I was excited when we got a Scottish Princess. I am Scottish on my mom side. This was the first and only Pixar Princess movie and this movie was unique because not only did Marada had both her parents but also, she was completely independent. She was absolutely not interested in any of the sutters her mother had brought and there was no love interest at all for this Princess. My favorite line was "I'll be shooting for my own hand." Her parents remind me of my parents. My mom is like the Queen. Overly protective, strict with rules, and is a good person to have by your side. My dad is like the King. Very fun and easier to talk to (More so when I was younger). Marada loves archery and so do I. I used to do archery when I was in girl scouts. I even got a badge. 

Marada went to see a witch about changing her fate but instead her mom turns into a bear, and they had to find a way to change her back. During the process they were able to mend their bond and she was able to turn back. This is a touching story that is about a mother and daughter love. Similar to the love I have with my mom. I loved this movie when it first came out and I still love it. I do hope they make a life action of this. I would love to see that. 

I would also love to have a daughter name Marada. That's a pretty name.
