-Tyler's P.O.V-
After what seemed like hours talking to (Y/N) on the phone, I check the time on my phone and see it's only been about thirty minutes.
8:31 PM.
I slump back into the sofa and let out a deep sigh.
...
I GOTTA TELL JOSH.
Quickly, I push myself off the love-seat and start to practically sprint towards the garage.
I swing open the door to see Josh still drumming away like he was earlier.

"Josh!" I yell at him.
He's still drumming.
"JOSH!" I yell louder.
Still. Drumming.
I run over to the drummer.
"JOOOSH!" I shake his shoulders.
He finally notices me and turns around.
"Hey." He says almost out of breath.
"Josh, I gotta talk to you." I bend down so I meet Josh's eyes as he was sitting down.
"What's up?" He asks, taking off his snap back, brushing his hair back with his hand then proceeding to put his hat back on.
"I got off the phone with (Y/N)." I admit.
Josh seems a bit taken back as his face kind of scrunches up and his eyes blink a few times.
"What?" Josh spits out in disbelief.
"I doubt I should explain everything right now but just know...you need to talk to her." I urge him.
Josh just shakes his head.
"I'll talk to her when I'm ready." He turns back around.
"Listen to me, Josh!" I turn him back around.
(A/N: lol)
"I'm sorry I don't want to say anything man but it's not my feelings to explain and I know you say you're not ready but you need to get it done." I beg him.
Josh rubs a layer of sweat off of his forehead and catches his breath.
Without saying a word, Josh gets up.
"Where are you going?" I follow him into the kitchen.
"Rochester Hills, Michigan." He says without looking back at me.
"What for?" I ask.
Josh picks up his car keys that were lying on the counter.
"That's where Broken Castle's concert is tonight and more importantly, that's where (Y/N) will be."
-Your P.O.V-
"So, you ready?" Karma asks as she's tuning her guitar about thirty minutes before the concert.
"Yeah." I nod my head. "Why wouldn't I be?"
"I don't know." Karma shrugs. "You've just been kind of off lately."
I look at her.
"I don't mean that in a bad way and I already know why it's just like-"
"I get it." I stop her from saying anything else.
"Don't worry. I'm sure all this confusion will stop soon." I assure my band mate.
She tilts her head at me, confused.
"I..I talked to Tyler." I confess.
"What do you mean?" Karma places her guitar to the side to focus her attention on me.
"I talked to him about Josh. I told him everything because I thought he could help considering he's Josh's best friend."
Karma nods her head to show she's following along.
"So we chatted and I don't know when but I know that I'm gonna tell Josh how I feel. Soon." I explain.
Karma's eyes widen a bit.
"Really?" She smiles. "Oh, thank God! It's about time." She laughs with happiness in her voice.
I chuckle.
"Okay, Karma." I roll my eyes. "Let's continue getting ready for the show."
-Josh's P.O.V-
"You're leaving right now? You do realize it's almost nine PM and a drive to Michigan would take more than three hours." Tyler continues to follow me as I start walking towards the car.
"Tyler, you're the one that wanted me to talk to (Y/N) in the first place." I tell him.
"Yeah, I know. I'm just a bit worried. Are you sure you can handle driving for hours in the dark?" Tyler crosses his arms as his shoulders raise a bit in discomfort.
I close my eyes and take a deep breath.
"I'll be fine, Ty. I'll let you know when I make it." I give Tyler a hug.
"Thanks." Tyler hugs me back. "Good luck."
"Thank you." I pat Tyler on the shoulder before entering the vehicle.
I leave the drive way and wave to Tyler as he waves back at me before making my way to Broken Castle's concert.
-Your P.O.V-
"Okay! This next song uh...it's kind of a metaphor, if that makes sense." I start explaining 'Tornado' to the audience.
"I'm quite fond of metaphors. I realized they explain more than I could with feelings." I chuckle.
"I hope you enjoy this metaphorical song called 'tornado'." I smile as the crowd cheers, being familiar with the song.
I start singing the lyrics as the drums and guitar steadily begin to play behind me.
-Josh's P.O.V-
About three hours and forty four minutes later, I finally find myself at Broken Castle's venue.
I text Tyler, telling him where I was, before heading over to the ticket booth.
"Hey, I'm Josh. I-I know it's late but I really need to get in there. Can I still buy a ticket?" I ask the employee.
She tilts her head at me, kind of scanning my body.
Uh...
"Oh, sorry! You just look familiar..." She clears up what she was doing.
Oh, are you perhaps my long lost sister?
I chuckle to myself.
"Josh! Josh Dun!" She smiles as she recalls who I am.
"Yeah...that's me." I grin.
"Go right ahead! You don't need a ticket." She waves her hand, letting me through.
"Thanks so much." I thank her before swiftly heading through the doors.
I made it just in time to see Broken Castle's last song.
(Y/N) was in the middle of singing 'Nothing' when I walked in and found a place to stand.
She was incredible.
Seeing her sing and move around the stage like nothing else mattered...it was breathtaking.
Her and the twins worked so well together.
Everything they put out flowed so inherently.
A small smile starts to form on my face.
I still loved her.
-Your P.O.V-
As the last song started to end, I look around the stadium before my eyes somehow locked on a person with neon hair.
That can't be..
I try to re-focus back on the song.
I'm imagining things. Why would Josh be here?
I sing the final word of the song as the audience erupts into yells and cheers.
I smile as I look back up at that figure from earlier.
He was so far back yet I could tell..
It was Josh.
My head turns back to the crowd as I hear them all chanting.
"One more song! One more song!"
I look back at the twins.
We didn't really have another song prepared...
But I'm sure we could think of something.
I take a deep breath in and out.
I knew which song needed to be played live at least once.
I'd been avoiding it but I think now is the right time.
I walk over to Karma and whisper in her ear what song to start playing.
She looks at me weird. "You sure?" She mouths.
I nod my head before skipping over to Grayson.
"We gonna give the people what they want?" He smirks.
"Oh yeah." I respond, smirking back.
I tell him what song to play and he nods but still looks a bit unsure.
Making my way back over to where I originally was, I begin to talk.
"You want one more song?" I yell with a smile.
I close my eyes before I begin my whole spiel.
"I-uh, I never really imagined the band playing this song in such a happy, loving environment but...even if the song is mostly negative, I want you to yell these lyrics out as loud as you can. That's something positive right?" I ask them.
They reply back by a loud cheer.
I look back at K and G and nod my head.
Let's do this.
I turn back to the audience as the beginning of 11:59 pm starts to play.
A/N: woah hey! hope u enjoyed.
luv u all!
later
