Celine the Magnificent Seer
Celine stood with her arms crossed in front of a man that looked similar to Dark. Well. . . . more similar than any other Iplier did anyways. With a bit longer hair put up in a small pony-tail.
Damien practically rolled his eyes at his sister, "Celine, calm down. They're here now. There's nothing the demon can do to us in here. You made sure of that"
"I know but I'd LIKE to know why the HELL they came here in the first place!"
Wilford scuffed at her, "Like you don't know, pumpkin! I told ya I was comin'!"
"I figured you'd be stupid enough to come but dragging THEM into it, too!? Have you no consideration for others, Wil!?" she yelled at him.
Wilford sighed, "Yes, Celine." he licked his lips softly, "That's why I'm here. For your ex. My friend"
"Actor means nothing to me now" she growled whilst grinding her teeth.
Dark and Damien rolled their eyes.
"Yeah right" Damien huffed, "We all know you still got feelings for the ass."
"But since the demon's been controlling him, shouldn't you cut him some slack?" Chase asked, "Not his fault, really. It's Mark's. Plus he really has proven himself-"
"Mind your own business, skater-boy!" Celine hissed at him, "You don't know half of what he's done!"
"Skater-boy?"
Anti giggled, "I like it"
"Fuck off"
"Anyways" Dark interrupted them, "We need your help finding Actor, Celine. We're here to-"
"Oh I know why you're here." she stopped him, "It's stupid. You can't beat the demon"
"We have to try" he tried reasoning with her, "Or else we're dead anyway"
Silence filled the room and Celine looked away for a few moments. Damien caught what she was looking at and gently put a hand on her shoulder, "Celine. . . . I know above everyone . . . what you're feeling right now. Please"
She blinked, looking away from the wedding photo on the fireplace of her and her ex-husband, turning to glance back over to the four. She wiped her face as a tears threatened to fall.
"I know it's not his fault entirely. . . . . I was. . . angry at him for given in, I guess . . . ."
Chase and Anti glanced at each other, knowing how difficult it was for them to fight against the demon.
Anti bit his lip, "It's harder than you think to resist it. It gets in your head like a plague and infects your thoughts, making you think they're your own. It's really no wonder your husband lasted as long as he did. He was stronger than ANY of us. And to sacrifice himself again to it for us . . . "
Celine gripped the axe harder in her fists and clenched her eyes shut tight, "I should never have cheated on him. No offense, Wil"
Wilford shrugged, "Eh, like I say all the time, 'None Taken'" he chuckled.
Celine chuckled back and sniffled a little, holding back her emotions as much as she could.
"Celine" Dark whispered to her, "Is there anything you can do to help us?"
It took a few more minutes but finally, she relented with a heavy and tired sigh.
"You always ask a lot of me, Dark. More than Damien sometimes ever did. Huhhh. . . . . ." she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, leaning the axe on her leg, "Your magician did the exorcism wrong."
They all just stared at her.
"What?"
"WHAT!?" Marvin meanwhile had tracked them down again and had overheard what Celine had said. He was furious, really.
"Uh! How DARE she say something like that! I didn't do it wrong! I did everything right!" he scoffed and snarled, crossing his arms in a pout.
Sean tilted his head, "What are you talking about?"
"The exorcism!" Marvin shouted again, "That. . . . that SEER thinks I did it wrong!"
"Did you?" Jackie asked.
"No!" he defended himself, "I got the sage, the salt, the spell, the-"
He stopped himself.
Jameson raised a brow and rolled his eyes, signing, 'You forgot a part of the spell again, didn't you? You always forget SOMETHING in a spell, Marvin!'
Marvin raised his arms defensively but still looked guilty, "I. . . . .hmmmm" he was still thinking about it, "What DID I do wrong, though?"
"You could NEVER do anything wrong, Senpai!" Yan came to his rescue, practically swooning. Jackie rolled his eyes at his friend's desperate attempt.
But Marvin just hummed, "Yes, yes, I know. But perhaps there WAS a miscalculation somewhere . . ."
Everyone was starting to get a little mad.
Celine smirked, "He forgot that you have to call the demon by its name and demand it back to hell or wherever it came from"
"Fuck!" Marvin slapped his own forehead and groaned in defeat, "She's right. . .."
"Vhat?!" Henrik didn't understand any of this spiritual crap, "Right about vhat?!"
The others were as equally as eager to find out.
Chase crossed his arms and sighed, "Shit, man . . . . well how are we going to find out something like that? Not like he'll just give it to us or introduce himself formally!"
"That's why it's so impossible" Celine stated, "But you're lucky I'm so talented" she smirked.
She held out her hand, "Give me the cane, Dark"
Darkiplier was concerned for a moment but hesitantly gave it to her, trusting her with it, "What do you need it for?"
"You'll see. You're listening, aren't you magician?" everyone blinked curiously at that, "You heard everything and you know it's true. But we can't do this alone here. Not just us."
"What is she going on about?" Marvin asked himself, "She knows I'm watching? Of course she does" he sighed.
Everyone wanted to yell at him for not telling them anything.
Celine held the cane up at arm's length and closed her eyes, taking a slow breathe.
And then suddenly the cane was gone!
Dark nearly freaked out, "What the hell!? Where is it!?"
"Yeah, Celine, what happened to my cane!?" Damien demanded as well.
"Easy there, boys" she chuckled, "It's at the manor. We're going to use it as a tether and I want the magician to get it. It'll be easier to talk to him that way. Well? What are you waiting for, magician? I believe you'll find it nearby"
Marvin wanted to throw something but uttered to the nearest person who just so happened to be Yan, of course, "The cane is back at the manor here somewhere close. Be a dear and find it for me?"
Yan beamed and ran.
Jackie sighed, "Dude, really?"
"What? They're a stalker, right? They're good at finding things"
'He is right' Jameson agreed.
Sean pinched the bridge of his nose, "You guys are assholes sometimes."
"Ve take after you" Henrik shot back at him.
"I FOUND IT!"
Marvin smirked, "See? Told ya they're good"
Mark crossed his arms, smirking at him knowingly, "I see Yan's sunk their claws under your skin. . ..senpai" he said teasingly.
The magician just glared at him though as Yan rushed back in with the cane in their hand. They could feel something was off in the room, though, "What?"
"Nothing, nothing" Marvin smiled sweetly and took it from them, "Thank you so much" he winked at them, making them blush red.
Eric was afraid they'd faint after hearing that. Yan nearly did.
Marvin gripped the cane and closed his eyes again, focusing, 'Alright I got the cane. Can you hear me, seer?'
Celine nodded, "I can. Good. Now listen up. I have a plan but I'll need your cooperation to enact it."
Marvin grumbled to himself but sighed, "You got it. What's the plan?"
Sean sighed harshly and whipped his hands up in the air as if giving up asking.
"Get used to it" Mark smirked, "I get the cold shoulder with that sort of stuff all the time with Host, too"
"ARE YOU INSANE!? I CAN'T DO THAT! EXORCISE HIM YOURSELF IF YOU'RE SO GOOD, SEER!"
Everyone froze and Marvin's face went red in his anger. On the other side, Celine was huffing at him, "Just do it, pagan-boy! You don't have any other choice!"
"What part of 'I can't' DON'T you understand!? I literally-"
Meanwhile, Dark, Anti, Chase and Wilford were nearly in the same boat as Marvin. What in the world was Celine thinking!?
"Dude, Marvin can't come here!" Chase argued, "He has no was of doing so, really and what's it matter if-"
And suddenly Marvin was there . . . . .. holding Dark and Damien's cane. Looking flustered and frozen in shock, " . . . . . can't"
Celine smirked, "Thanks for coming. I knew you'd at least hold the cane for that long until it needed to come back. Now back to the plan"
Marvin grit his teeth but fixed his hair, smoothing it down, "You're a crazy bitch"
"Takes one to know one"
Suddenly the air was silent and they waited for a cat-fight to ensue.
.
.
.
.
Wilford suddenly gasped, "DAMIEN! There ya are, boy-o! I haven't seen ya in ages! How are ya!?"
They took the chance to facepalm themselves.
"Anyways" Marvin rolled his eyes, giving up on arguing, "Why does it matter having me here exactly? You're hoping two people casting an exorcism will be better than one?"
"More people, more power. It's an easy solution, I'd say" Celine kept her stance strong, letting the magician know who was in charge.
Marvin sighed, nearly yawning, "Fine. Let's do it"
"I'd knew you see it my way."
"But how will we find him?" Anti asked, "We've been in the void for a bit now. Wouldn't he have made a move by now?"
"I agree. It's a little weird he'd let us all hang around each other like this" Chase was worried about that. It just meant the demon was more confident.
Damien pointed to the window, "Who's to say he's not making a move now? The frost is back"
Celine nodded, "It's watching us. Damien, feed the fire. We're gonna need it." she threw Dark's cane back to him to catch, "Dark and Anti, I'll need you to stay in here with Damien. The demon can't get in here with my barricade up. Marvin, Chase, Wilford and I will confront it outside. Wilford and Chase will provide distraction and the magician and I will get ready to perform the exorcism and destroy the demon"
She went over to a small counter and collected the necessary items. Sage and salt.
"Would be nice if we had some holy water I guess but you can't have everything!"
"Wait, wait, wait!" Dark stopped her, "Why do me and Anti have to hide out in here with Damien? You don't think we're strong enough?"
"That and Anti is too easily controlled by the demon. He's got a lot of baggage on his mind that's easy to manipulate. I'll need you boys in here to try and make sure the demon doesn't do it again. Keep Anti away."
"But what about Chase and Wilford?" Anti asked, "The demon's taken over Chase, too and who knows what would happen if it locked onto Wil! I'm not the only liability here! Come on!"
"Even if it does get a hold of Mr. Brody, his gun is useless here. It'd be easy to take him out. Plus Wilford is too insane and unstable for the demon. Sorry, Anti, but that's just how it is"
Her logic was pretty sound, really.
Marvin hummed, "Got to hand it to her. It IS a good plan now that THAT part is explained."
"I'll take the compliment" she smirked.
Damien chuckled and rolled his eyes, "You always do"
"Shut up, Damien!"
"Alright, alright" Chase bit his lip, "So we got a plan. We ready? Let's get this over with. I'm long overdo to seeing my kids back home as it is. No matter what Stacey says"
"Maybe I can help with that later" Anti promised him, "Good luck"
"You too." Chase pat his shoulder, "Think good thoughts, yeah? Remember . . . . we're here for you, Anti. We love you. Alright?"
"Even if you are a brat sometimes" Marvin added, "Sean was wrong to disown you. We should have tried helping you more. And you heard Sean a few days ago, remember? You know he regrets it, too"
Anti nodded but really . . . . wasn't into what he was saying. Things still didn't feel right but he didn't want the Septics to worry about him. Especially right now, "It's okay . . . . now go kick some demon ass"
"You got it, bro"
They were walking over to the door and opened it to feel a harsh cold breeze.
Dark gulped, "Wil!"
The pink mustached man raised a brow at him.
Dark conveyed a lot of emotion in his eyes for his friend but just nodded to him, "Good luck. Be careful, Wil"
"You got it, scout! Now you kids all place nice in here! Have fun!"
With that, they all walked out of the small cabin, shutting the door behind them.
"Why did Marvin just disappear!?" Sean shouted.
"Host suggests that it could be Celine's doing. The Host believes that the seer may have a plan that requires the magician."
"Woulda been nice if he gotta fill us in" Yancy huffed, "Now we know nothin'!"
Illinois sighed, "He's right. What are we supposed to do now? Wait?"
They were all about ready to do just that until Jackie thought of something.
"Yan! You still have that little camera attached to Marvin's cloak, right!?"
The Iplier blushed, "Y-yes"
"Think you can access them live?"
"Of course!" They realized what Jackie was talking about but their face fell, "Although. . . I don't know if we'd get reception to the void."
"Jims!" Mark shouted, "Set up your cameras. Bim, help them out. Google and Bing, do anything you can to help get a signal if need be. Please?"
Even though Mark was in the dog-house still with the egos somewhat, they wanted to know just as bad, so they followed his orders.
Yan grumbled but went to get their laptop and accessed the camera attached to their Senpai.
"Hm. . . it's not really working. All static" their shoulders fell.
Bim helped the Jims connect the laptop feed to the TV in the living room so everyone could see it but Yan had been right. It WAS static. White noise.
"Wh-what if we used something to c-connect the signal better?" Eric asked.
"Like what?" King asked.
Yan sat up straight, a light bulb suddenly sparking an idea in their head, "Host! Can you go get Marvin's bag from your room!? I think maybe there could be something in there that could help!"
"Even the Host looked at Yandere strangely but respected their knowledge that could most likely be correct. The Host walked up the stairs to his room as asked."
"Yan, what's in Marvin's bag that could help us see him?" Mark asked them, really just wanting to know how they could possibly know without digging through it themselves.
But Yan just stared at Mark all too seriously, "I study senpai."
"Oooookay" Sean was a bit creeped out. He'd have to warn Marvin later.
"The Host returned with Marvin's bag and gave it to Yandere rather apprehensively."
"Just hand it over!" they snatched it from Host and dug through it. It seemed Mark's hopes were dashed.
"Aha!" they brought out a strange device that looked like an HDMI cable. But of course it wasn't, "I've seen senpai use this to watch weird cancelled dramas on his TV. I figured it'd have to have some sort of magic connection with him or something. Worth a try!"
Everyone watched as Google plugged in the magic HDMI to Yan's laptop and the TV.
Suddenly there on the screen was some sort of snowy forest. Someone was walking with other people and they could see Celine, Wilford and Chase on either side!
"It worked!" Jackie jumped in celebration, "Yan, you're a genius!"
"Hey, it pays to be a creep sometimes"
"Wouldn't want to brag about that, sweetheart" Illinois chuckled.
Ignoring the comment, they all set their eyes back on the screen. Now that they could see what was happening, they started to put together what Celine's plan was.
Marvin, Chase, Wilford and Celine walked up to the edge of the forest. At the ready for Actor and the demon to appear from the frost.
"Now remember" Celine gripped her axe tight, "If you feel weird all of sudden or have the urge to attack any of us, let us know. It'll be the demon trying to get into one of you."
Chase nodded, knowing she was mostly talking to him.
"And Wil" she gained his attention quickly, "Don't do anything brash. For once. I know the void is already taking a toll on you as well as the rest of you but stay strong. You can't rush this but . . . if we're clever enough, we could end this efficiently. I know we need to be quick with you all here especially losing your strength the longer you're here. But try and keep it together and don't do anything that expends too much energy. Alright?"
"Complicated" Marvin snorted, "But I think we get the gist. Right, Wil?"
Wilford was poking at something inside his ear but grinned, "Oh yeah! Yes, sure! I get it!"
That answer wasn't too reassuring.
Suddenly there was a rustling in the brush and everyone stood at the ready. Chase and Wil took out their guns, Celine held out her axe and Marvin got into a stance, ready to work some spells.
The eyes came out first. Red. Along with a white, gleaming smile. All nicely tied up in a pretty red suit.
"Well hello there again." Actor chuckled, "I was JUST about to come ring your doorbell. I hear you lot have a special surprise planned out just for me."
He laughed but they knew by now it was the demon's voice.
'Actor' grinned darkly, "How very sweet of you"
I've just realized after watching 'Legend of Korra' on Netflix that Wilford reminds me of Varrick and Celine reminds me of Korra or Lin. Not important but their personalities are SO similar to me and I can't pin why, really! Although I think Wilford and Varrick are pretty obvious in that they're both kinda crazy. Anyone agree?
