Long Live
(Taylor Swift)
"Don't you see the starlight?"
"Don't you dream impossible things?"
You were standing alone on the stage, under the spotlight above, holding a microphone, staring at the crowd like an endless galaxy.
"It was like our mottos, for when we were just two kids trying to chase our dreams." You said, telling your stories in your own latest concert. "Every time we doubt ourselves if we can ever become a singer we'll say it out."
You stretched your leg out and chuckled of old memories.
"And we kept that in our minds that, if tonight we can still see the starlights, all things are possible, and that was what kept us going."
"And like all of you know." You scoffed. "Pete and I, our dreams came true but not when we were together. And so, in the end, we realized we need someone along the way because the road is tough."
You stopped for a while, getting lost in the past.
"And now that we settled down with each other, and life's never been better, I just feel so happy to have you guys." The crowd responded in a shout and you smiled back at them.
"To have your support, to have someone who appreciates our music, for believing in us and we now have a great kingdom of our own. And so... I wrote a song for us."

Peter Parker walked in the stage with an electric guitar, he looked at the audience and then you, both of you shared a smile, the happiest one there is out there.
Two spotlights shined on you, the only two people on the big stage.
You put the microphone to your lips. "I said remember this moment. In the back of my mind. The time we stood with our shaking hands. The crowds in stands went wild."
Each of you took one step closer.
"We were the kings and the queens, and they read off our names. The night you danced like you knew our lives would never be the same."
He grinned at you, it said he remembered all of it.
"You held your head like a hero on a history book page." You put one of your hands on his cheeks. "It was the end of a decade but the start of an age."
Then you turned away from each other right to the crowd.
"Long live the walls we crashed through. All the kingdom lights shined just for me and you!"
"I was screaming, 'long live all the magic we made' And bring on all the pretenders." You put your hands to your chest. "One day we will be remembered."
Now you walked deeper into the crowd to the part of the stage that reached out. "I said remember this feeling. I passed the pictures around."
You looked back at Peter at the center of the stage and smiled sincerely. "Of all the years that we stood there on the sidelines. Wishing for right now."
"We are the kings and the queens. You traded your baseball cap for a crown." You touched your fan's hands along the way. "When they gave us our trophies, and we held them up for our town."
Bad memories came right back about all the drama you've been through. "And the cynics were outraged. Screaming, 'this is absurd, 'Cause for a moment a band of thieves in ripped up jeans got to rule the world."
But you brushed it all off. "Long live the walls we crashed through, all the kingdom lights shined just for me and you I was screaming, 'long live all the magic we made' And bring on all the pretenders. I'm not afraid."
"Long live all the mountains we moved. I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you. I was screaming, 'long live the look on your face' And bring on all the pretenders."
"One day we will be remembered."
You ran back up the stage with applause and cheering catching up behind you, Peter did his part with the guitar and put it down then took you right in his arms.
"Hold on to spinning around." You sang with your forehead touching his. "Confetti falls to the ground."
"May these memories break our fall."
On the stage, everything slowed down like someone stopped time, his arms wrapped around your body, his hands holding on you tight.
"Can you take a moment?" You closed your eyes. "Promise me this."
"That you'll stand by me forever. but if God forbid fate should step in." You reached one hand out to the crowd, to your supporters. "And force us into a goodbye. If you have children someday, when they point to the pictures. Please tell them my name." You begged.
"Tell them how the crowds went wild. Tell them how I hope they shine."
The beat dropped. "Long live the walls we crashed through. I had the time of my life... with you."
The concert's fireworks hit the sky.
"Long, long live the walls we crashed through. All the kingdom lights shined just for me and you! And I was screaming, 'long live all the magic we made', and bring on all the pretenders."
"I'm not afraid." You sang fearlessly.
"Singing long live all the mountains we moved. I had the time of my life fighting dragons with you. And long, long live the look on your face and bring on all the pretenders. One day..."
You and Peter raised your hands up together against the whole crowd.
"We will be remembered."
In this multiverse, you and Peter rule the kingdom for the rest of time, and write hundred love songs for each other, then a thousand Diss Track for the one who try to get in your ways. And you sang together happily ever after.
For all the time faith put you apart, making it all seemed hopeless to be together, or to even have any encouragement to fight for each other. Just fight through it.
For all the songs that have been sung, to express one's feeling when they can't say it out. Shout them.
For all the dreamers who dare at all to become something everybody says they couldn't be, to wish for something everybody says you can't have.
Tonight, put your earphones on and look up to the sky.
Don't you see the starlight?
Don't you dream impossible things?
