Thank you for everyone who followed this story until the end. This is just an experimental story, so some parts may be rough. Again, feel free to point out any mistakes and/or give critique. Your words can help me grow as an author. Oh, and your views and votes are truly appreciated. Just seeing you guys enjoy reading my story completes my day 😊 For that, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

So for the grand finale of this concerto, I'm going to talk about how the story came to be, and why it's an experimental story.

There are a lot of stuff in MSW (My Selfless Wish) that I missed which I felt is crucial to writing a good story and being a good writer overall. Things such as white room syndrome (I still did it here though), using such grand words just to sound smart, world building etc. I tried to explore them here, in Dissonance, as a simple exercise where I step out of my comfort zone. Now of course, it's not perfect, but that's the purpose of it. It's kind of like finding my voice. To find the flaws in my writing and correct them. Yay, the beauty of learning!

Also, I am perfectly aware that the word count got longer every chapter but that's just because I got the hang of writing in that kind of style. Mayhaps. I dunno. I felt the story lost my usual touch of useless and totally random comedy though because of the serious atmosphere. I dunno if that's a good or a bad thing. Hmm, you decide.

This story is actually inspired by YunXinLin's translation of the original chinese fanfic entitled Who Shall Put Forth On Thee? which was written by Bushi. If you like poetic descriptions, you can check the story out. Just keep in mind that I'm in no way related to the author, I'm just a fan that's hidden in the dark.. (I don't comment that much)

Well adding to that actually. I thought I was done with this story but it turns out that I still have some bits I want to write about the two, so I would be publishing some one-shots about them after this.
