I wanted to watch the sister Act movies in honor of Maggie Smith. She had sadly passed away this year and she was the head nun. Whoopi's character went to this Catholic school when she was little but grow up to be a performer. Because of a situation she witnessed she had to go in hiding as a nun. No one at the church knew she wasn't a nun. I loved the singing, and she helped the chois to sing better and get more people in wanting to go to church. 

This is a great movie and I'm glad I watched it again. I love Whoopi in this and her other movies and on The View. I love Maggie Smith who was of course also in Harry Potter movies and Downton Abby. She will be greatly missed. Also one of the sisters in Hocus Pocus was in these movies too.
