On the back cover of Recess: All Growed Down, the picture on the back which is suppossed to be from "Wild Child", T.J. is blonde.

In "Teachers' Lounge", during Spinelli's fantasy spot with the boxing scene, Miss Grotke is briefly voiced by Tress MacNeille.

During the first season of Recess, T.J. has eye highlights, while none of the other kids do. Starting with season two, his eyes don't have highlights anymore. However, he still has them on the VHS/DVD covers, the poster to Recess: School's Out, and the plush doll of him from Mattel.
