"No one is allowed within the Nara compound at this time," The guard said sternly as his glare heightened despite looking at his Hokage. 

"I have a sigil of permission from Shikaku, you have to let me in," Tsunade showed her pass, which was indeed a sigil of permission bearing the Nara clan insignia. 

"Your permission was terminated as such that one in your possession is null and void. No one is allowed within the compound at this time," He repeated. Tsunade narrowed her eyes at him and took in the surrounding area. There were far many people at the gate taking a stand of guards. They all looked at her distrustfully and she looked away as a bit of self-consciousness rolled through her. She knew she would be in hot water when she came with the proposal, promising that Naruto would be safe when he was strapped down but she was only prepared to deal with Shikaku and Shikamaru and maybe Yoshino. 

Not the entire clan. 

"Can you please get Shikaku then, I have a message for him." 

"Any messages sent to the main household will have to be heard by security." 

"Are you kidding me?!" Tsunade yelled she tried and failed at crumpling the permission. 

"Afraid not Lady Hokage, the entire clan has been on edge since the incident revolving around our heir's soulmate. I didn't realize we had a traitor amongst the Leaf willing to execute our heir's sole happiness." 

She knew Nara was serious when it came to soulmates. Their soulmates act as a bind to reality so they don't drift away into their minds. Shikamaru being next in line was pressured into finding his soulmate before his father stepped down. He found them and here came Tsunade with information that changed the whole perspective. Everyone in the clan wanted a stay-at-home soulmate that Shikamaru could see whenever he came in. Naruto wanted to stay a civilian so it was a winning situation but she had to push the clan, push Shikaku and push Shikamaru. 

When Nara people said they were done compromising they meant it. They didn't care that Naruto was a Jinichuriki, didn't care that he nearly cost five Anbu their life. They cared about Naruto because he cared about Shikamaru. Naruto was always smiling for them, even cried and grieved their sole orphan, he was painting their culture and tried to understand it so he could better relate to them. He was such a bright spot in the clan and frankly, they wanted to be greedy and keep him. And here was the Lady Hokage's assistant nearly killing him with a lethal poison, Naruto hasn't even woken up from the coma it placed him in. All bets are off the table, they wouldn't be handing Naruto over for anything. 

Shikaku made his way to the front gate as one of the guards reported that Tsunade wouldn't leave without a word from him. When he got their Tsunade tried for a smile but he remained still-faced. She had broken the contract as such she had to honor her end of the deal. "Come inside." 

The guards allowed her through but not without giving her death glares. They made it back to the main house where she sat across from Shikaku and Yoshino. She noted there were no snacks or refreshments this time. Yoshino was extremely angry as well despite her first behavior when it came to Naruto. After five minutes of silence, Shikaku spoke. 

"Give me one reason why I shouldn't pursue your half-assed student," Shikaku demanded as his posture became straight and his eyes hardened. This man was no longer lazing about. It took two things to make Shikaku snap. 

One hurting Inoichi and Chouza and their families. 

Two hurting his family. 

"Shikamaru hasn't slept for days and has been held down and drugged so he can sleep. Naruto only wakes up choking on his blood, it's a miracle Shikamaru's by his side or else he would've drowned in it!" 

Tsunade flinched away as she tried to compose herself. 

"Lady Hokage please try to understand where I'm coming from. My clan demands justice since Naruto is one of our own. And quite frankly he has quite the fanbase, especially among children who can make everyone uncomfortable with a few pointed cries and screams." 

"I'm sorry, on behalf of Shizune I apologize and since I had allowed him to get injured I will uphold my end of the deal made in the contract. I will pull all efforts to convert Naruto into a ninja. But I urge you to reconsider, he's a wonderful asset and could be the pivotal point in the war." 

"I disagree, he's stubborn, he wishes to remain a civilian and if he did change his mind even a little he would be reluctant to learn. He would drag the process out. And frankly, we don't have time Lady Hokage, you need to protect us without the need of a crutch a Jinchuriki would provide. As for your apology, I refuse it, I need to hear it from the source of the distress it has brought my clan. Should she drag her feet I will be taking extreme methods to ensure my clan isn't made a mockery of. We will not go easy to a little woman."

"How could you?! You ruined everything Shizune, he was calming down, he wasn't going to attack. Shikamaru had it under control," Tsunade growled as she ruined her office. Shizune was in the corner trembling at her mistresses' anger. 

"I just saw this monster and the rest was automatic, I'm sorry," She sobbed but flinched under the glare she received in return. 

"Thanks to you we've lost Naruto, the Nara clan distrusts us, and to make it even shittier we've received word that we may have a mole among us. No Jinchuriki to boost us, what are we going to do." 

Tsunade collapsed in the middle of her office crying. 

Of course, she was upset that she had been the reason that Naruto now knew how much destruction he could cause. Upset that Shikamaru had a mental break when his soulmate collapsed coughing up blood on him. Upset that her friendship with Shikaku was now in shreds. Everything she had placed on the blonde, hoping he would have a change of heart but it was nothing but a waste. 

"Hatred is a very strong emotion."

Naruto woke up in the middle of the night and sat up slowly as he allowed Kurama to neutralize the poison. He looked down at Shikamaru who was by his side, he was honestly surprised but then again Shikamaru never showed disgust when they touched during his feral state, even with all the blood on him. He cracked his neck with a look of boredom before slipping out of bed. His eyes bled red and he teleported, his destination honing in on one specific chakra. He followed her home, stood in her hallway, and slowly approached, his footfalls silent. 

When Shizune finally noticed him she jumped in panic. "H-How are you here?" 

He ignored her question, tilting his head in confusion. "You harmed my jailer," Kurama's voice echoed and Shizune dropped her keys in fright. 

"You can take over his body," She concluded as the beast smiled. 

"No," Naruto said as he moved forward quickly and slammed her head on the hardwood floor. A quiet peep was heard as she passed out. Blood pooled around her head as Naruto grabbed the keys and opened her door. He dragged her inside and gently closed the door as his claws elongated. "You sneaky little bitch, I ain't waiting for my soulmate's clan to avenge me. I can do that myself." 

He waited for her to wake up, his chakra keyed into the Nara clan, feeling all their chakra, the slow rhythmic way it made itself through each body. Shikamaru's was especially relaxing which is why when he heard a pained groaned he became annoyed. He lunged out and straddled her. He opened her kimono tearing her under layers and pinched her nipples that popped out, she started crying but a flush was on her face. 

Naruto sunk his claws in her breasts and dragged his nails. She was screaming and Naruto's narrowed eyes made her shut up as she could see that no matter how hard she screamed no one could hear her, so why annoy your killer by being loud? Sure enough, she turned her head to the door and saw a silence seal in her blood. Naruto mangled her breasts and dragged them down her torso and to her pussy. He circled his claws around her thighs and pulled them apart, he watched rather amusedly as her clit began jumping, he couldn't smell arousal in the air though. 

"Oh well revenge is boring," He said as he reached up clawed her throat out. Blood coated him and his clothing and even managed to get in his hair. Shizune laid there, eyes still having fresh tears down her cheeks, head nearly decapitated. Naruto looked around before finding a bathroom to clean up in. 

Shikamaru woke up in bed beside a warm body. Naruto was sleeping an inch away from his face looking quite contented, he vaguely wondered how he managed to get onto the little hospital bed when he felt it. Naruto's strong arms clutching him closer, forcing his face into the other's neck. He let out a sigh of relief before breaking down into quiet sobs so as to not alert the other who was rightfully getting sleep. 

His father was their first visit and by then he had managed to escape Naruto's grasp long enough to shower and eat breakfast. They shared a look as they watched the blonde sleep, his hair was growing out, losing the undercut style he had arrived in, covering his soulmate mark. Shikamaru would shave it for him when he woke up again. 

"They said he woke up in the middle of the night and took a shower before pulling you into bed. He's going to be fine Shikamaru." 

"I really hope so, what's the situation with Tsunade?" 

"Safe to say the Nara and the Hokage's bond is in shreds. I want that Shizune bitch to apologize," Shikaku narrowed his eyes with a glare. Shikamaru wouldn't accept anything less, how could he, they ruined whatever progress Naruto was making. 

A quiet moan could be heard as Naruto's face scrunched up and he began shivering despite being under a heavy blanket. Tears flowed freely from beneath his lids and he whimpered. "I'm not a monster, Shikamaru still loves me," He kept repeating in a murmured, Shikamaru's heart clenched as he reached out to slowly wake the other up. The brief touch made him fly up and grab his throat. His eyes were wide and panicked before he broke out into sobs. 

Shikamaru wrapped him in his arms. Shushing him, kissing his forehead, and stroking his back. "I'm sorry, I hurt people, I don't wanna hurt people." 

"Easy now Naruto we'll talk about that later, for now, calm down." 

Naruto hugged him tighter as a pleased sigh came from his mouth.
