Chapter 18

--= Sky's + POV =--

It was morning now. Ty was snoring loudly, his legs bent on the couch and his body slumped uncomfortably onto the carpet that wreaked of booze.

Cringing away from the mess of my friends and my house, I glanced upwards to hear some shuffling coming from upstairs.

Letting out a sigh, I rubbed my head trying to soothe the throbbing pain as I stuttered into the Kitchen snatching some aspirin and a glass of water with mild difficulty.

"I guess it's what I deserve from that much alcohol." My mind buzzed as I chugged down the water and let out a sigh.

Leaving the aspirin and some glasses out knowing everyone else would need it when they woke up, my instincts carried me to Preston's room. Gulping down some air knowing he probably wouldn't answer, I tapped the door lightly and called out.

"Preston? Are you in there?"Shifting the doorknob, eyebrows raising to see the door wasn't locked I pushed it open to see one of the men I saw at the party dozing in Preston's bed but, no sign of Preston.

"Excuse me?" No answer. Letting out a huff, thoughts started to swirl in my head the longer I stared at the man with the stubble and his blue hoodie covering the whole upper half of his body. I'll just ask him where Preston went when he wakes up.

If he even remembers anything. Trying to focus my hearing to see if anything else was stirring, I heard continued shuffling along with a few curse words and giggles.

Cocking an eyebrow, I poked my head into one of the guest room's to see a small man that was at the party with a tall blonde man and they giggled like children,

shushing one another to quiet the other down but it only continued as they shuffled through clothing trying to find the right pair of clothes to wear.

Some that didn't stick to the smell of alcohol and bad decisions. Clearing my throat, the smaller one looked up wide eyed to see me leaning against the doorframe, an amused smirk on my face his face paled into a deep red while the taller one continued talking, not noticing I was there.

"You know I was thinking that maybe when we get back to base...."

"Lachlan." The smaller one tried.

Lachlan not seeming to hear him he folded clothes his back turned from him and I. The small one suppressing a groan, he shoved the t-shirt he was holding into his face and burrowed himself into it, submitting a muffled scream into it.

Keeping my eyes glued onto the blonde as he stumbled for words, he finally caught some and what he said next made the small one look like he was just about ready to jump out the window and run.

"Maybe we could umm...Go out?"

"Lachlan." The smaller one whispered. His face now a deep, deep red all the blood rushed up to his face as he burrowed his face in his hands, the aussie clearly not stopping anytime soon.

"It doesn't have to be anything serious it could just be a daaaaaaaaaaaa- good morning. Uhh, how'd you....How'd you sleep?" The blonde sputtering, not noticing at all that I was there, his face quickly turned to red.

"I slept well thank you, maybe I should leave you two alone?" I chuckled. Vikk emitting a breath of a laugh he slammed his head back down onto his pile of clothes with his face beet red.

Making my way out of the door, I listened on their now no longer quiet conversation due to the lack of hearing from the man who apparently was named Lachlan.

"Ten outta ten mate."

"Shut it Vikk!" Laughing a small bit, I passed through the rooms to see that Mitch had a bed and he was sleeping in it with one of the other men. Both of them fully clothed, I thanked the lord quickly before pushing past the room.

So everyone was here surprisingly, well, except for Preston. But he would come back soon. He always does, mind you he keeps to himself and make me feel like I'm invisible and never there for me when I need him and make me feel like I let him down,

I know he'll come back.
