Rachel had got me into this when it first came out. I don't think she watches this anymore, but I still do with my mom. Next season will be its last and I can't wait. This series is based on a book of the same name and there's a 1990 movie. I saw the movie with Rachel. I'm not sure if Ashley watched it with us or not. The series is really dark and is hard to watch in some areas. It's set in a dystopian United States where some women are not able to get pregnant so they kidnapped women that can and have their husbands rape them until they are pregnant and when they gave birth give their babies over. It follows the protagonist of June. Her name as a Handmaid is Offraid. She was taking from her husband to be a handmaid and they took her daughter to another family. She got pregnant but not by her commander but by another man who she had sex with. This is hard to watch and sometimes it's hard to see if there will be light at the end of the tornal. June finally did escape and brought all those women and babies to Canada. She has her baby Nicole with her, and she was reunited with her husband and another ex-handmaid who I also know from Orange is the New Black. Now she is trying to bring back her older daughter Hannah. At the end of the last season, she with a group of those women killed her commander Fred and that was a very enjoyable scene. This season, Fred's wife was pregnant. It was a miracle but not she was endangered of being a handmaid herself. She escaped and ran into June. June helped her gave birth to her son and brought them to the hospital. Unfortunately, her husband called Canadian immigration and the arrested her. June never asked for her husband to do that. She Menaged to escaped with her baby and they ran into each other again on a train fleeing from Canada. June was holding her little girl. Her husband was arrested for murdering a Canadian (only to save his wife).  That was how this season ended and it wasn't really satisfying but I can't wait for the next and finale season. I hope she will be reunited with Hannah.
