Again

She called me and asked me to meet her. 
Of course I agreed, I wanted nothing more than to finally see her again. 
I checked myself twice in the mirror, to make sure I look okay, good enough, for her.

When she stood opposite me, she looked straight into my eyes.   
Yet she kept her distance, which had never been the case before. 

,,I'm sorry." 
She said, smiling at me slightly. 
,,I mean, that I caused you so much worry. 
I realize the trouble I cause all the time. 
But I'll try to get better, I promise you." 
Her words hit me right in my heart.

,,You're not causing problems, I just don't understand why you haven't gotten in touch."  Again she smiled weakly. 

,,My father had taken my phone, I'm sorry." 
I bit my lip. 

,,Are you lying to me again?"
