→ Florence never really like his parents, simply because they were just like everyone else. They were just like he neighbors, just like his best friend's parents. They were all against him. They hadn't liked him. He knew his parents favored his brother. Maybe because he was perfect, Elic had gotten good grades, always had respectful girlfriends, and never got in trouble. Florence had rarely ever been home, he had either been out at parties or in someone else's bed. Florence was a troublemaker in their eyes. They knew something was "wrong" with their son. And then they caught him. He had been with someone, a guy, and thugs were starting to get intense. When his parents walked in they were shocked and disgusted. Which a few days later led Florence to be sent to his "treatment."
