Chapter 3
Once the sun had risen, Y/n got to work. She had somewhat furnished her workshop before getting to work on the farm. Having no good way to grow wheat, Y/n decided to farm chickens with seeds. She fenced an area before covering it with an oak roof.
She then destroyed some grass for seeds before leading them into their new home. Was Y/n worried that the implications of inbred farm animals were now real? Not really. The book said player bred animals dont suffer from incest consequences unlike non player bred animals.
Though it did bring the fear that if she visited the village, she might never be able to leave, only brought out in chains to work. She simply decided to wait until she had armor and a better weapon before she visited.
She had her new copper dagger in her hotbar, always ready incase a threat popped up. She then decided to travel a bit around the base to get used to her surroundings. She found a lake, which she then took some sand from. A short travel into the jungle allowed her to get jungle logs and coco beans.
She also got quite a bit of watermelon, a full stack. She decided to treat herself to one, seeing how much hunger and thirst it replenished in their respective meters above her hotbar. It only filled one bar of each, but it was tasty!
Y/n decided she had enough before leaving the edge of the jungle. She really had no intrest for visiting the badlands biome in the near distance, so she just went back to the plains. She cut down the now grown oak trees, replacing them with saplings again.
The day was rounded off by her going back up the mountain and mining more copper, up to another stack. She went back down, collecting the chicken's eggs before going back into her workshop.
She spent the night sorting items, smelting what needed to be, then crafted a full set of copper armor along with an almost full set of copper tools. Y/n found it it to be more efficient to use copper tools instead of stone.
The copper armor, while as blocky as the mods made it look like, did morph over her body to fit her perfectly. She did have her problems with the armor, mainly the exposed lower half of her faced and her exposed arms. But with the proof that this wasn't a vanilla minecraft world, she was sure that she would find armor that covered more.
While she felt the armor on her, she didn't feel it weighing her down. Back to her work, she had modified the walls to have a layer of walkable overhang on the inside. She also made another tower, though it was more decorative than usable. She also removed and moved the torches.
She upgraded the bigger tower, and did more things as she mined deeper into the mountain. Her base now held three rooms, the new room being a kitchen. She also turned the blank slate room into a commen room, fitted with the new furniture she made.
It wouldn't be complete for awhile, but that was why she was making a mine. Y/n knew from experience that mining too much into a mountain was dangerous in the newer versions of the game. She had a past base flood when she used tnt while drunk. Fortunately, she was sober now.
She constructed a simple shack before mining a ways down into the blocky earth. In her eyes, it was safer than exploring a cave. She tried to avoid fighting for now. Sure she had armor and a dagger, but she had little fighting skills. Her only victory in a real fight was when she beat the shit outta her bully in highschool.
She began mining, easily finding more coal and copper. Y/n briefly considered copperizing her base, only to shoot it down. She mined until her inventory was full of cobblestone, coal, and copper. She returned to the surface, seeing the sun setting.
She returned to the inside of the base, getting ready for her trip to the village. She had made a second copper dagger, and a copper sword. She also got a stack of copper ingots ready to trade. Tomorrow, she would visit the village.
(720 Words. Sorry, this chapter was really just filler. Minecraft in the early game is really just resource collection amd base building. It's still like that in the late game, but a lot less tedious. At least in my experience it is.)
