Claire

It was Friday and a few days until the thanksgiving holidays and Melody was still angry with me, today I tried to talk to her but she just ignored me. It was Friday night and I was swimming laps in the swim teams pool. The lights in the pool were on but moonlight shown in through he glass dome covering the swimming and diving pools. I reached the end of the pool where the locker rooms and entrance to the pool were when someone grabbed my head and pulled off my swimming cap. I popped up as my long red hair spilled out into the water floating around me.

“Xavier?” I said looking up at Xavier holding my blue swim cap in his hands. He was wearing a black tee shirt, black ripped jeans with chains hanging on his belt loop, black combat boots, and a black leather jacket. His blue and black spiky hair was swooped up to one side.

“Claire, did you forget something?” He said holding up a blanket and picnic basket.

“Shoot, I’m so sorry,” I said climbing out of the pool and grabbing my towel. “I’ll go get changed and we can go.”

“Alright, but you look great as always.” He said winking at me. I rolled my eyes and hit him playfully with my towel as I walked towards the girl’s locker room. I arrived at my locker and plugged in my combination. I pulled out my change of clothes and walked into an empty dressing room. I pulled on a dark blue sweater and grey skirt with a black knit scarf. I pulled on some black tall boots and braided my hair down to my shoulder. I couldn’t believe that I forgot about our stargazing project! Today Mr. Jumba assigned us a special project for the weekend. Apparently there was going to be some shooting stars tonight and all of the freshman classes had to watch the sky and write a paragraph about what they saw. But Xavier deiced to turn it into a little date, he was going to pack a picnic dinner and we were going to eat under the stars.

I shoved my silver and blue bathing suit in my locker, grabbed my cell phone and walked out the door to the pool area where I saw Xavier sitting on the bleachers hunched over a notepad writing vigorously. I walked over to him,

“Ready to go?” I asked him. He looked up and quickly shoved his notepad in his back pocket.

“Yeah let’s go,” he said. He put his arm around me and we walked together towards the woods near the ends of the school boundaries. When we got to the woods we laid our blanket on the banks of the Magic River. The river ran through the woods all the way to Belle and Beast’s castle. Xavier laid down the blanket and sat down. He patted the area next to him and I sat down and leaned against him. We curled up together and waited for the show to start.

“When is it supposed to start?” I asked him after about three minutes of silence.

“I’m not sure,” he said “But I brought sandwiches and snacks!” He reached for the basket behind him and pulled out two roast beef sandwiches and two bottles of water.

“What did you bring?” I asked him

“Two sandwiches, celery sticks, carrots, popcorn, and four bottles of water.” He said opening his water. I opened mine and took a big chug of water.  Waiting for the sky to light up, I looked up at the sky before blacking out.

Riley

I was sitting on the blanket I brought waiting for the stars to come out so I could get this assignment over with. Did I mention who my partner was? No? It’s Jakob. I hate Mr. Jumba for assigning this project. Jakob kept trying to make this into a “date” but I tried to show Jakob I wasn’t interested. But boys can’t take a hint. We were sitting in a small clearing surrounded by tall pines and bushes. I was in my dark purple fleece and dark blue jeggings, my hair was tied into a high ponytail, and tonight I was wearing tall brown boots

“Look at us,” Jakob started, I groaned.

“We’re sitting here, together, all alone, under the stars, maybe we could…” he started. All of a sudden the bush behind us coughed. I kept looking at the sky pretending that I didn’t hear anything. Jakob turned around with a confused look on his face.

“Did you hear that?” he asked me. I pretended to be clueless.

“No,” I said smiling. Jakob raised his eyebrows.

“Alright, well nature calls.” Jakob said getting up and walking into the trees. I made sure that he was a good distance before I turned around.

“What are you doing Carlos?” I said to the bush that coughed earlier.

“Not spying on you.” He said poking his head out from behind the bush. He walked over to sit next to me.

“That Jakob kid really has a thing for you.” Carlos said

“Thank you captain obvious.” I replied

“How did you know it was me?” He asked

“I could see your hair through the bush.” I said

“Really?”

“Your hair is white, I can see you a mile away.” I said with a little laugh.

“Yeah, that’s a good point.” He said

“Where’s your partner?” I asked him

“Who? Oh you mean Jace? I’m just letting him do the work while I talk to you.” He replied “Well until earring boy comes back.”

“You should really go back,” I said. Carlos gave me a look. “I’m sorry that came out so wrong.” I said, he laughed.  

“Don’t worry, I know you don’t want to hang around this guy.” He said I rolled my eyes.

“Like I would ever want to.” I said.

“Hey Riles,” Jakob yelled out. Carlos burst into silent laughter,

“Riles, you let him call you Riles?” he said trying to be serious.

“No, only my dad and Claire call me that, you can call me that too if you want.” I said “WHAT!” I yelled at Jakob.

“It’s starting,” Jakob said emerging from the woods. I flipped around to see if Carlos was still there but he disappeared into the night.

“Great,” I said “Don’t call me Riles.”

“Why not? I like calling you that.” He said turning my face towards his with his finger.

“Don’t touch me.” I said pushing his hand away I stood up.

“I’m getting out of here.” I said as Jakob stood up too. I turned to leave but Jakob grabbed my arm, turned me around and forcefully kissed me. I pushed him off me and onto the ground.

“WHAT THE HECK!” I screamed. Jakob got up

“Don’t tell me that you didn’t enjoy that.” He growled

“I didn’t, LEAVE ME ALONE!” I screamed for the final time, someone tapped Jakob on the shoulder. Jakob turned around and someone clocked him in the face. I heard a crack and a scream as Jakob fell to the ground.

“Let’s go.” Carlos said to me as he grabbed my hand and we ran off leaving Jakob rolling on the ground.

Chloe

It was Monday morning, Thanksgiving break started on Wednesday. The leaves on the trees were turning orange and yellow. The fall winds were coming in and the sky was a crystal clear blue dotted with white fluffy clouds. I walked onto the school grounds and started my way to my first class. My dance bag was around my shoulder and the stack of books I was carrying was as tall as my head. It didn’t really surprise me when I accidentally rammed into a guy, dropping my books and papers everywhere.

“I’m so sorry,” I said collecting my books.

“It’s fine,” he said helping me collect everything. “Wow, you have a lot of books.” He said

“Yeah, freshman year is very big.” I said embarrassed

“Oh you’re a freshman?” The guy said. I looked up at him; he was tall, muscular, had brown hair, striking green eyes and of course was in his uniform.

“Yeah,” I said, “What year are you?” I asked him “Junior.” He said “I’m Anxelin,” he said sticking out his hand.

“Chloe,” I said

“Well see you around Chloe.” Anexlin said walking away.

“Bye”

A/N: I'M ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!! I know I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile but school is very time-consuming and stressful (As probably everyone knows) I finally wrote chapter seven and chapter eight is in the works. But...the story...Riley, Jakob and Carlos...they are like my interesting love triangle. I'm sorry Chloe's chapter was kinda boring but It's important.

You cheer me up everyday when I see the reader number go up and up! I would have never dreamed that my story could get this far. I can't thank you all enough!!!!!! : D
