When I heard that Disney Channel was no longer on Spectrum, I thought that it means that Disney Channel was gone for good. I was really upset, and I cried because that was my childhood and I thought it was stupid for them to get rid of it. Last Tuesday, while I was out on a subbing job, my mom texted me and told me it was back. I was so happy and of course I checked for myself. I'm so glad that Spectrum and Disney worked something out. I feel that eve with streaming, we should still have cable TV. Both things should exist at the same time. Just like when the video rental stores like Blockbuster and Hollywood videos closed, I thought that was stupid. Not everyone can afford all these streaming sites. It makes sense to have cable. And as far as DVDs are concerned, shows and movies are only on streaming like Netflix for a certain amount of time and they it will be removed for other things. So having the option of renting or buying DVDs should still co-exist. I'm happy that the channel I grow up with is still there for me to choose to go back to whenever I want.
