When my mom was younger, she went to one of those bars. It was a men strip club for women, and no one knows what was going on behind the scenes. This was a true crime about a man who came from India, searching for his American dream that turned into a nightmare filled with murder. This was a miniseries about it, and we watched the 20/20 special after this. Kumail Nanjiani played Steve. He decided to open his own business and looked for different ideas. There were never a strip club that were for women. There were only those with women strippers for men. That was how Chippendales came to be. He also gotten into trouble when he didn't allow black men to be in it.  That was weird since he's Indian. He didn't think women would be interested in going if they did. (I know I would. I would have been even more interested). Steve realized he messed up when he signs the contract and because he was desperate, he hired a hitman to kill the guy he signed the contract with as well as a few other people. The hitman then turns over on him and he was arrested for murder. He knew that if he was found guilty and sentence then the government would take his clubs and his wife will get nothing. So, he killed himself before he was sentenced, and his wife got Chippendales which are still open today. I thought this was really interesting. I felt bad for Steve because I don't believe he was a bad man. He was just too ambitious and, in the end, he became a bad man.
