32 | Speak Now

I never insult artists and songs you like on your books, don't do to mine.

Speak Now
(Taylor Swift)

Wanda is a precious angel, she sings her song with her heart and she fights all her bad days with a smile. Her life is shit too but she never shows much of that side, she cares more about other that when the announcement of Peter Parker and Michelle Jones's marry become a thing she screamed.

"AHHH. WHAT THE FUCK." She jumped off the couch.

"The marriage, right?" Her assistant asked.

   "What the actual fuck?!"

"I've heard Jones got pregnant, and so the parents decided they needed to get married properly to save their reputations."

"What about (Y/n)!? What about my (Y/n)!?"

"Probably dying and writing three hundred sad songs right now."

"That's not funny." Wanda burst out of her dressing room, today she is singing for the Swarovski's runway and Michelle Jones (and her baby) is the model, so she decided to confront and just asked Michelle face-to-face.

She walked around the hallway, asking people where MJ was, but she was nowhere to be found.

Wanda almost gave up when she heard someone from the bathroom.

"....Yes. I know dad. But this is the only way, do you want to save the company or not?..."

   Michell's voice!

Wanda put on a mission impossible mode and snuck inside the bathroom in her spy form. In the back of her mind, the movie's theme music was played.

"...We tie the knot first, even if he finds out later there's not a child, he can't do anything about it...."

Oh my god. I knew it. She thought. The baby is fake!

That was enough, she snuck out the bathroom and ran away with full speed. She had learned very important lies and she will definitely put justice to it.

You

Tissues piled up in front of me like a mountain, my guitar laid on the ground hopelessly and myself on the couch drowning in my own tears and pizza.

"(Y/n)..." Natasha tried to comfort me but I didn't let anyone talk to me.

It's their wedding day aka my death day. I have been like this for a while now. I have no idea why they suddenly wanted to get married. Was it to call me out he also moved on?

Well, I'm sorry I stole his car but there was not enough time to call for an Uber.

"I'll be okay Nat..." I cried.

"I have some more news... If you want to know." She sat next to me.

"Can it be any worse?" I chuckled with tears.

"They're saying they're getting married because Michelle got pregnant."

"..."

"..."

"Okay, that's worse." I cried harder.

The door burst open and Natasha and I flinched, we almost fell off the couch.

Arrived, Wanda Maximoff. Her hair messy all over, it seemed like she ran all the way home here. She looked very serious, and her voice was as intense.

"(Y/N)!!" She yelled at me.

"WANDA!!" I yelled back because... I don't know. I was scared.

"What are you doing here! You need to stop the wedding now!" She grabbed my hands.

"What--? I can't just walk right in and get him back..." I held myself back.

"Of course you can! Michelle's taking advantage over Peter, (Y/n)! You can stop this all. You have to save him."

"What are you saying...?"

She stopped herself from acting a little too active and calmed herself down, focusing on her breathing. "Listen, (Y/n)." She put her hand on my cheeks, wiping her thumbs along my tears.

"I'm listening...."

"The baby, is fake."

"The baby.... is fake?"

"They had sex, right? The day before the carpool." She talked very slowly to keep me so I can understand. "And I overheard many days ago, Michelle uses that on Peter faked the pregnancy to tie the knot."

"..." I stared at her.

"..." She stared at me.

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"I texted and called but--" Wanda stopped as Natasha filled in for her.

"(Y/n) saw the new about the marriage and threw her phone off the window."

"Yeah... I forgot about that." I muttered.

"Anyway, once I know it's the day now and you haven't acted up yet, I drove all the way here to tell you myself. We need to stop this!"

I stuttered. "Ha--how can we do that?"

"I'll drive you there!"

"Nat?" I looked at Nat, like a child looking at her mother for approval.

"Do it." She said firmly.

And so there was nothing holding me back. I ran with Wanda to her car, we got on and she drove off like she was in fast and furious, she literally did a massive drift, I thought we were both going to die but I underestimated her driving skill. She got us there so fast.

We parked the car by the bush, and sneaked a glance over at the wedding.

There were so many people there, everything was heavily decorated, everyone looked so happy, but I don't know about the bride and groom.

"What do we do?" I asked Wanda nervously, she looked around like a Detective, hesitating.

"You have to sneak in there alone. They'll spot us out if we go in together."

"And what do I do?"

"Kidnap him out! Do whatever it takes, I don't care, but do not let him say the vow in front of those cameras!" She put her hands on my cheeks. "You can do it. Trust me."

"What if even without the fake baby he wants to marry her anyway?"

"That's bullshit and you know it."

"Yeah."

"Yeah. Now go." She smacked a kiss on my forehead so hard, it was a little painful. I got off the car and stay low, sneaking into the church.

And oh no... I'm totally gonna write a song about this.

Hit the song at this part

I am not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion, but you are not the kind of boy who should be marrying the wrong girl.

Clap. Clap.

I sneak in and see your friends and her snotty little family all dressed in pastel, and she is yelling at a bridesmaid, somewhere back inside a room wearing a gown shaped like a pastry.

This is surely not what you thought it would be.

I lose myself in a daydream.

Where I stand and say,

"Don't say yes, run away now. I'll meet you when you're out of the church at the back door. Don't wait, or say a single vow. You need to hear me out."

And they said speak now.

But it is not happening, I don't have that chance to tell him that yet, but he can't marry her and so I sneak in deeper, inside the party with busy people trying to organize it all.

Fond gestures are exchanged and the organ starts to play a song that sounds like a death march.

And I am hiding in the curtains. It seems that I was uninvited by your lovely bride to be.

The marriage started.

She floats down the aisle like a pageant queen.

But I know you wish it was me.

You wish it was me, don't you?

And I whispered,

Don't say yes, run away now. I'll meet you when you're out of the church at the back door. Don't wait, or say a single vow
You need to hear me out and they said speak now.

Don't say yes, run away now. I'll meet you when you're out of the church at the back door. Don't wait, or say a single vow. Your time is running out and they said speak now.

The people settled down to their seats, filling up the church, too busy and excited about the whole thing that none of them noticed me smoothly joining the ceremony, watching them about to get married, waiting for Peter's turn to say I Do.

I hear the preacher say. "Speak now or forever hold your peace"

There's a silence, there's my last chance. I stand up with shaking hands. All eyes on me.

Horrified looks from everyone in the room but I'm only looking at you.

"She faked her pregnancy." I said and lit the crowd to chaos.

So I continued, "I am not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion but you are not the kind of boy, who should be marrying the wrong girl."

Peter Parker in tuxedos looked back at Michelle. "Is it true?" He asked her.

And she stuttered. "Peter... I..."

"Michelle did you lie about that just to hold this marriage?!" Peter asked her louder and she just stood silently, looking down.

Her parents in the seat said. "Speak now!"

But he turned to me and said. "Let's run away now. I'll meet you when I'm out of my tux at the back door." And he smiled. "Baby, I didn't say my vow. So glad you were around when they said, "speak now".
