Closed

When I rang her doorbell, she opened it in tears. 
Her cheeks and eyes were red. 
,,What happened, are you all right?" 
I asked in shock and was about to give her a hug, but she pushed me away. 

,,Please don't come near me, not now." 
She said and looked down in shame.

,,Let me help you, please!" 
I looked down at her body, her legs and arms were bruised. 
,,Was that your father?" 
I whispered in shock. 

Seeing her like this hurted me, I wanted to help her, take care of her and tell her that everything would be okay. 
It felt like I was watching her slowly break apart
and
I could't do anything about it.
Every single piece was breaking down,
falling on the floor.

,,Please go home, I'll just get in more trouble."  She begged and was about to close the door, but I wouldn't let her. 
,,I can't just leave you alone like this." 
I shouted. 

,,Go away, please!" 
With a loud noise she slammed her door.
Tears began to ran down my cheek.

,,I just want to help you!"
