The above video is from October 2021, so this been going on for a while. I guess they got rid of Disney Channel in other countries before they got rid of it here. It's all because of Streaming, especially Disney+.

This video explain why Disney Channel is...dead. They haven't had a hit show in years, and they haven't created any superstars in years like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi  Lovato, and the Jonas Brothers. I guess this process started in 2019 which is the same year as Disney+ lounge. Seeing this makes me sad. They have just celebrated 40 years of Disney Channel and now they are gone? That doesn't make sense to me. I've been watching Disney Channel since I was in 6th grade. I would watch it all the time. Even when I was in college the first time around in Salem State. My TV was always on Disney unless it was in the morning. I'll watch ABC. 

I was so mad when they got rid of Soap Net and put Disney Junior on that. Soap net was where you can watch old episodes of Soaps like One Life to Live and General Hospital as well as other shows like Veronica Mars, Beverly Hills 90210, Gilmore Girls, and One Tree Hill. 

I haven't been watching Disney since we moved to Oxford though I do have a TV in my room. In the beginning I tried to keep up with Sidney to the Max and Raven's home but at some point, I stopped. I watched my TV in my room but since I usually am out in the living room with my mom watching whatever. I did watch Disney Channel recently and wanted to get back to that because I missed it. But then last week on Labor Day, Colin told me that Disney Channel is no longer on Spectrum. I ran to my TV and turn it on and I got a message. That was so depressing. I'm mad that Disney Channel is over. That's my childhood and it's gone because of streaming like Blockbuster and Hollywood videos are gone because of Red Box. I still enjoy the "old fashion" way of watching shows and movies like TV and Theaters.
