The next day a few people had brought their costumes to school to show them off to their peers. Arthers and mine were still being made. Yesterday. After school, Bakugo had told me a place where I could go and get my hero costume. We both gave them the sketches of how we would like our costumes to look. Lucy's mom is going to be making her hero costume.
Her mom owns a small clothing shop where she makes all of her clothes that are in stock at her store. She hires people to replicate the clothing so that she won't go out of business. Lately, her mother's business has been going down hill and she can't think of any new clothing ideas.
Lucy has been trying to learn how to make clothes. She only knows how to make scarves and accessories, but she's improving and learning how to make t-shirts. I've been helping her with designs and she sells all of the clothes online. Since she got accepted into UA and started training, she hasn't been able to make as many clothes.
"Hey, (y/n)!" I heard Arther yell from across the hallway. Unfortunately, Iida had been walking around the corner when he did that and Arther ended up getting scolded by him.
I giggled after he got scolded. We walked down the hallway to the classroom. The other students were walking around with their costumes in bags and in their arms.
"So,what's up?" I ask.
"Nothing much," he said he held the necklace our grandma gave him in his hand and held onto it. Our grandma had given that necklace to him before she had died. She had gotten in a car crash and broke multiple bones. Eventually, her body was in a state where she couldn't be helped any more. Before she died she made a letter for her family and a will. In the letter to Arther, there was a necklace that had been passed down for generations in a small clear plastic bag.
"Oh, hey there (y/n)!" I heard Sora, or should I say Albatross say across the room as he walked in. His hero costume seemed like something someone in winter would wear on a regular basis. The only difference was that he had slots in the jacket for his wings to fit through.
"Hi, Sora!" I waved at him. He took his seat and started chatting with Shizuka.
"Ok class, today we're going to be doing regular practice for the rest of the day" Uwabami Sensei declared.
I really need to study more if I want to pass my regular classes as well. I've been so caught up with the actual hero training, that I didn't even study for any academic classes. My grades aren't doing too well and school has just begun.
The rest of the day went by quickly and all of the classes seemed to fly by. Except for math class. I've always struggled with math class, the formulas were too complicated for me, and harder to remember than all of the rest of the subjects. My quirk relies on me to know a bunch about atoms and science, but, since math is harder for me, I'm only able to do so much. My quirk can also extend to only 26 elements on the periodic table, to iron.
I'm looking to see if me and Arther can meet up so that he can tutor me a little. He doesn't excel at math, but he has better grades and understands things better than I do.
"Hey Arther," I walk up to him before he goes into the boys dorms.
"Yeah," He says, stopping and looking behind himself.
"Uhmm," I felt awkward trying to get my brother to help me out. I don't usually ask him for help since he was always busy, but he can manage his time more wisely now then he used to .
"C'mon, tell me sis," he says.
"Can you like, uhm, tutor me with some math stuff," I asked him.
"Yeah sure," He answered.
"Really?" I asked, surprised. When we were younger, whenever I would ask him for help, he would, almost always, turn me away and tell me he was busy.
"Yeah, you're my sister, and, we're first years, this year is the base of the rest." He explained.
"Thanks," I said softly. No response. He walked away and went into the boys side of the dorm.
I was thankful that I was getting help, but also because Arther is helping me out, and being helpful to me. It's a new chapter in my life and I'm sure it'll help me in the long-run.
