stein sighed,shaking his head. "Nope. He wants to see you because of something." He stated. "Follow me outside." He added,turning to the door and walking. You sighed and just stood up,taking Blackstar's hand and walking with him outside with Stein.

You went to the Death room,opening the large door and going inside. As soon as you stepped in,you saw Lord Death,standing in front of the mirror with his usual,large hands holding a peace sign. "Hello hello ! How's it going ?" He asked in that comical voice he has. You slightly laughed,looking up at him. "Nothing much,Lord Death." You politely replied with a smile. Lord Death tilted his head to the side,and sighed. "Have you been feeling strange lately ?" He asked with a slightly serious tone. You blinked,then nodded. "Well… I feel like there's something in my soul… And I don't know what it is.." You answered,looking at the ground. Lord Death placed his large hand on your head,patting it before taking it back. "Please,don't get startled…

…But that something is madness."
